I scheduled my appointment online for a first visit and cleaning. Went in and everyone was nice but at no point did anyone tell me my X-rays that they automatically took were not covered by my insurance. They blindsided me with almost $300 the day before my then scheduled cleaning. First visit took 2 hours as they took "quicker" consults to review treatment plans before me. I just wanted a routine cleaning and instead turned into a rabbit hole. I went back and forth with Leeann calling me and having to keep putting me on hold to ask the manager over and over. I'm not sure why the manager just couldn't speak with me and put poor Leeann though the mediator. Leanne was very sweet and apologetic which was appreciated. They kept negotiating the amount I would have to pay to then keep my cleaning appointment and then finally said they would "forgive" or right off the remaining I was not prepared to pay. In office I tried to schedule for my husband a new client consult and just for a cleaning since the whole issue with my X-rays I didn't want to be deceitful and have to go through this again. I was told after the intake person had to go ask the manager again that it is not something they do. That they have to do x-rays. They just seem like all they want is money. read more

I visited Aspen Dental due to a broken tooth. I had not been to a dentist in a long time due to distrust. I did need a lot of work done. Everyone with whom I came into contact was friendly, helpful and professional. The treatment plan was discussed and I was given plenty of time to ask questions. At one point, my temporary crown came off. I went to the office the following day without an appointment (like I was instructed to do) and was seen within a few minutes. I have not completed the treatment plan as yet, but will finish and then continue to go to Aspen Dental for any maintenance or problems. I do have to call out a few of the people that have taken care of me at this place (Joseme, was great, thank you) and I am super happy with the service and time frame. Sharing this on behalf of my 93 yr old father, who does not have a Yelp account to avoid this BS happening to anyone else! I just recently moved to Saint Cloud and needed to have my upper denture repaired. I called and scheduled an appointment and was seen in a timely manner.  I'm 93 years old,  had a hip replacement and have trouble moving around.  The x-ray machine was in a tiny room.  I struggled to get in but finally did. When brought into the exam room, the tech didn't even raise the chair knowing my daughter & son in law had mentioned my  hip replacement. When I got to the room,  the dentist was excellent and did take this time to explain the process and cost. Afterwards, we were directed to Christine who provided different options of paying and/or financing the treatment plan.  Everything was great, so far!  They charged $274 for the initial consultation and xray which I found overly expensive but paid and left the practice.  Unfortunately, not many places nearby accept Medicare insurance near my home. Due to the cost & living on a fixed income, I decided to get a 2nd opinion 1 day later from Ideal Dental in Lake Nona, they didn't  accept my insurance, either BUT only charged $35 for the consult which included the Xray. I was told to request X-rays taken at Aspen Dental at the time of my visit to avoid having X-rays again. The following morning,  I called Aspen & spoke to Alyssa who advised that I needed to complete & sign an authorization to Release Protected Health Information when my daughter has a Power of Attorney over me. My daughter completed the form and sent it back within minutes of completing it.  After calling multiple times and asking if xrays coud be picked up, NO ONE WOULD ANSWER THE PHONE OR REPLY TO THE EMAILS. This is   completely unprofessional and unacceptable with the amount of money they got paid.  I have every right to obtain a copy of my xrays.   The document they had me complete states the following:  "Patients are NOT required to complete an authorization to receive a copy of their own records".  Apparently, no one at this office read the verbiage. I'm including a copy of the form with the highlighted verbiage specifying such. I'll admit I was nervous going here based on the reviews but the experience is is really great. And I mean that sincerely... I don't know if there was a staff change after the previous reviews but I had a great experience. Needed a deep clean and a crown and it all went off without a hitch. Every single person who worked with me was very kind and friendly. They did not try to upsell me and the price out of pocket with my insurance was fair. My complaints are a long history of Aspen Dental service and should be an embarrassment to anyone that's been involved with them at the time. Although it may seem outrageous, everything stated is accurate and much of it can be backed up with documentation. From a business side Aspen Dental a branded practice, is owned and operated by Cornerstone Denistry Holdings PLLC . I started going to Aspen Dental office in Saint Cloud Florida in and around April of 2018. At first it seemed like it was a decent place for dental service and for the basic things, it probably was. Although beyond normal care, I had major issues and was starting to lose my teeth of basic old age and bone loss combined. The understanding I got was that particular Aspen office did not do implant surgery at the time where you would go elsewhere for that but they would do the follow up crown work once the implants are ready. Aspen supposedly a leader in dental work with TV commercials and such sure gave me good impressions so I thought this would be a good way to go. That is one of the biggest mistakes I have ever made in my life but what little did I know at the time. My First stage to this is going to the oral surgery place the one that Aspen recommended where I had surgery of two implants placed side by side at the same time as they were missing teeth from the past. My real dental 'horror' story starts months later at the Aspen office with Dr. Carly Yale (Note that Yale was her maiden name at the time) in and around September 2020 where she was to do the follow up crowns for the implants. She seemed quite flustered though from the beginning on this not knowing what to do. What really surprised me was that Dr. Carly Yale seemed puzzled right from the start trying a few things to get an impression of the 2 implant gaps with the 2 corresponding posts (abutments) combined. She used the gel in a tray approach which they use for impressions back at that time. Basically you bite and hold for five minute duration as the gel hardens. Her last attempt was for the gel to actually pull out the loose posts (where they were not screwed in tightly into the implants) where they remain in the gel. In fact I remember she showed me the end results of the impression where the posts/abutments were stuck in the dried up gel sticking out. Thinking back on it now, it didn't seem quite right as there is shifting and unsettling going on with the loose posts as they are pulled out that way? I sure wish I would have taken a picture of this thing with my phone at the time when she showed me! I wish Carly was prepared someway by knowing what to do with patients with dental implants but she obviously wasn't at the time creating a long lasting curse on me. As I run out of space ... Let's just say that the end results which Carly initiated screwed up my implants by stripping the insides when she tried applying the crowns to them that had no chance in hell of ever working. Along with the temporary patch work afterwards (Re-done crowns) that the owner of many of these Aspen Offices (Dr G.) did on me. The end results were crowns that didn't last long with unforgettable aftermath of supporting screws that couldn't be removed along with abutments that can't be removed easily. (Cemented in possibly because the implants were stripped at that point?). I have had many dental specialists struggle with them trying to get the abutments removed. All I got thru the years from Aspen staff is one runaround after another and more damage work along the way to the implants including wild goose chases they sent me on! Years of agony and thousands of dollars spent to fix their problem they created. To top it, the head Aspen surgeon specialist new to the scene requested my original place to completely fill out and sign a warranty form regarding my original implants before he would work on them. It wasn't really their issue but Aspen's screw ups that caused the problem. read more

