This bowling alley deserves a much higher rating. Lovely staff, lanes are always nicely maintained. Definitely our top choice.

Most bowling alleys (if not part of a chain, ie Brunswick), have a dreary vibe to them - dark, dank and unkempt - but not here. We arrived at 1pm for the birthday party, and all of the lanes were already busy. You can tell that this business books a lot of parties - and I can see why! The price per person for parties is fantastic! They have multiple tiers of both children and adult parties, as well as corporate and fundraising events. We had chicken fingers and pizza, and both were better than you'd expect at a bowling alley. The party even had a coordinator; he kept the time very on track, and was very accommodating. I'd definitely recommend Plainfield Lanes as a local outing or party spot!

On the other hand, this place is also a little more high end compared to your old fashion bowling/dive bar places. The location was very easy to find. We used Google Navigation and it lead us directly to the place. If you miss the entrance, it might be a little annoying to backtrack but no big issues. Parking was no issues and it is very big compared to the size of the building. We showed up on a busy Wednesday where it is penny pins so you only pay a penny per pin you knock down. Essentially...the worst you are, the cheaper your game will be. Inside the building is very nice and clean. There are two entrances..one is a "restaurant" and the other is the decent sized arcade and bowling. There is a self serving beer tap. And they do serve food. They do a little star less due to the prices of the food as well. It is better than your traditional bar/bowling food but it is a little more expensive. Also, I do enjoy the service of the self serving beer tap. They had a lot of selections of beer, 1-2 seltzers, 1 cider and ~5 wine selection. Also, they do have a "limit" of ~32 oz where the bartender can allow you or less depending on how you act. I do appreciate that so while you can drink feely, no one is getting drunk. I think we were paying ~.60 cents an oz and it does tell you how much your drink will cost as you are pouring. Also, they do have a small water station will is greatly appreciated. The arcade is decently sized. They do have a lot of selections of games but it is not a place where I would go just for the arcade. The size is good for after bowling or while you are waiting for your lane. Overall, I am very impressed with this location. Food, self serving beer tap, and arcades... I am fan of Twisted Pins and I would be back in the future.

Our table attendant Kyle was super. He was very accommodating and helped with some of the menu choices as one person had a food allergy. The wallet loves surprises like that. I'll be back to visit and try more menu items. For being such a large venue and so many activities going on the acoustics were great. From what I saw, it looked like Pinstripes could easily accommodate several large gatherings happening at the same time without feeling too noisy or crowded. Even with a good number of people enjoying different events at the same time, service was still quick and friendly. The food here was also delicious. All the different fruits and vegetables that I tried here were fresh and colorful, and I really appreciate the extra effort they put into good presentation throughout the buffet. This gave me the feeling of enjoying a nice brunch on a more luxury line of a cruise boat. In particular, the carved meats and various stations like the waffle, omelet, and chocolate fountain stations really stood out. Not only were the items here delicious, but it really gave this brunch a more premium feel and was great for fun pictures with all the customization options available. Overall, great event space with a great brunch option available. I'd like to return here another day to try some of the activity options and try more of their dining options.

Sensory overload and I'm loving it!!!! Sights, sounds, feels, smells........it's got it all!…read more Bowlero is a great time for all. This was my first time at a Bowlero. Though there are a few options out there for multi-experience venue's, I was pretty impressed with my first visit to Bowlero. Upon entering, we quickly got set up with shoes and a lane for the evening's bowling festivities. We were a group of 6 for a work event. Some call it "team building". I call it getting out and having some drinks, food and fun. I guess their both correct, but my sounds more awesomer. (--- It's a word!) As we waited for the rest of our group to arrive, we walked over to the bar and ordered a couple of drinks. Easy enough. Once we were all there, we saddled up with some sweet clown shoes, grabbed our balls tightly and let it fly! We played 2 games in total. With 6 people, that took roughly 90 minutes or so. There is a very handy touch screen POS system at each lane. We were able to order food and drinks throughout our games. There was one downside to the POS for ordering. Unless we were doing it incorrectly, we needed to order and invoice each individual order. By the end of the night, we had about 5 individual receipts to tally up for expenses. I'm not certain if there is a way to keep a card or tab open, but we did not readily figure out how. We did have chicken nachos and wings (ordered traditional, got boneless). Both were as good as expected. Would I go back? Totally. Whether you're going as a couple or larger group, Bowlero has a lot to offer. They did have a variety of video games as well, however we didn't venture over there. Friends, work or family, you're guaranteed to have a good time at Bowlero. And if you don't, well, I have a feeling that it's you and not Bowlero.

However, when I got here at 6:15 the person told me I would need to wait until 8 o'clock for the unlimited bowling. On top of it there were about 30 lanes open and they told us we would have to wait 45 minutes for a lane. The person that told us all this was Madison and she was not helpful or considerate in anyway. Then we started bowling and not one single server had come to our table to ask us how is it going or if we needed anything. Also, on a Friday night there shouldn't be one bartender . I went to get a refill on a Sprite and it took 10 minutes. I just wanted to walk behind the bar and make it myself. I do not recommend this place for bowling as it's VERY expensive and no one wants to help you out and makes you wait for everything .

At the front desk, Kevin (the receptionist) told me it's $15 per person plus $5 for shoes. I simply asked why some people were playing with their own shoes, and instead of explaining, he became rude and aggressive. He told me I couldn't bowl and even gestured for me to leave. I stayed calm and said I'd pay for the shoes anyway just to avoid any issue, but he still refused to let me play. When I asked for the manager, Tony, things got worse. He approached with a laughing, dismissive attitude, interrupted me constantly, and even started raising his voice while I was trying to explain politely. His behavior was shockingly unprofessional -- honestly, Tony doesn't seem fit for even the lowest customer-service role, let alone a management position. The entire interaction made me feel completely disrespected and possibly discriminated against. No customer should be treated this way for simply asking a question. This place desperately needs better management and training in professionalism, respect, and basic customer service. I would strongly recommend avoiding this bowling center.

I took photos of the ones that brought back strong memories of playing with my cousin at the bowling alley or the 7-Eleven, at the camp grounds and at the hotels, and even at the casinos when our parents were hitting the slots. $20 unlimited gaming is a steal for what you get here. I have no complaints. There are bathrooms in the back as well as a coat rack. There is plenty of space to feel comfortable taking your time. While there is no food, there are drinks available and they allow in and out privileges with your wristband. My wish would be that they find 720, the skateboarding game... Paperboy, and Crazy Taxi, and add them to the lineup. Also a few more shooters from the 90s, as those were quarter guzzlers that we could never finish with real money. I've been here twice and will be back again soon!
