After walking along, the boardwalk ran into this fabulous Mexican restaurant for the first time was easy to find along the boardwalk and the initial vibe was just kind of laid-back easy-going. It was greeted by the owner and his family. Got a couple dishes and a couple beers and the price was reasonable, so it was really good for a casual meal. The dish that surprise me was the rice dish with seafood and fish pork beef chicken. Had a nice discussion with the owner who was from the LA area and knew much about Mexican food and had multiple sauces that really accentuated the food. I would definitely go back. It's good for a casual lunch or a casual dinner with friends. definitely if you're in the area check it out.

Popped by for dinner when we visited the beach. The restaurant did not have much space inside and we were seated at a counter in the back near the kitchen and washroom I tried their chicken fajitas. It was a fairly large portion and the chicken and corn were served on a sizzling hot iron plate. The dish was rather bland and they did not provide any sauces with the dish or at the table. The service was very lacking. Although they had at least 3 wait staff running around in a small space, it was very difficult to get their attention or much service. The part that pushed the rating down to a 2 was the bathroom situation. For a taco place where the expectation is to eat with your hands, it's unacceptable that the soap dispenser in the washroom not work properly! We had to ask the kitchen staff for soap after coming out of the washroom as the soap dispenser simply wouldn't work!

We came here for dinner during a day trip to Hollywood beach area. The place was packed with customers and lively music when we arrived and we had to squish in a corner at the bar. We ordered fajita, and varieties of tacos to try out. The portion was huge for all our dishes and there were hits and misses in terms of the quality of the food. The chicken fajita came with green peppers, tortillas and rice etc. The flavour tasted like food court food. The chicken was too dry. For the tacos, the fish taco was pretty good, el pastor was average and the chicken taco was again too dry. Overall, it's a restaurant focusing more on quantity rather than quality of the food which is not my cup of tea.

The margaritas are big and good. The service was great and the servers were attentive. The ambiance is nice. I love the art work on the walls. It's a bit loud because the place next door has live music. There is seating out front too. The food was decent. I expected more flavor and seasoning. I may return if a friend suggests it

The food was good here and the Micheladas were good here. Nice location and the waitress was nice as well.

Mexican for dinner !

It was purely by accident that we ended up at this Mexican restaurant but it turned out to be the best accident ever! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by Ariel (the host & owner), who went above and beyond to accommodate our party of six with ease and a smile. The service was attentive, and the atmosphere felt inviting and relaxed, perfect for both families and casual outings. To our surprise, it just so happened to be karaoke night and let me tell you, it took the experience to a whole new level. Drinks were served in authentic, handcrafted Mexican cups, and we were invited to wear sombreros and wrestling masks just for fun. The colorful walls, rich with character, bled and spoke to the depth and vibrance of Mexican culture. Every corner of the space celebrated tradition in the most joyful and welcoming way. There is also indoor and outdoor seating. We were absolutely astounded by the service we received from Genesis, who was not only patient with our large group but also fully supportive of us having the best night ever. We started with chips and guacamole and all ordered different dishes and drinks. I had the carne asada quesadilla, strawberry lemonade (made in house) , chips and guac. Of course to sing happy birthday we ordered the churros and ice cream. Though the restaurant is posted to close at 11 PM, with all the laughter, singing, and the encouragement of the staff who even jumped in to perform or dance with us the place didn't shut down until an hour later. The vibe was so good, no one wanted to leave! Karaoke happens all weekend long Friday, Saturday, and Sunday so if you're looking for a fun night out, with a view of the beach and delicious, authentic Mexican food, this is the spot. Ariel, Genesis and Diego thank you for making a birthday celebration the best night!

Amazing view amazing tacos. I will definitely be back here. The servers were very sweet too!

Fish Baja Fish Burrito

Baja Bliss at Sr. Miche - A Flavorful Hidden Gem in Hollywood, FL Sr. Miche delivered one of the best burrito experiences I've had in a long time. I ordered the Baja Fish Burrito, and it was nothing short of spectacular. The fish was perfectly crispy on the outside, tender and flaky on the inside--seasoned just right with a bold, fresh flavor that really set it apart. Wrapped in a warm, grilled tortilla and packed with crunchy lettuce, pico de gallo, creamy sauce, and cotija cheese, every bite hit the mark. The drizzle of crema and festive Mexican flag on top added a thoughtful and fun touch. Bonus: the crispy tortilla chip on the side was a nice little extra. The vibe at Sr. Miche is bright, colorful, and full of energy, with eye-catching Día de los Muertos artwork and fun decor throughout. I paired my meal with an ice-cold Corona, which complemented the meal perfectly. Friendly service, bold flavors, and a great atmosphere--what more could you ask for? Sr. Miche is a must-visit if you're in the Hollywood, FL area. Whether you're a local or just passing through, the Baja Fish Burrito alone is worth the stop.

