Mikey likes the service . Good service center with that small town feelz . You can actually talk to the technician and shop foreman .

It was just a lucky break that I found out about this FORD Auto Repair facility that opened…read morerecently, our neighbor Colin being the shop manager. They have allot of seasoned mechanics that deal with all makes and models of vehicles. All their staff are friendly and experienced professionals. Hats off to their General Manager - Billy, and Service Advisor/Parts Person/Receptionist - Tara who took the time to chat with me while I waited in their very large Covid Compliant waiting room ( I was the only customer waiting). They offered to shuttle me home and back, but decided to wait as I did not want to put them out. I had gone to a muffler shop to get an oil change and they said we needed a brake service and a new rack and pinion. We refused the new rack and pinion and new brakes but went for the brake service (flush and clean calipers) as this was the third time they mentioned it (had done 3 oil changes there before). When we came to get our car, the bill came to $400. They forgot to do the oil change. I decided not to go back, especially when I heard that others who had gone there had been fed the same hype about needing a brake service which they fortunately refused and found out later their brakes were fine. So when I heard from my son that Ford had opened a new repair facility and that our neighbor was the shop manager, and that the location was only 5 minutes away, we decided to try them out and take our 2.0 Accord ILX there to get that oil change and find out exactly what the muffler shop charged us for. Results: The good news first. Colin found out that because our battery was low (over 3 years old) it was giving false readings indicating a problem with our rack & pinion. The muffler shop mechanic said the front tires had allot of play in them, however that was not the case at all. Once the battery was replaced and a road test done, and retested, the Rack and Pinion passed with flying colors. The muffler shop quoted $4500 just for a new rack and pinion, but Colin and another repair shop we have gone to quoted $2500 installed. CITY2PERFORMANCE did the oil change, and 60 point inspection and except for a new battery, everything was fine including our brakes and rack & pinion.^_^ The bad news. The muffler shop ripped us off, and did a flush that was not needed and the brakes were not serviced and Colin took photographic evidence to show me. The nuts on the brakes needed to service them had not been removed at all ... it was so evident. So the only thing they did was do a brake fluid flush which was not required and actually replaced the air filter as I had asked. Still the question is why they didn't do the oil change when the service oil light was on, yet they replaced the air filter? Need Auto Service and Repair work done? My advice... before you go anywhere else, try out CITY2PERFORMANCE and tell them Ron sent you. ^_^

In my opinion, I would avoid St. Albert Honda like the plague. I would give them 0 stars if I…read morecould. Notice they only have 3.2 stars out of 5 with only 14 reviews. They should have hundreds of reviews, but their rating got so bad they had to start from scratch again. Bought a car from them 4.5 years ago, absolute nightmare, had a deal with the salesman to buy a brand-new Insight for $30,000 plus the 6.7% interest only. The shady finance department butchered the first contract up so bad, they had me owing over $48,000. After revisions, they then, conveniently forgot to change the bi-weekly payment from $267 bi-weekly to roughly $225 bi-weekly. I pointed it out to the girl in finance, and she said, "it's been already sent off to the bank, but ensured me that with the larger payments, the term would therefore shorten from 7 years to roughly 5.5". It made sense to me, so I believed her. OK, in retrospect, believing her after trying to overcharge me the first time, wasn't smart. But never thought a large auto maker like that would try to screw someone over a second time after being caught the first time. But hats off to St. Albert Honda, because they pulled it off. It's kind of like being warned by a referee for bumping into the other teams goalie, nodding in agreement with the ref, then punching the goalie in the head the minute the refs back is turned. Long story slightly shorter, I still have $11,400 still owing on a $30,000 car loan after paying $267 bi-weekly for 4.5 years of a supposed 5.5 year term. No matter how many auto loan calculators I used, including Honda's, I should only have roughly $6500 owing. This particular bank no longer deals with St. Albert Honda, and I can see why. Run the other waaaaaaay, unless you have an extra $5000 to spare!!!!!!

Long post. Terrible…read moreexperience and people! Not only are they inexperienced and don't know cars but they lie. I went in to get a battery replacement as they are affiliated with AMA. Due to the high volume of roadside service, AMA had suspended their battery service. They posted on their site that if you require battery service to head to your local Lube City for assistance and they will provide the same service to their members. I decided to take my car in and get a battery replaced as it was still under warranty and causing me problems. I get there only to be told by the "manager" that they cannot honour it. I tried to explain my situation twice and mentioned this info came from AMA's site but he refused to listen. He then told me he had no proof that I purchased the battery from them and there's nothing he could do about it. My battery is clearly an AMA brand and there was a sticker on it with the date purchased. He then tried to tell me that I could've printed off a sticker online and stuck it to the battery to make it look like an AMA brand. He later told me that I need all the paper work or they won't do anything about it. He then said they don't "carry" batteries that will work for my car and that I'd be wasting my time going to other Lube Cities with this. I drive a plain ole common car that requires a regular avg. battery. I called up AMA and explained what had happened. They reached out to them and the manager confirmed that no paper work is needed and that the sticker alone is valid. The manager also said that they are doing the battery service. So in the end he completely lied to me and tried to accuse me of being a liar. Some things I noticed- they do not appear to know exactly what they are doing. Asked me what car I drove yet they were inspecting my car. Maybe it was a blessing in disguise that they did not end up provide the service. I've noticed other reviews saying their cars end up a mess after dealing with them.

Good service! Friendly staff, they completed work mr.lube didn't have time to do. I will come here…read morefrom now on. Better prices and far better service.
