I do not recommend using Squeaky Clean by Shelly Bean for a deep cleaning before selling a house. Shelly gave a quote for the work to be done in 2.5 hours but once the women came and we're very slow, then Shelly kept upping the amount of time (and price) to 4 hours. The only work needing to be done was 1 bathroom, the kitchen (cabinets, floor, counters, fridge, and stove), 1 room to be vacuumed, and the walls to be wiped down. The house had no furniture in it to be cleaned and they were told NOT to clean the hardwood floors nor to do the windows which they ended up doing against my instructions and that cost me an extra $120! Ridiculous! The kitchen cabinets near the stove still had grease on them. Streaks were left on the stainless steel fridge. There were stains left on the walls from the cleaner they used. I ended up having to take the rest of the day off from work so I could spend 5 hours cleaning after they left. Maybe these ladies do a better job with weekly house cleanings but for deep move in or move out cleanings, I do NOT recommend them! It was a waste of $500 especially because of having to do the work myself after they didn't do the job in the first place! read more

Wow, I've used other professional cleaning services in the past, but Squeaky Clean By Shelly Bean is by far the best service I've used so far! Pricing was upfront and honest. Scheduling was quick and easy. Communication throughout was great. I used their service for a move out cleaning and everything went smoothly. When the cleaners arrived, I went over a few things with them and they quickly got started. I came back, place smelled clean, and was definitely clean! Great service, I definitely recommend! read more

We recently hired Squeaky Clean by Shelly Bean for a deep cleaning service before moving into our new home. Unfortunately, the results were extremely disappointing. Despite paying a significant amount for the service, our house was left dirty and dusty. The cleaners' lack of attention to detail was evident, and even during the walk-through, we witnessed a comical incident where the cleaner's finger was covered in dust. I would not recommend this company and suggest looking for an alternative cleaning company. Feel free to look at the attached pictures. I took a paper towel and got all this dust by simply opening up a drawer and using spray. Clearly none of these drawers were even opened during the "deep clean." read more

I was very clear with Tod about what I needed and he said he understood and could accommodate. I explained that we had recently had a complete home remodel finished. We needed the new vinyl plank flooring, which makes up 90% of the house, thoroughly cleaned. We also needed everything dusted and the windows cleaned. 4 hours and $480 later the floors looked the same and the windows weren't even cleaned. I was told that I would have to hire someone to come in and buff the floors to get the drywall dust of since the swiffer wet pads the provided the cleaning crew couldn't do it. No Tod, you just needed to provide your cleaning crew with a mop and bucket, as my husband and I have them to get the job done and the floors are now clean. It took a little elbow grease but it worked. As we did not require the bathrooms or kitchen to be cleaned, I still can't wrap my head around what we paid $480 for. read more

Did a great job cleaning my condominium. I mentioned the most important areas I wanted cleaned and was pleased with the results.

They showed up in mask, punctual and cleaned the place pretty neat. They made adjustments to work with my schedule since it was a last minute call read more

I've been a client of Squeaky Clean for a full decade. I'd bounced around to various services prior, where my experience was typically: a great cleaning the first time or two but declining quality thereafter. With Squeaky Clean -- run by Shelley and Tod -- we've never had that problem, or any problem. In fact, over time the teams get to know my home and where I'm most mindful. I've found that the quality actually improves over time. The crews seem stable, and the folks coming into my home are friendly, kind and professional. They really want to do a great job for your home and take pride in their work. Shelley and Tod run the scheduling and keep my preferred day/time on track. Certainly there are times they need to rearrange things but they always reach out to find a good replacement time for me. I have recommended this service to many folks over the years! In fact, my mom used their service for as long as I did, until she passed last year. Shelley reached out to me when she heard the news, to personally offer her condolences. This is a class act, all the way around. And they're licensed and insured -- a mandatory, in my book. read more

