I'm not a fan of automated car washes but if you're lucky you might catch a good one. Unfortunately this was not my experience here. This is the closest car wash to my house so if I do go here it's because I absolutely don't feel like washing my car. Well getting to the point my car never gets cleaned correctly when I do come here. The wheels are always left with dirt on them and bugs still on the front of car. The company should change the name to Streakys instead of Squeakys because I went for a car wash yesterday and my car was still dirty. I'm not sure if the selections on the machine where you choose the type of car wash actually work or not. I selected the wash with the wax shine but my car wasn't waxy or shiny. Just dirty. I wanted to go back and ask to run my car through the machine again but I couldn't find any customer service ppl there to witness how dirty my car was after it had been "washed." The best thing about this place is the use of the free vacuums (if they're working) and you can put air in your tires for free as well. They have good cleaning supplies if you do it yourself. The detail isn't very good unless you watch them and tell them what to do. Took my brand new car in yesterday March 19 2024 and it came out with some kind of sticky spots and soap scum that they could not get off telling me that was nothing at all they could do. It was only on the passenger side doors and windows. The cost for this F-up was 30.00. Awesome experience. My first time using Squeakys car wash and I was pretty impressed. I love a clean car so I'm pretty particular when it comes to car washes but Squeakys met my standards. I loved all the fun lights inside the car wash and appreciated the different vacuum nozzles/ air hose/ towels/ and spray in the detailing area. Worst service in Gwinnett. I am very very disappointed. I signed up on full service package Oct 23, 2021 and sticker was not available. Every time I go I have to wait at gate, and wait, and wait. Help button is "NO HELP BUTTON", or "IGNORE HIM!" I just tried again today Saturday 12 Feb at 11:00, I literally had cars behind me honking because the sales slip would not actuate the system. None of their attendants were there or came out, finally once they all backed up some I could drive over the cones instead of through the control arm. I should get a refund at the least. Here is what happened to my daughter: Okay guys. If at all possible, don't use Squeaky's Car Wash on Buford HWY. After entering the lane with all four tires perfectly fine, I get an alert on my center instrument telling me that I have a flat tire. ON BRAND NEW TIRES. How?! Turns out, the wash lane ripped my valve stem AND tire pressure sensor completely out of my tire -- but because I have "aftermarket" wheels and tires, the wash refuses to help with any expenses. Luckily, it's not expensive. But a $150~ repair bill lost them a monthly membership. If you have any aftermarket parts, take precaution using their wash. I am sending corporate an email (although I doubt it'll do anything) & wanted all of my modified friends to be aware of this before using them any longer. With how many modified car communities, car meet clubs and whatnot I'm in...I have too many friends who use their wash that need to be advised to go literally anywhere else. $150~ repair bill later -- we'll be fixed up, no thanks to Squeaky's Car Wash. read more

On my last visit I'm not sure what oil was put in my car but it didn't last long and my check engine came on. I took it to the shop and they asked when's the last time I got my oil change? And said I've been driving with no oil. I came back and asked to speak with the boss, he was mean/rude and wouldn't take any responsibility or accountability. Tried calling several times to get pricing and schedule a detail. Every time no answer. Paid nearly $100 for a wash and professional detail and told them NOT to put anything on the vented leather seats. They coated them with some greasy substance that gets all over Everything including your clothes! Half of the interior was wiped down and other parts weren't even touched. Pelican Bay Car Wash is located directly in front of the Sam's Club right off of Buford Dr. We were getting ready to sell my wife's car so I needed a good cleaning. I did some scouring on the internet and in between Nextdoor and Google reviews, I landed on this location. As you pull in, the selection and payment process of which kind of car wash you would like is pretty easy. I've been to a car wash like this before but the other one I've been so, the worker drives the car into the car wash but this, you put your car in neutral and drive in yourself. The waiting area has plenty to keep you busy such as TV's, massage chairs, a couple of arcade games, etc. If you want to wait outside, feel free to sit on 1 of the several rocking chairs and enjoy if the weather is nice. The cleaning job on the outside was nice. The interior cleaning was not as thorough as I would like considering it took them awhile to get the car done. I highly recommend this car wash if you live in the area. They are always friendly and respectful. Even on the weekends, when it's very busy, the people are always great. If you don't already have a monthly pass, you should get one. Most of the time I use the DIY dry and vacuum service. When I have used the full service, it has been a good experience as well. "DO NOT RECOMMEND" I had brought my Ram TRX in for a typical wash in May and the car wash malfunctioned. The front roller was smashing into the front of the truck as I was being drug through the wash. Then the car behind me smashed into the my back end. No one was watching the car wash and it ultimately damaged the front of the truck breaking the headlight, grill, back bumper and added scratches to the fender flares. They were "sorry" and wanted to help but wouldn't offer their insurance. The damages ended up being almost 4k and they told me to take a hike. That's to much they said. This car wash is next to perfect. I've had a fast past for the last two years. It's in a really convenient location, if you're a Sams Club member you can shop and get gas all in the same parking lot. The vacuums here are really good, non of that light suction you get at alot of places, the air compressor is a plus it gets the dirt and dust out of those hard to get to places, and the guys are really good about getting you through the wash. If there was a wishlist for this car wash it would be that they put in a prewash tire station, the auto wash doesn't do a great job cleaning the rims, so I have to go back over them. The other item would be that they had the straight vaccum nozzles for everyone to use. For the most part I'll be a long time customer here. read more

