You could tell when Kerry the owner walked in the door to measure and provide an estimate, this was a very solid business. He knew his stuff, addressed our concerns/wishes, and was able to install new LVP over where existing carpet was without quarter rounds. Additionally, I had another room right outside of our living area where I did not want a transition piece and wanted the LVP's to run seamlessly - he could do that also. Others could not. I also needed the stairs done in matching LVP to tie in the existing LVP and then install on the entire bottom floor. No problem. This was a new house we had not moved into, pending new flooring, and although they were more than a month out, Kerry found time move up the schedule by more than a week - which helped tremendously. Fast forward to the work. Tony, the lead installer showed up. For starters, super friendly, walked the job - and there were some intricacies with the job. These guys are good. Extremely clean, very efficient, and did flawless work. I will post photos later of the stairs. After the job was complete, my wife noticed some small issues that had everything to do with our slab floors vs their workmanship. She mentioned to Karen, and maybe a few hours later, Kerry called me (he did not have her phone #), and told me he would address it. Cheryl called maybe the next say and scheduled the fix. I was thinking maybe an hour or so on a Saturday morning, but didn't realize they were going to pull a significant portion of the floor, as well as baseboards, and apply self leveling concrete and level out the floor. It took almost a complete day. I need to mention that Tony and crew came out again and Tony is so meticulous and noticed things that you may not. A perfectionist for sure. Tell me what other flooring companies would do that? I appreciate the above and beyond so much. So professional, so efficient, perfect job and just great people. I'm impressed with the work from St. Francis Flooring! Kerry came to give us an estimate for putting a carpet in my master bedroom and he was very responsive and flexible with our schedule (had to change the date twice). At first, they have a long wait to be able to install the carpet but it turned out they were able to do it sooner than expected which is very nice! Karen is also very friendly. Both Kerry and Karen helped us so much. We don't know much about carpet and they tried their best to help us pick the type of carpet that suits our lifestyle the most. They never tried to get us anything expensive which i really appreciate. After their crew installed the carpet, we asked them to come in again to check out some sound that resulted from us stepping on the carpet. We thought it was something wrong but they came to fix it very quickly despite their busy schedule. Thank you so much for such a great service! Great customer service and OUTSTANDING workmanship. Tony and Dimas arrived on time with all materials and tools needed for the project including face masks. Worked quickly and cleanly installing the hardwood flooring making the transition to the existing hardwood floor smooth and invisible. They cleaned up perfectly when they were done. The craftsmanship around my built-in desk was so precise that we elected not to use any trim pieces to finish the installation. They were so careful with the baseboards no replacements were required. A few years ago another Santa Rosa flooring store installed hardwood in my previous home. Their work was extremely sloppy and amateurish and they cheated us on cost adding additional "necessary" items after the fact. St. Francis Flooring is the best! read more
