I called Janelle from Simple Spaces on a Friday to get a quote for a move-out cleaning. As of the following Monday at 2pm I hadn't heard back, so I decided to call again should my message have been lost. When I called back I reached Janelle and she said, "Oh, is this so-and-so, in XXX? Oh, yeah, unfortunately I don't go to your area" Ok, so I guess she didn't want to bother calling someone back who is not in her service area. Ok, fine, but here are my issues: A. This company does not list a service area on their website or on Angie's List where they're also listed. I could have saved a little time had that info been posted. B. After telling me she doesn't service the suburbs, she proceeded to ask when I needed a crew and I told her anytime after Friday and she said, "I wouldn't be able to get a crew there on Friday." She just told me that she doesn't service my area, but then asks when I need someone? As though she might consider coming to my area? Also, I told her anytime AFTER Friday and she said she couldn't get a crew to me ON Friday, even though I said anytime after Friday. Next... Why is it so hard to find a good highly rated house cleaning service in the Northwest suburbs!? I called three high rated cleaning companies for a quote (one was this company, previously named Simple Spaces) and only one called me back. I guess business is booming, so much so that no one needs additional business. If I'm outside of your service area, then just tell me so I don't waste my time calling you back. We've used them in our Apartment, and now in our new home, and the service is fantastic. Everything ends up spotless, and I really appreciate the green cleaning supplies that they use. Janelle has always been responsive to me, and very willing to work with my availability. I work from home, so scheduling can be a challenge, but her team always gives me a head's up when they are coming by so I can decide if I want to head out to lunch or something to not be in their way. Janelle's rates also seem to be more affordable than some other options we looked at. They definitely fit into our budget and we couldn't be more pleased. I highly recommend Simple Spaces.

So, my story is that I am a single home owner and I have a lot of little to-do's and I want 1 single source as my go-to. I was skeptical that BDK would actually want to take on my small jobs and to my surprise, Brad and I were able to work out a pricing and work arrangement that will allow me to get things done on my budget and timeline. I am impressed with Brad and his business acumen, and while I have not had any work done yet, I trust that all will go well and that I will update my review to 5 stars. You know, with all the online resources it is actually harder than ever to find a contractor who is willing to do little things. I have emailed and talked to a half dozen contractors who want to charge a lot for minimal jobs. Finding a contractor of quality whom I can trust is a big undertaking, so I feel so good going into this relationship with BDK.

They sent two cleaners for 1.5 hours and they turned a dirty 2bed/2bath condo into a sparkling clean masterpiece. They wiped down the inside and outside of all cabinets, did the fans and cleaned out the refrigerator for NO Extra Cost! I called other services that want to nickel and dime me on those requests. Laura was so responsive when I reached out to learn more about the services and get an estimate. She is trustworthy and a great communicator, which makes me feel great about giving her team access to my home when I'm not there. The service provided was awesome. I'm not sure the kitchen floor has ever been that clean and they even went so far as to clean out my toaster oven!!
