New to town, I looked and found this place, it was clean and professional. I got a cleaning and must say to lady who did it was great. I was later recommended for a crown, that I could barely afford but they impressed me and I went forward. When I was being measured, prepared for a crown, they used a novice or trainee. I didn't make a scene but it was a bad experiences. I politely asked that I not be a part of any training in the future. If I avoid getting a crown for years because I'm poor, When I do it, I want the best product and service they can provide. After the permanent crown came, I went in and the main dentist started the work but then here came the same trainee I had specifically asked to never provide service to me. I asked that be placed in my record. Well they had started so I resolved to allow the trainee to glue in my new crown. How can you screw that up? Well it didn't fit. Also, when I say trainee, I mean somebody who does not know their job and is working on me alone without direct supervision.
Since the crown went way to far into my gum, the trainee began to widow the crown around the base with the drill/grinder to make it shorter. This freaked me out but I assumed if what she did sucked, I could complain and get a new one. I was not allowed to see the crown in between shavings but she eventually got it to fit, glued it in and I paid and got out of there without blowing up though I was steaming mad. The crown came out in about 4 months I think. That has only happened with temp crowns in the past. No idea what to say about that. We, I refuse to go back, I went to a new place that listens to me and honors my wishes that I am paying for. My insurance won't help on the second crown that is great by the way because aI got it at company B. I think I will avoid this company A in the future. BTW, I did not chew or do anything weird to make the crown come out. When it came out, it was just falling on my tongue softly. When I pulled the crown out, I could see damage from the shaving the lady did to make it fit. I could not see it while it was in my mouth because it was in the small gap between teeth. So long story short, they didn't honor my request to not use me as a training dummy, didn't ask me if I could be used for training in the first place and produced a faulty product that I had to pay for twice. That because I had to pay somebody else to do it right who would use qualified people. I advise staying away mostly because they cared nothing for my wishes. read more
