There is wide variety of selection of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian foods. From crispy appetizers to rich curries and aromatic rice dishes, every item feels thoughtfully prepared and full of authentic taste. Though it's operated by a Punjabi owner, the kitchen team serves very authentic South Indian flavors, and the ambience also leans South Indian--simple, warm, and family-friendly. My favorite is their fruit custard. I do not have sweet tooth but I always get multiple servings of their fruit custard. In the veg, their daal is always a hit and sambaar is close. Non-veg, their chicken and lamb flare well. If you're looking for a delicious, diverse, and satisfying Indian buffet with great customer service, Madras Chettinad is absolutely worth a visit. A side of curry chick peas were provided at no additional charge and I gobbled up a fair portion- it seemed like there were 10-12 portions. Cricket and soccer matches were on the tv sets. Only odd note- the glasses are already on the tables and turned upside down. That seems like it could be unsanitary if the tables are not properly cleaned. I loved how large the vegetarian section was that included four soups, Pani Puri and many entrees. Probably the most entrees I've ever seen on a buffet. I sampled many of the vegetarian items and there wasn't a single one that I didn't find enjoyable. I believe that every single employee greeted me and asked how my food was.
