It is on the cozy smaller size but the play activities are all nicely spaced out. I went here on a weekday and it wasn't too packed. The children museum provides indoor and outdoor play options. They have a small section for kids under two where they get to crawl, climb and play with balls. *shoes off* For indoor they have the magna-tiles table, chalk board, reading area, pretend grocery store and ranger lookout, For outdoor they have a big water table; soft foam building blocks, a garden and a dirt excavation section. They do have a handwashing station outside so I appreciate that after the messy play. I also love the art installation, it's big colorful bugs and insects. Would recommend you checking it out.

She made everything feel easy and seamless, and truly helped create such a special, memorable day for my daughter and her friends. The setup and decor were beautiful, and everything was ready to go when we arrived, which made a big difference when hosting a group of excited kids! The space itself is amazing, with so many engaging, hands-on activities for a wide range of ages (definitely up to around 10). The kids were entertained the entire time. Even better, so many of the parents were raving about the experience and how much their kids loved it, which says a lot. Highly recommend hosting a party here if you're looking for something fun, interactive, and well-organized. We had the best time!

Such a FUN EXPERIENCE playing bubble soccer with some of my favorite buddies for my bachelor's…read moreparty. Our group reserved and permitted a field at the park in Liberty Station with the City. We opted for 90 minutes. Each match lasts five minutes long. However, that five minutes feels like a ten. In between, you can take as much breaks as you want. I think we played approximately six matches, and we were all ready to call it quits at the end. The bubble soccer is heavier than it looks. There is only way to put it on and running around with these can be extremely tiring. I HIGHLY SUGGEST bringing GLOVES to prevent burns on your knuckles. When you get knocked out, the impact of the inner wall rubs against your skin and multiple hits can lead to skin scrape. We played with a large and regular soccer balls. Scoring was easier with the normal sized ball. The goal post is similar to kiddie goal posts, so you cannot hit it high or wide angles. I highly recommend this experience with a large group.

We had a group event set up on a field in the Clairemont area. I've seen photos of bubble soccer…read morebefore but had never tried it so the experience was new for me. There were enough bubbles to play five-on-five so we rotated people with two sitting out each game. The "referee" went over the rules and brought three different sizes of soccer balls. It was the red team vs the blue team so off we went with a large inflatable sack ball. I wore workout pants for the games because I didn't want to scrape up my knees when I tumbled on the grass (which happened three times). I quickly found out that even on a 70 degree day, you get hot and sweaty really fast inside one of these bubbles. They acted like a heat sink with the way the bubble absorbed the sunlight. I did bring a water bottle but forgot to bring a sweat towel which I really needed. Every time two goals were scored, we all took a break in the shade. I think our group ended up playing five games over the rental time of one hour. I would highly recommend bubble soccer for a team building activity or a birthday party celebration. The optimal time of the year would be during the winter season in SD as one can get dehydrated and tired rapidly if you play in warm weather.

The mini golf is different. It is neon glow style and you can play with 3-D glasses but we didn't play with them. There are 9 holes with the last one being a ball collector so make sure you only use this when you are done. We may have played through a few times to get our moneys worth. Most of the games are a dollar or more per play which is hard for me as I am older and remember when games were a lot less but those are the times. We still had fun and will likely be back. We got a few tickets, around 2,000 but as typically we were not able to get much with our tickets. They do have a lot of options but just not much we were interested in.

But the person didn't encourage organized games and did not help when some kids kept blocking the sensors. I was busy hosting the party. Do not recommend if you want laser shooters that make sense to kids and need the person it comes with the actually help make the games make sense and be fun. Also, I reserved the maze. The person didn't bring the maze. I didn't get what I reserved in a couple of ways. And now my other kid wants laser tag...but remembers that this experience had issues. So...I'm shopping.

During this pandemic, this is the best party to have. Open, safe and fun. CaliVenture is the best kids party to have. We had a two hour party from 11 to 1. Demetrius came at 10:30 and setup everything by himself. His communication is so prompt, he will respond to any questions within minutes. He is friendly, courteous and super nice with kids. Most of the kids party are now a days are doing drop off and pickup of equipments, no personal attention. But CaliVenture, stay, host and organize the entire party. Parents can mind their own business or even better play with the kids. Very reasonable price $350 for two hours party, host and organize, drop and pick and everything in between. For laser they have laser tag and Gellyball options, we chose laser tag. This includes Gun with target sensor and inflatable bunker set up. It had 14 guns, the taggers have sensors on them. So No helmets or face masks, safe during pandemic. it's on the top of the tagger "clear dome". It makes sounds when you are getting hit. He set lives to 500-900 lives every hit is 2 damage points. He went over the rules for every game before each play. The game inudes, free for all Team game Free for all Last man standing Protect your leader Line em' up 1vs1 Each game twice. He even sent liability insurance to the park community. They also have Bounce houses , mobile laser tag , obstacle courses. We will call CaliVenture again for our next party.

I love how welcoming the staff is with parents and kids, the facility is always in pristine condition... I know I know, if you go soo much, doesn't it get old after a while??? IT DOES NOT... every time we go, the room is set up differently, which makes it like going for the very first time! ...
