I picked up some pastries and placed a last minute order for a special occasion cake. The staff was friendly and provided attentive service. I was able to chose from the cake designs on display and make some modifications to the filling and flavor of cake for an additional fee. The cakes are moderately priced and worth the price. I was able to place the order for pick up in less than 48hrs. The cake designs were simple but beautiful. The interior is simple with display cases with an assortment of cakes and pastries and a center table with ready to go prepackaged sweets. They have cakes on display ready to take as well as plenty of individual slices, pastries, cookies, and prepackaged ready to go sweets like baklava. I found easy street parking in front but there is also a small shared private parking lot off to the side.

They had outdoor seating, but wouldn't call it a patio. Few chairs and a table. There was a very long line for people to place their orders. After waiting for about 20 minutes, I couldn't wait any more since I had to be somewhere very important. I was eyeing their goodies, but not having enough time, I had to walk out and didn't get a chance to try any one of their pastries.. Will definitely be back to try their pastries, ice cream, and hopefully buy a cake for a friend's birthday that is coming up soon. Street parking & metered parking. I didn't see another parking by the business. Family owned and has been around for almost a decade. They have lots of variety display of cakes, pastries, ice cream, and can customize your cakes to your own liking and preference for any one of your special occasions!! This will be my last time EVER ordering from Valentines Sweets. This must be under new ownership…read morebecause their cake quality has completely changed, as well as their customer service. I ordered my son's 4th birthday cake 2 weeks in advance with clear instructions for this to be a rainbow cake without added cost which I thought the bakery could do, with frosting. I called the day before the party as the bakery had not contacted me at all to let me know the order was received and that they understood the custom cake order. I corresponded with someone over text ONLY who said that the following: "I sent a message But normally they go based on your message so the bakers make the cakes for tomorrow on Saturday mornings and since you asked to do rainbow design without added costs , they use their creativity to do just that. So the cake will have rainbow frosting design" The photos below are the cake that I picked up the next day (the toppers I added myself). This cake is an absolute disaster. Someone ran to Ralph's and grabbed gel pens and added this sloppy rainbow before my husband picked up the order to cover their mistake. I texted the number that I corresponded with photos of the cake and how disappointed I was, and never heard back with an apology or a refund. Save yourself a headache and go elsewhere. Also for reference this was $45 for a 4" vegan cake. I don't even feel confident it was vegan given the poor design job.
