Hands down to the most amazing South Indian food serving Vegetarian restaurant here in Georgia. Have been visiting since their opening in Summer of 2025, and their consistency is just fabulous irrespective of the day and time you visit. Food quality is great and their service, ambience is totally worth it! THE FOOD: This is one Vegetarian restaurant probably on the lines of offering some very unique dishes more specific to Tamil Nadu style at a reasonable price. Some of them seem expensive, but still would say it's really worth it. I have tried almost everything ranging from their South Indian tiffin items to Dosa to Thali to North Indian Curries and Fried rice. My best and most favorite would be their Dosa varieties. There are spicy dishes which they usually let us know ahead as we eat with Kids, and we try to avoid them. If there's a requirement for mild spice they genuinely try to honor it 10/10 times till now. They do have a very nice non alcoholic drink menu which has a lot of refreshing drinks and they are so good. The Paneer Sizzler tikka was amazing along with the Mint chutney. The North Indian curries seemed a bit on the spicy side but still good. The Maha Thali was incredibly good. It has a great variety of items and nicely presented and it varies by week. The only and the main concern I have is the Sambar. While everything here is so similar to what we get in Madras/ Tamil Nadu, Sambar is probably the only item that looks totally off. I really wish they look into this and address it ASAP. Also the recent experience of having Idiyappam with Kurma was kind of disappointing as the Kurma masala was over the top. The Paneer fried rice I once had was kind of okay and dry. Tomato Soup & Desserts were damn good. The quality is usually good and sits well on your tummy. SERVICE & AMBIENCE: A very crowded restaurant on the weekends and wait time can go unto 40 mins to 1 hour during peak hours of Lunch and Dinner. The ambience is so perfect with ample lighting and refreshing as we walk in. The seating arrangements are good and nicely spaced out. The staffs here are extremely courteous and well mannered. They are truly helpful especially the lady with the glasses and the guy Dhayanidhi (I guess that was his name). They sincerely consider the feedback from our end every time we go there and they are outright apologetic if they got things wrong or anything happens. Highly compassionate and friendly people working in here. BOTTOMLINE: Such a lovely Veg restaurant with enormous varieties and great quality and quantity of food at a very optimal pricing. I hope they consider their Sambar recipe to align with Madras/ TN style than being so generic. Extremely friendly and courteous staffs. Came here with my family for lunch on a Sunday. It also happened to be women's day, so they gave my mom and I flowers for our hair which was very sweet. I like the way the inside is decorated, it feels very open and clean. The seating choice (orange ones) are a little low to the ground. We ordered a lot of items to share: 1. Paneer Dragon ($14) - I really liked this. It tasted like a classic chilli paneer, but the veggies were a good touch. 2. Banana Bajji ($13) - This was really good. Not something you see very often and came with a chutney. The outside coating was crunchy and it has a subtle flavor. 3. Rava Dosa ($14) - So crunchy and fulfilling. You can never go wrong with a rava dosa. 4. Malai Kofta ($16) - Was pretty standard. It comes with like 2/3 big balls of Kofta. I preferred the other dishes but this is good too. (also a little bit on the sweeter side). 5. Paneer Kulchan ($16) - This was really good. They suggested this as a spicy dish (it wasn't that spicy tbh) The veggies were really yum. My whole family enjoyed this dish. 6. Dal Tadka ($14) - A good classic Dal Tadka. Was yummy and exactly what you would expect. 7. Plain Naan ($4) - Standard naan. 8. Onion Kulcha ($7) - This took so long to come out and was doughy. I would NOT recommend this. Maybe it just needed more time to cook. 9. Gulab Jamun Ice Cream ($10) - Standard. Also, it took forever to get their attention here. The onion kulcha I ordered was taking so long to come, that I just ate my meal with the naan and rice & was full my the time it came. We couldn't get their attention to ask about it or even ask for more water. We also ordered a filter coffee with the dessert, and it was taking so long. Beautiful ambiance, neat layout and amazing food! It is located inside the Patel brothers plaza, with open parking. It is fairly busy so making a reservation on toast tab is recommended. The service is fast which keeps the tables moving, slightly on the pricey end. However it is great for groups, family, business meals. I had a very enjoyable meal here. The service was really good and everyone was friendly. Today I tried Gutti Vankaya for the first time and I loved it. After