The crew came to my house today when I was at work, and I just got home. HOLY COW! These ladies went above and beyond! I keep walking from room to room, in amazement. I honestly feel like I'm walking through a model home. Aside from everything shining, they even organized, and put away a few things (I had tossed some clean sheets on a bed and not made it, BOOM, the bed was made... for example) I was worried for a minute, as the owner and I had talked on the phone a few times last week, and he fully explained the hourly costs to me. I thought, for sure they had been here at least 3 hours. Nope. And hour and 50 minutes. He even took off ten minutes of that to allow time for them to get set up. Can't compare them to anyone else, as I haven't hired anyone before, but I'm SO GLAD that I hired these guys. Thinking about buying gift certificates as Christmas presents this year. read more

Squeaky Clean has been great! I started the service about 6 months ago and I only wish I had started earlier! I have biweekly cleaning and it's been terrific. My son and I work remote for the most part, and in zoom meetings most of every day, it's great to rely on SC to take this off my plate. read more

I hired Squeaky Clean by Shelly Bean to clean my new place before I moved in, my old place after I moved out, and since they did such a great job of both - I now have them for ongoing cleaning services. They arrived on time, brought all supplies, and went above and beyond - continuing to impress as they now come on a regular basis. Could not be more pleased with their services, and would recommend to anyone. I mean the stove alone on the move out - just like new!! After 5 years of cooking done on it!! They are great and I am lucky to have found them! read more

Saw one of their cleaning vehicles on my way to work and decided to check them out online as we needed to hire a cleaner for an apartment move out! Tod promptly responded to my email and explained the process/prices. The girls showed up on time and were very nice. The lead girl called me a few times for updates and that was appreciated! When I arrived to pay, I was blown away by their work. They were very detail oriented and didn't leave one corner untouched. If we ever need a cleaning service again, I will keep them in mind. read more

My name is Sharon Harding with Re/Max Destiny on Nerge Rd in Elk Grove Village. For many years I have helped sellers prepare their properties to go on the market for sale and for rent. Over the years I have hired many cleaning companies for my clients. This summer I hired Squeaky Clean by Shelly Bean to thoroughly clean a vacant property that I had just listed for sale in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. I called and spoke with Tod, who explained how their cleaning company works. He was professional, friendly, and organized. The two cleaning ladies that he sent to the property were prompt, on time, and came with all the necessary cleaning supplies in their vehicle. One of the friendly ladies spent 4 hours deep cleaning the kitchen appliances, counters, sink, cabinets, flooring. The other cleaning lady spent the four hours cleaning the two bathrooms and the three bedrooms. They even worked on other areas that need extra attention. I would highly recommend SCBSB for cleaning. The property looks and smells fresh and clean. I will refer this cleaning company to my other clients who need to spruce up their homes to list for sale or for rent. I really appreciate how hard these two cleaning ladies worked at this property to make it easier to sell! Read our review guidelines read more

I love Squeaky Clean, an amazing company. I called for an estimate for a very easy clean. They couldn't have done a better job, the price was very fair and they couldn't have been more accommodating. If I lived closer I would hire them for regular cleaning read more

The team did an excellent job on our home. We're preparing to sell and we needed the works to get ready for staging- doors, windows, baseboards... all that fun stuff. They did a really great job for a fair price. The house is spotless! If we were sticking around the area, I'd definitely hire them again. read more

I live out of town and have a family home that we visit 3-4 times per year. It was our turn to have it cleaned so I contacted Squeaky Clean by Shelly Bean at the last minute. I needed a certain day and Tod Bean made it happen. The girls came before their assigned time and I showed them around. They went right to work! They did a phenomenal job. Seriously PHENOMENAL! The light bulbs on my chandelier were even cleaned! I have had services before (I won't mention name of the others)! I will most definitely contact them again! Thank you Tod for all your efforts! read more

I am giving one star because you cannot give no stars and I want to review this company . Originally I spoke with Shelly to get an estimate and she told me her brother does the estimating. She told me they charge $85 an hour and I found that hard to believe. The owner Todd just called me to say that he heard I was taken aback by that price . I assured him that I was very taken aback! He told me that he is insured and bonded and makes very little money. He then went on to say that I must not care whom I let in my home if I would go with anyone else but a bonded company . He was beyond rude and arrogant. Good luck squeaky clean . I will be marketing for you! read more

