Kate helps me with anything I need. She cleans the house thoroughly, helps with laundry, changes my sheets. I love Maid Guru.

I started services with Maid Guru last month with an initial deep cleaning and have since signed up for monthly service. Kate does an amazing job. She is honest, trustworthy, thorough, and friendly, and her work is excellent every time. She is also incredibly patient working around my busy home while I work from home and homeschool my two youngest kids, with three people and two cats underfoot. Kate is awesome. I will give Maid Guru a plus on communicating with the owner or manager. She was very pleasant and very responsive. However, we purchased a deep clean for over $200 and what we got did not meet our expectations. Several times we had to contact the manager to complain about something not being done. When we purchased a deep clean, we thought the house would be rid of all dust balls and dirt. Unfortunately, the service that was provided is not worth $244. The service/cleaning we got basically met the standards of our monthly housecleaner who charges $125. I think we will stick with her. I would not recommend this company for deep cleaning services. read more

missed out on deep cleaning request. cleaning lady just went around furnitures without cleaning under furnitures. i specifically ask wall boarder cleaning and as i have said, did not move any garbage can to clean corners of floors. Cooking range grills were left uncleaned. inside microwave was not cleaned. read more

The first cleaning was very good. I was happy with the amount of time spent in my house and I was happy with the cleaning. The second time, I had a work meeting and asked them to give me a heads up so I could arrange my work schedule to let them in. I was scheduled at 1 and they confirmed 1, but at 12:15 the cleaners arrived with no notice and I had to interrupt my work meeting to let them in. This time, they were rushed and left before I had a chance to look over everything. What I found was a half-cleaned house. The basement floor wasn't cleaned, there was still dirt on it, the basement table wasn't wiped down as there was still a drink circle on it, and there was still a clump of hair in the basement shower and dirt on the bathroom floor. My primary bathtub was not wiped down. None of the garbage can liners were replaced in the entire house and the body soap in the primary shower must have fallen because it was a new bottle and was nearly empty. They did not vacuum the corners of the stairs (two flights) and I found a chard of glass still there from when my husband broke a vase and thought he cleaned it up. The kitchen table had not been wiped down and there were still spots of food that required elbow grease to remove. I sent pictures of the areas of concern and as a one-time courtesy they took 10% off the bill. I would have preferred that they came back and cleaned what wasn't cleaned, but that wasn't an option that was offered. My husband and I ended up cleaning all of the non-bathroom areas before we hosted Christmas. I would say that if you use this company, make sure to inspect everything after because once they leave, it won't get fixed. read more

I previously wrote a poor review about Maid Guru due to the poor leadership from former owner. Since David & Dayana have taken over, the made the effort to write the wrong from the previous owner, and send someone over rectify the situation. The new cleaning person came over and did a much better job. She walked through the apartment with me, we pointed out key areas, and she delivered on them once I had come back. David & Dayana have been very responsive overall and I believe Maid Guru is going to provide better service to their customers going forward. read more

DO NOT HIRE. The maid that showed up did not provide a "deep clean" as requested. Skipped rooms. She asked to use my vacuum cleaner upon arrival and made a comment that we had the same vacuum but mine was much newer and hers had duct tape on it. Long story short after she left I discovered she had taken my vacuum cleaner and left hers. The first call into the company they spoke to the maid and she said she didn't use my vacuum at all. Then I got an email stating they could explain how the duct tape got on my vacuum... another email turned into she switched those hoses on the vacuums and forgot to switch them back. The maid is a thief. The company was unwilling to replace the vacuum and was trying to send her back to my house! AND unwilling to compensate for such poor customer service. She also broke my dishwasher, but according to the company it must be a malfunction with my appliance. read more

I hired The Maid Guru for a move-in cleanup at a rental I own. The place was left filthy. The cabinets are still filthy as are the baseboard, the outside of the appliances, the laundry tub, the floors weren't even very clean. The vents, baseboards and walls were filthy. I would not hire them. I called with no satisfaction and I paid them a lot! read more

We had the Maid Guru do a move in deep clean and I would not recommend. They arrived 90 minutes late. They threw away the mail that we just received even after clarifying through text that it should not be touched. We moved in the next day after the cleaning service and it is still dirty! The baseboards weren't touched and there is still dust everywhere. Not really sure what we got for the $305 we paid. Really disappointed. read more

Hired this company to do a move out cleaning of our town house. We already replaced with all brand new appliances, countertops - so no need to clean them. Complete waste of money and time. Bathtubs were left looking dirty, kitchen cabinets are sticky. Patio glass doors were just as dirty before and after. I had to scrub the tubs after they left. I used some Barkeepers friend and CLR, scrubbed hard and got them looking totally white. My husband cleaned the patio glass doors. So much for hiring cleaning people to clean...I guess they just wipe the surface for $200, not actually scrub or clean. STAY AWAY. read more

Booked with them for a cleaning of my 2bed 1 bath condo. Two young girls arrived and did not even introduce themselves. I told them upfront that I wanted to forgo cleaning the second bedroom because I rather just have a deeper clean of the other rooms. They got to work, the one asked me if I minded if she Play some music from her phone, Which of course I did not, But I thought it was nice that they asked. They let me know when they were finished and I thanked them as they cleaned everything up and left. As the day went on I noticed several areas that were not dusted or cleaned. Pretty much anything that was above eye level or below the waist was not touched. I found shelves not done, armoires, tables, etc. This was extremely frustrating because according to their website they pride themselves on customer service. This was not a way to make a good first impression. I did contact the maid guru and was again told that they pride themselves on customer service and could send somebody out Monday morning or give me $25 off my next cleaning service. I respectfully declined because I was not available Monday morning nor was I wanting to have them come back after a poor first impression. Nobody should have to pay full price for a service only to go back and finish the job themselves. I would not recommend this company. read more