hearing good reviews of this place, we finally made it to lunch here on Friday. They were offering Maha Thali so we ordered that and an appetizer of medhu Vada to share. This is the Vegetarian extension of Rajni. The idli with podi and ghee was just amazing as was the Rava masala Dosa. Ordered the Choley bathura, which was a little sweet, not really how it should be. Went today (Mother's Day). OMG waited for over an hour. But once we were seated the service was quick. The furniture and fitting were really nice too. Hope they can maintain it. Srirangam - first time here and I should say it was a pleasant experience . Fantastic locality , very close to many other shops and Cummings localities. Lots of parking available here . The inside of the restaurant was awesome and the ambience was top classs . Loved the lighting , seating and the overall feel of the restaurant . Service could be better . Takes time to place the order , and get the order . Every order was about 15-20 mins wait time . I'm sure they are preparing it fresh and the wait time was worth it . Good to see them give bottle waters instead of tap water .. Thattu idli was super awesome . Nice podi on top of it and it was really tasty . Sambar could be better though. Tasted like those "bachelor Sambar" with less salt. The red chutney was top classs, so was the green one . We then ordered vada curry ... on a first taste it tasted less salty but it went well with Thattu idli . They also gave rice with vada curry . It was good . To finish we had a filter coffee ! This Indian restaurant just opened couple of weeks back. It's in the same place where you have Patel Brothers and other Indian stores in the plaza. The staff was warm and welcoming from the moment we walked in. The food is very tasty. We have tried Idli, set dosa with vada curry and rasmali for dessert. Also tried their filter coffee which was awesome. Good service and great decor. Serving authentic South Indian dishes with all vegetarian dishes only. The interior is beautifully decorated with artificial ferns, creating a pleasant atmosphere. This restaurant is run by the same people who operate Rajni Restaurant next door, and the quality and flavor profiles are very similar. If you're a fan of South Indian vegetarian cuisine or the food at Rajni, Srirangam is a must-visit. I highly recommend checking this place out. A couple of things stood out for improvement like Kirkland water bottles were served, which raises concerns about sustainability and plastic waste. Switching to reusable or filtered water options could be more eco-friendly. The background music was western and on a loop, a missed opportunity. Given the South Indian theme, classical instrumental music especially Carnatic would have elevated the atmosphere and align better with the dining experience. I have tried this for the first time. Ambience is really great. Bright colors and cheerful décor make the place feel vibrant and homely. I have tried Business Lunch Thali ($16). It has curries, Sambar, charu, dal, pickle, papad, chapathi, curd, dessert everything. Good thing is that they fill it up again if you need more. We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! Please if you looking for good food, this is not the place. Ambience and decor is just top notch. Service is mediocre. We wanted to order a rava dosa along with some curries and naan. Server instantly said dosa will take 40 mins to come out as kitchen is busy. Never heard that excuse for one dosa . Naans were too rubbery and chewy. We were incredibly disappointed with our recent experience. As repeat customers, we had enjoyed our last visit and decided to celebrate a birthday on December 14th. We arrived at the restaurant at 8:40 PM and placed our order, which included hot and sour soup, Babycorn Schezwan, fried rice, noodles, mango lassi, and jaljira. My wife and I went to have lunch there last Monday - 1 PM or so. We ordered a paneer dosa and a puri / korma and 1 coffee. Total bill $35 + tip $40. The puri was oily - the dosa paper thin - you cant even eat it - its that thin and crispy like papad. So all the paneer mix got left behind as we couldn't eat it with this paper thin papad dosa. Absolutely outrageous price for really bad food. Why would you go there ? Unless you have money to burn on bad food that is outrageously expensive. We would never go there again. We left thinking - did we just pay $40 for the worst lunch ever ! A dosa or 2 puris shouldn't cost $15 - $16 - thats a real ripoff. I went over to this place on hearing about their amazing reviews. Place crosses all the boxes. Staff is polite and super attentive, quality of food is excellent, place is super clean. Servers are attentive and top notch. Plastic bottles avoid all the mess, dishes and tables are clean and super organized. Ambience is great. Decor is amazing. I look forward to visiting them again.