The big hairy bearded white guy that runs the oil change service screwed up my daughters car after changing the oil and it leaked out in large puddles all over my oil free driveway. When I brought this to his attention he refused to do anything for me so I threatened to sew him and he agreed and then he encouraged me to do so but kept refusing to give me his last name, he just said his name was Charles. Afterwords I had to pay out of pocket $150 for a pressure washing to remove the oil. He stated that it was not his fault because the damage was done before he did the oil change but I think he was lying sense he didn't bring this to my attention when I was paying him for the service. read more

I've heard good things about this place so I wanted to give it a try. Sadly, as I went in to get my subscription, no one was there to assist me. I went to 5 different people asking where I could get someone to give me the sticker, all they did was point me in a direction, "The office." But no one was there. I walked around for 10-15 minutes with no help. I left and messaged them to cancel my subscription but my card is still being charged after 2 months. I apologize if it was only for that day but first impressions matter when you're a place of business. My BRAND new car was damaged by this car wash. I took my vehicle to this car wash at dusk on a Monday evening and noticed the damage on a Wednesday morning and called immediately. It took three days for the Manager Chris to even return my call. He spoke to the owners and they had every excuse not to take responsibility for the damage to my new car. If your car is damaged in this wash the owners will NOT take responsibility for the damage. The owners refused to even speak with me. I've seen them working on reopening this location as a car wash the last few months, and was excited to finally get to try them today. If you live in the area, you know the only other car washes close by are on 20 down by Windermere or on the east side of 85, neither convenient. Pelican Bay did not disappoint. Brand new facility, all shiny and new. They've totally redone the place, seems like all new equipment from the last car wash that inhabited this space. Hey that rhymed. New ownership too, so if you didn't love it before, it's definitely worth a shot now. $25 for full service wash, including hot wax & shine, RainX, tire shine and hand interior/exterior detailing. I don't mind paying the money for a job well done, and these guys were great! They also offer self service bays to vacuum yourself and unlimited wash plans, and a basic exterior drive thru for 6 bucks. Nice guys, worked quickly but not "rushing through," even on my boring Chevy Equinox. Tipped them $3 for their attention to detail after checking out the finished work, and I suggest that others tip as well! A good car pampering is hard to find. read more

Everyone outside was pleasant and working hard. Once in the waiting room it was terrible. The chairs are all way too small. The only ones comfortable looking you had to pay for a massage. The man working there was very unfriendly. Glad to get my truck back and leave. Not to mention there wasonly 2 of us waiting and maybe 2 cars outside. No heat was on in the building, Squeaky charges a fee to use the ATM machine to get tip money, bathroom was locked with convenient note "if locked it's occupied"...yet no one ever came out of bathroom, had to step over trash to get to car, when you come out of wash no directive of what lane you need to go in, whole place is not inviting to come back, and the guy behind the counter really didn't seem interested when I expressed the concerns. this place needs to be shut down. it's poorly run by a manager who is incompetent. i purchased an athletic sponsorship card from my highschool this past summer (2023) and it expires 2024. Squeaky's business is listed as a place for a discount. i show the manager the card after walking around for 10 minutes looking for an employee... to then find one sitting down inside eating. then i get told that they haven't done the sponsorship cards in years... even though i purchased this card in the summer and the businesses name and location is on it. and then got told to leave if i didn't stop running my mouth by the manger. not good customer service if you ask me. i hope the owners sees this and educates his employees on how to speak to customers. also don't act as if you're doing the customer a favor when you are simply fulfilling an agreement your business made with a local high schools athletic program... and then lie about it. manager needs to be fired bottom line. read more

Drove my car here for the first time and I live about 15 miles away. While my car was being detailed, the detailer came over and said I had a flat tire. I walked over and my back left tire was slashed. About a 1-2 inch slash. The manager came over and asked if I drove in with the flat tire. Said he couldn't do anything and that it couldn't have happened in their car wash because they wash 1000's of vehicles. I ended up having to pay full price for the car wash and for a new tire. Never once did the owner come out to talk. When I got to Sams Club next door to replace my tire, the mechanics said I was not the first to say this happened to them from the same wash. I have all my records and the few times I went to have it cancelled, they've always told me to do it online. My emails go IGNORED. I have tried to contact a manager and NOBODY can help. The owner's never there, his name is James and I never get an opportunity to rectify this issue with James. I CANNOT RECOMMEND this place, since the new owner took over. It's not a good business and you should take your business somewhere else. I am also reporthing this to the Better Business Bureau. read more

We signed three vehicles up for the monthly plan and canceled all of these plans on their website over two months ago. We are still being charged each month on the 1st. I have attempted to reach out on several levels, including a certified letter to no avail. I've been to this car wash multiple times and gotten an average car wash. I've had to remind them to move my booster seat and vacuum under the seats which should be a part of their normal process. My issue today was that they did remove a booster seat BUT didn't replace it. Unfortunately I did not discover it was missing until I went to pick up my child. When I returned to retrieve the booster seat it was soaking wet from being left out and I was provided no apology from the manager who brought it out to me.