Saw the reviews on yelp so decided to try it since we're walking the boardwalk. The drinks were good. The shrimp bowl was OK. The waiter was sweet. It was OK place to come by on the boardwalk.

I'm not sure if I just caught this place on an off day, but unfortunately, my experience was really disappointing. I was excited to try it, but the food just didn't deliver. The tacos were honestly some of the worst I've ever had. Served cold, lacking flavor, and the meat was unseasoned and unappetizing. I couldn't even finish them; one bite was enough. That said, our server was very kind and accommodating, and I genuinely appreciated her effort it definitely wasn't her fault. Sadly, based on the food alone, I won't be returning.

Nachos!

Expansive menu with some very unique and tasty dishes. Pictured are the nachos which are some of the best I've had. The pizzadilla was a massive entree and was delicious. I'd certainly come back again for another dinner however the service could be improved upon.

Wow...... was in town for a cruise and found this place. The server was AMAZING however she talked me into a DOUBLE shot (ok ok she just asked and I agreed) in my margarita and it was so so good! The single shot one was equally as good. The food was out of this world! If you love authentic and real tasting Mexican food please come here! By far the best place on the boardwalk!!! I'm disappointed because the food on my cruise this week will not be nearly as good as my shrimp tacos

Family tacos - 7 different tacos

Stopped in for some tacos on a Thursday night - plenty of seating available and didn't have to wait. Only 1 bathroom available though, so I did have to wait for that. The service was good at first and then a little slow by the time we finished our meal. We ordered the family tacos which comes with 7 different tacos to try. The shrimp taco and the Baja fish taco were good! The rest of the tacos (chicken, steak, birria, al pastor, and pork) were just ok. Overall, a fun ambiance by the beach with mostly ok tacos. Get the shrimp or fish tacos!

This is a fantastic hole in the wall with great ambiance and even better food…read more Came here to meet up with family I hadn't seen in a long time, and this had great reviews, so we decided to try it. Glad a member of our party called ahead to reserve a table large enough, as there is VERY limited seating inside. Lots of takeout orders, so I get the impression that's what it mostly caters to. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, the food came out at good times, and despite having a limited menu, the quality of the food was SUPERB. I loved the short rib quesadilla, and when I tried part of the Tuna Tower, the tuna was so fresh and well-seasoned/complimented. Chips and salsa had the option of several salsa heats, as well as red vs green salsa - we ordered medium and it really wasn't that hot, but tasted incredible regardless. Cilantro-lime rice was pillowy and aromatic. Overall amazing experience that I would love to come back to if I'm ever visiting family in the area again!

Would absolutely recommend calling ahead if you plan on dining in as there might be 10-12 seats total in the restaurant plus a few bar seats. I had a pork belly quesadilla with crema and guacamole on the side and it was perfectly cooked and savory. Their chips and medium salsa is going to hang on the verde spice and flavor range and weren't for everyone in my party, but I really enjoyed the thicker style chip. Overall, I do with there were a few more shareable options, but overall, great food and service all around

If you're anywhere near Hollywood Beach and find yourself suddenly struck by an overwhelming…read morecraving for top-shelf margaritas and good vibes, skip the chaotic boardwalk crowds, chains, and head straight to Taco Beach Shack. It's tucked just a little bit off the beaten path, but finding it feels like discovering a hidden tropical sanctuary. The outdoor porch is insanely comfy and relaxing, with a super homey, backyard-hangout feel. Add in the live music and the fact that they're open late, and you've basically found the ultimate spot to waste away a perfect evening. Now, let's talk about the real reason we're all here: the margaritas. They are, without exaggeration, superb. Smooth, refreshing, and dangerously easy to drink. We devoured: * Chips & Guac: Fresh, flavorful, and gone in roughly 45 seconds flat. * Chicken Quesadillas: Cheesy, perfectly crispy perfection. * Taco Combo Platter: Absolute perfection on a plate. The carnitas tacos and birria tacos rock. They also have vegan options and their own parking lot! The service was also great- friendly and prompt but no one was rushing us out. It is fine to sit and just relax, eat, drink and listen to the music. The food alone is worth the trip, but the relaxed, laid-back atmosphere makes you never want to leave. Taco Beach Shack is 100% worth the short detour off the main strip--you will thank me!

I have been here 5 or 5 times over the months and it's fantastic every time. If a table is open…read morethey let you have it. They are friendly. Outside ambiance is excellent. Festive vibe. I think the food is good. Not great. Not fully "authentic". But it's good. Every taco is good. Rice is meh. Beans are decent. Salsas are decent (you have to ask for them). It's kind of a fiesta place near the beach. It's not a Michelin star restaurant. Have proper expectations and this place is awesome. The prices are low, and the drinks are strong depending on your server. It's easy, fun, cheap, and Mexican inspired. In general Florida doesn't have amazing Mexican food, and taco beach shack holds its own just fine.