I strongly advise everyone to not visit this dental office at all. They are hungry money. I had a tooth that needed a extraction and the one that next to it needed a root canal. They advise me to to extract both of them instead just one and put a big bridge just because they do not do root canal anymore and it would cost me more money..... read more

I had been waiting a couple of years to get my knees replaced because there is no cartilage left in either! I had been planning afterwards of getting dentures afterward! My surgeons who did not include the paperwork in my folder for permission from my doctors to have the operation and said I needed to get a check up at a dentist and I had be speaking to Aspen recently about dentures! I went to the checkup and they said my teeth were bad, something I knew already but I already have the surgery scheduled and they suggested me financing the dentures right away and said it would be $10,000! I can't afford that and didn't want top be pushed into a quick poverty! I said I will think about it because my main object was my knees because theywanted to start pulling out my teeth right then and I said no! My surgery is scheduled in 2 weeks then they said if I won't try and finance right then they will not sign the paperwork saying I had no infections or abscesses which I don't unless I let them get to work and I will have to cancel my surgery anyway!! I was livid and they were pushing so I left and found out about their background of lies!! I will have to get my surgeon to do the surgery anyway because they never included the permission paperwork and it is down to the wire! I found out there are other ways to go but no matter what Aspen Dental might as well be Joe Biden as far as I trust them!!! read more

This is the best dentist office in Saint Cloud! Others may be pretty or have marble floors or seem deserted, they aren't as nice where it counts (in the chair) as this one! In my first two visits I've had tooth descailing, crown prep and fillings. It has been a couple of years since I fired the last dentist and haven't found a new one. My mouth needed some real repair work just to return my ability to chew food! I'm looking forward to a bridge replacement tomorrow to return my ability to chew on either side of my mouth. This place is wonderful! The professional technicians as well as staff and management work together like a very smoothly oiled fine tuned machine! Worth every hard earned dollar! read more

I went in to buy a Kia, instead they tried to sell me a Cadillac. I felt like I was in a car dealership and did even receive a regular cleaning. Rather, I was presented with a very expensive cleaning plan. I am better off going back to my previous Dental clinic who's employees are very honest. These people treated my mother like absolute GARBAGE. It seemed like every question she asked was an issue, and they were incredibly rude and bothered by anything she requested. She had been trying to obtain some records to send them to another office (because these people SUCK) since AUGUST. It's now October and the other office has yet to receive them. This was after she had her first appointment and they did absolutely nothing for her, only took some X-rays and gave her some astronomical "quote" of all the "work" she would need to have done. She didn't even get a cleaning! They were incredibly rude and impatient over the phone. The receptionist and whoever is at the desk are incredibly unprofessional and should not be working in a place where you have to interact with people. My mom, who is disabled and on medication had to physically come into the office to pick up the paperwork because it's apparently too difficult to send it by email or fax. And to top it all off, they weren't competent enough to give her COMPLETE records. If you want your time wasted, then by all means come here. Otherwise, run and give your money to a place that will actually treat you like a human being. read more

Sweet receptionist. Horrible dentist. Do not even think of asking a question as you will be bullied and attacked. Had four, or five staff members crowding around me as the dentist -who didn't even bother to introduce herself- adamantly stated that a root canal was the only solution because "it would be forbidden BY LAW " for her to attempt to drill and fill a cavity in the tooth. My daughter had chipped said tooth and was in no pain. The x-ray showed a cavity quite a ways away from the nerve. When I questioned her opinion, she rudely said to me "did you go to school to read an x-ray?" NO, but I do have eyes! If you don't want clients to ask questions why are you bothering to show them the x-rays! Someone with true confidence in their ability and professional experience can answer a question of two. I needed dental work and decided to switch dentist from Greenburg dental to Aspen as they were new in town and looked like their prices were going to be a little bit more competitive, I decided to purchase the dental financing as my procedures were going to be a little bit more than I could afford. My first visit was for a cleaning (deep) and ended up with an infection of the gums and mouth that required antibiotics and predisone as I was unable to swallow. That was how hard the hygienist dug. After healing which took my a good while I proceeded with the two crowns that were needed. The crowns were excellent and I have no issues with that. However, I recently went back for my 6 month cleaning and at check in was informed that a deep cleaning would be $250.00........I feel that the office prior to my appointment should have told me that my visits that I purchased on the dental plan had all been used and that my next visit would be out of pocket. I did not get the scheduled cleaning as I will go back to Greenburg that is less expensive and more up front with the prices. A good office staff would have informed me prior to my visit. When you are not expecting a fee (because I had not been told) I was in shock. For the office manager, that should be reiterated when making appointments what is your next visit procedure will be and the cost. read more
