Went in and everyone was nice but…read moreat no point did anyone tell me my X-rays that they automatically took were not covered by my insurance. They blindsided me with almost $300 the day before my then scheduled cleaning. First visit took 2 hours as they took "quicker" consults to review treatment plans before me. I just wanted a routine cleaning and instead turned into a rabbit hole. I went back and forth with Leeann calling me and having to keep putting me on hold to ask the manager over and over. I'm not sure why the manager just couldn't speak with me and put poor Leeann though the mediator. Leanne was very sweet and apologetic which was appreciated. They kept negotiating the amount I would have to pay to then keep my cleaning appointment and then finally said they would "forgive" or right off the remaining I was not prepared to pay. In office I tried to schedule for my husband a new client consult and just for a cleaning since the whole issue with my X-rays I didn't want to be deceitful and have to go through this again. I was told after the intake person had to go ask the manager again that it is not something they do. That they have to do x-rays. They just seem like all they want is money.

Everyone with whom I came into contact was friendly, helpful and professional. The treatment plan was discussed and I was given plenty of time to ask questions. At one point, my temporary crown came off. I went to the office the following day without an appointment (like I was instructed to do) and was seen within a few minutes. I have not completed the treatment plan as yet, but will finish and then continue to go to Aspen Dental for any maintenance or problems. I would highly recommend Aspen Dental St. Cloud office.

I am extremely disappointed with how I was treated at Stevens Crossing Dental Care, specifically by the supervisor/manager, James. I had been a patient of this practice for years, and my concerns are specifically related to my experiences with management. On August 7, 2026, I arrived after receiving a text from the office confirming my 2:30 PM appointment, yet I was told I did not have an appointment. This was not the first time I experienced appointment scheduling issues despite receiving confirmation messages. While attempting to calmly discuss my concerns with a front-desk employee who has known me for years, James intervened, physically moved/pushed the employee aside, took over the conversation, called me "aggressive," ordered me to leave, and threatened to call law enforcement. I never raised my voice, used profanity, threatened anyone, or made aggressive gestures. Two longtime front-desk employees witnessed the interaction. I was also told that James had previously instructed staff that I would be "punished" or "sanctioned" if I missed an appointment. On a prior occasion when I was sick, I responsibly called to cancel and even offered medical documentation, which the office declined. This was not my first negative interaction with James. During a previous insurance billing issue, he interrupted my conversation with another employee and told me to "be a responsible adult and pay my bill," while accusing me of trying to avoid payment. The employee ultimately resubmitted the insurance claim, and the insurance payment was received and posted by the practice, as I had explained would likely occur. I also previously asked James who I could speak with above him regarding my concerns and was told there was no one above him. On August 7, I requested a blank Release of Information/records-request form for my own dental records and was not provided one before being ordered to leave. Patients should be able to respectfully question appointment discrepancies, insurance billing, request their own records, and raise concerns about management without being demeaned, labeled "aggressive," or threatened with law enforcement. I am documenting my experience because I believe patients deserve respectful treatment, clear communication, and a meaningful way to raise concerns.

They really know what there doing here & are very knowledgeable. I followed there process / recommendations & now I have an amazing smile that I've never had before. I did a root canal & 2 crowns along with Invisalign & WOW no discomfort & teeth straight as an arrow. I have 3 missing teeth aswell & will be doing my implants with Dr Parr. My wife has also got a crown & 2 implants already done with Dr Parr and she has NO complications & NO pain. Her 2 implants look perfect & match her smile perfectly. I definitely recommend this dental office. Dr Parr is now officially my personal & family dentist. Trust me if you believe in there process you won't regret it.

After the prep, I had severe pain that lasted over a week, waking me up at night and radiating into my jaw and temple. After multiple visits and minimal relief from bite adjustments, I was told I suddenly needed TWO root canals. After the procedures, I developed intense, sharp pain to any cold liquid--every sip caused searing pain for several seconds. When I went back, the response was another quick bite adjustment and a prescription. No real investigation, no clear answers, no additions X-rays or reviewing of possible causes aside from "everything gets irritated after procedures, take some meds." The care felt rushed and impersonal the entire time. I expressed dental anxiety upfront and never felt heard or taken seriously. More just another number in the day of patients. I will never go back to this practice. I would not recommend this office if you're looking for thorough care or a dentist who actually takes time to understand what's going on. Now I have to go to an Endodontist (which I should have gone to in the first place for a second opinion) to most likely get a retreatment root canal. This guy is NOT THOROUGH, do not go here.
