Sierra Nevada's estimate was $450 or $45/hr for 10 hours (3 people cleaning) I wanted a full deep clean of entire downstairs and 2 full bathrooms upstairs. The other company estimate was $267, and for what I wanted (DEEP CLEAN) that seemed too low. We hired Sierra Nevada. And when I say "we" I mean my husband. This was a gift for me from him because he just had major surgery and I tore my hip labram 1 week before, I am also raising my 9 month old grandson. I have a lot on my plate and my husband was trying to clear a big part off of it. I was who they met at the door and I thought I would give them extra explanation to what I meant for a "DEEP CLEAN" but they literally stared at me and asked "do you need anything" Looking back that was my moment to explain to them exactly what I wanted but in the moment I felt like I was unwanted (This is a product of my autism, and not their fault in anyway) I told the staff that if they had questions where rhey could find me and they started cleaning. They were very prompt and arrived at their exact scheduled time of 9am (earlier actually to unload their equipment) and I was impressed. They cleaned until 12:30pm and checked in with Jeff before they left. Nothing was ever really said to me, and maybe this was the downfall because I usually ask many questions but I was leaving this all tk my husband, as I said this was a gift from him and I shouldn't have to interfere. My precursory walk around my home was impressive, the main things I had on my list were cleaned...spare bathroom shower was perfection. All the kitchen appliances were spotless. My heart felt really good. During this time I was also spending time in bed recovering from a serious injury to my hip, but slowly I was using the spaces cleaned by Sierra Nevada House Cleaning and noticing how much was missed. But I thought I was nitpicking. The most concerning and unusual thing was when I used my garbage disposal and found 3 little weird chunks of glass. I honesrly couldnt figure out where they came from. Until I used my microwave several days later and realized there was an inch chunk missing from the plate. That's when I asked my husband to reach out. I didn't know the policy was to reach out in a certain amount of time. So we passed that and there is nothing this company can do to help us. Which is...ok, fine. So basically we paid $450 (plus $75 tip) for 3 cleaners from 9am-12:30pm to clean 650sqft (2.5 baths, kitchen/dining room, living room, stairway/hallway) They broke part of our microwave, left huge scuff marks on our front door and above our cabinets, left a sticky brown stain next to the main bathroom toilet, did not clean 2/3 of the kitchen counter tops, and left the walls and stair banister untouched. When my husband reached out, Jocelyn let him know that he had not asked for the "EXTRA DEEP CLEAN" and let me just say this man had no idea there was a different level to the deep clean. He was offered a cleaning, deep clean, or move out clean. What do you think this man chose with his best knowledge and love in his heart? That's right...deep clean. So...this was a very long way to say don't use this service. I was excited and hopeful and happy to pay premium to walk downstairs and feel like my home is as clean as the day I moved in. Instead they spent tons of time organizing areas that I didn't want touched and left the banister and walls dirty and broke my microwave.

We do stay in an apartment complex so I can understand. I do feel as though if you are having trouble navigating the complex them giving the client a heads up so they know you are there and that you are trying to find the place could have saved some time. The cleaner did a great job cleaning the apartment and refrigerator and even took out the trash at the end which was super nice. Outside of being a little late I would definitely try them again. I do feel like the price did reflect the work that was done and the interaction with the cleaner was great.

I am in my 70s and recovering from rotator cuff surgery so couldn't clean the house myself. I made this appt 1MONTH IN ADVANCE because I had people coming to my house the day after the cleaning. My cleaning was a 2pm The day of the cleaning I received a phone message at 11:58am that the cleaning crew would be 30 minutes late as they were short staffed. I called them at 2pm and asked if they were still going to come at 2:30. They responded they were short staffed and would be here closer to 3 pm. I called at 3pm and asked if they were on target to come clean my house soon. Again, I was told they were short staffed and they were "on their way now" and would be there a little after 4pm. At 5:30 pm I received a call but missed it because I was upstairs cleaning a bathroom myself. At 6 pm I called the company again and was told they had a horrible day because of being short staffed and were just trying to take care of their clients. I thought I was a client. They stated the crew "was just down the street and would be there shortly". I responded by telling them they were fired. I spent the rest of the evening cleaning my house for my guests the next day at great pain to my shoulder. I understand things happen. I am sorry they were short staffed. I tried to be accommodating. But they didn't bother to call me for over 5 hours with a status update. And the status updates I got when I called were promises they didn't intent to keep. That is unforgiveable and unprofessional. They should have kept me in constant update mode so we could have made adjustments (next day? etc) but no....I felt they were just blowing me off. To add insult to injury. My husband and I had paid tickets to an event that night. Because of their lack of updates and no phone calls until too late, I had to cancel my attendance at great cost to me and my husband went alone while I cleaned my house. So I had to do the work and I lost money in the long run. This company may be good cleaners but they are unprofessional and do not care about their clients. I am now looking for a new company to clean my house while I heal from my surgery.