I'm not a Yelpper and I never post bad reviews BUT This needed to be said! I found this company on Home Advisors, they had great reviews so I thought I would give them a try. My house is not dirty and its a town home. I was told as first time customer it was 2 ladies and an hourly rate of $42.50 per lady. I said I can't do more than 1- 1/2 hours. 3 ladies show up and I was charged for all of them! They were there for exactly 1 hour and 20 mins I was charged $170.00. My husband was really mad and called ,Todd the owner told him that the 3rd lady was scheduled for another job but came along and came in to help. I never approved this 3rd person.I didn't think I would be charged either. The job they did was just OK! Nothing extraordinary! Get a written estimate from these people cause as a first time customer they will take advantage of you! Plus they offer $10.00 off your first visit and the lady said she didn't know and I had to pay the whole amount. Really??? read more

They did a great job cleaning considering they only had two hours to clean. Very fast. Almost more done than another company with twice as many people and hours. Also, they were very kind when I came back to the house. There still was lots of dust under dresser, bed, and on fans, as well as caked on food on kitchen floor and unclean cabinets. This wasn't the issue for me. The issue is that when I talked with the owner, wanting them to work only two hours, she said it may not be exactly two hours. I said, how do I know how much to pay, since I don't know how long they'll work. We came up with the solution of me coming home from work during my lunch break to find out how long they worked and pay then. Another call to confirm appointment, he said the same thing -- saying they won't drop there dusters/dustpans in the middle of cleaning at 2 hours. I requested 30 min notification before completing. The notified 25 minutes, but apparently, they finished 20 minutes after contact and when I arrived, told me their bosses told them to stop exactly at 2 hours. So, they waited on the front porch, instead of cleaning until I returned and charged me for waiting. It would've been fine if the owners just told me in the first place that I can leave a check because they will stop at exactly 2 hours. Or, It would've been fine also if they worked the extra minutes and I paid them for working, instead of waiting. The miscommunication cost me an hour of driving from work and an extra $22 which could've gone towards getting the extra cleaning done that wasn't. read more

Highly recommended company! I phoned yesterday to set up an appointment, the ladies were out today (early!). The women are friendly, professional and WOW ... did they ever do a great job on my home! I have been using their cleaning service for the past two years. All of their staff are kind, accommodating, honest and thorough. I contacted Squeaky Clean about a move-out cleaning. They were very responsive, even when I delayed in calling back to schedule service. When I did finally get back to them, they managed to fit me in the very next day. They charged a flat rate per person, per hour for a move-out cleaning. They were punctual, did a fantastic job, and even have us considering a weekly upkeep service until we're able to sell our house. We have two dogs, four kids, and not enough time. The house hasn't looked this clean since we moved in! read more

Emailed for an eatimate on Wednesday via their website and never received anything as of Saturday.

I was pretty happy with the fact that Shelly responded to me on Sunday. Since I was not able to be at the property, and she doesn't know how dirty the property is, we agree to do 4 people hours of cleaning for $170. The day that cleaning got done, I got a voicemail (which I still have) saying that "they (the cleaning crews) were able to...everything cleaned" except some things in the refrigerator. I was please to hear the result, until I saw the property. Some of the ducts were still filled with dust, and the bathtub wall was still dirty. The side of the oven was dirty also. I called but was not able to go anywhere. I found Shelly to be a very professional person, but not her partner. I think Shelly should be the only one who should be on the phone, if growing the business is important. It looks like I'm not the only one who feels that way. read more

I have been using Squeaky Clean by Shelly Bean every other week for several months now. I started with one team that did an excellent job. After the holidays, they were no longer with the Company, but the new team has done a very good job as well. They are extremely responsive when I haven't been satisfied with something. Right before Christmas, I had a problem with some work that a trainee had done (I was asked ahead of time for permission to send her). Todd sent a crew back to fix the situation and told me he wanted to make sure the house was the way I wanted it for Christmas. Overall, they are very conscientious and eager to please. read more

With me, first impressions go a long way in determining whether or not I will do business with a company. And I was impressed with the speed at which Todd responded to my request for a quote. He was friendly, professional and definitely not pushy. The project we had is not in this company's normal work coverage area, and we decided to go with someone else closer to home. If their area expands, I would definitely consider them again. read more
