I had an appointment 3 days after the phone call, then was called the day before by the technician, he said he could come 3 days later cause of some b.s excuse to come see the setting to install the cameras. Now 2 cameras plus equipment are now $650. I was uncertain and told him I'd call them to schedule installation. Since they don't respect appointments I had my mother wait on them to come install the equipment, they wanted a check. I left it with my mother and went to work. On my way to she calls to tell me they'll start installation when they receive they check and the payment goes through (meaning another day wasted) so they were going to send their technician out to pick up the check then schedule the appointment when they feel like it. This company left a really bad impression to my family who were also interested in contracting them. Is it so difficult to send clients to collections if they're owing you? Why let others pay (waste time) cause apparently other clients are owing them (that's what they told my mother)

Teyona Thomas earned this negative review for her work with Kent Services. When I moved into the…read moreproperty where she is currently employed, she presented herself as a kind individual with a heart for service. I think most people would feel inspired to leave a positive review after meeting her. However, after six months of getting to know Teyona, it became clear that her priority was to leave Kent Services and secure a full-time position with Greystar at the Highline Apartments. To gain favor with the Highline team, Teyona, while working for both Greystar and Kent simultaneously, engaged in behavior that seemed inappropriate for someone responsible for overseeing the property. This included consuming alcohol at the concierge desk and in local bars, then returning to the concierge desk in the main lobby afterward. I'm not sure if alcohol or ambition is to blame, but Teyona has collaborated with and supported the unethical actions of others working for Greystar/Highline, making it difficult for residents to defend themselves against wrongdoing by those in the office. Her support and silence have created additional challenges for residents, which I am certain is inconsistent with Kent's values and how they wish to be represented. I am prepared to defend any potential defamation claims filed by Ms.Thomas that may arise from my statements, via sworn witness statements from at least four other individuals who have seen the behavior, available recordings, etc.

Realizing that using black electrical tape was not aesthetically pleasing to the designer wannabe's…read moreeye, I drove myself off to the local hardware, which according to Yelp was the ACE Hardware located on 284 NE 79th St In Miami. In short they gave me an estimate of $8.00 for 5 small rolls of different colored electrical tape with 1 small white one in. OMG I was appalled. Disgusted with Yelp I turned to Google and found the Little River Building & Home Supply store. It wasn't far from this ACE Robbery store. I did not have high hopes as I had never heard of this place and it seemed to be off the beaten path for sure. It was 4:30 in the afternoon on a Saturday, and like most places in Little Haiti I was expecting it to be closed or be closing soon. I pull up, and pull in, and behind the counter, to me; (which to you may seem odd), is two medium framed, Italian Middle Aged ladies who seem to mean business. One lady clearly runs the store, the other is either family, or is just providing company. I obviously seem exasperated because the one Italian mafia looking middle aged lady asks me how she can help me, which I think is quite refreshing in Little Haiti, but anyway, I tell her I am desperately looking for white electrical tape, a feat that seems to be elusive as finding Dom Perignon on 54th and NE 2nd Ave. She turns away from me and I think, yeah they don't have it either, I should probably should just look online. She turns back to me holding a large roll of white electrical tape and says, "here we go". I look at her like she is definitely the Italian Mafia. I ask her how much. She says; "$3 dollars". Well that was that right there. Like someone out there said; it's all in the little things. It damn well sure is. I have been back three times since. The Owners name is Laguna. I don't think she's Italian. I have never had the audacity to ask. I think she has some handsome sons though, and I think perhaps they put in a shift or two at the store, but I think on the whole she works herself to death there. Her husband died years ago. She told me she knew more than her husband did, and I believe her. I once told her about a speaker wire project I was doing and she asked me I about the points I was using. I had never heard of a point but I had seen one. I just never put two and two together. I told her about the silver mirror that was hanging by a miracle and a wisp of air, she scolded me on the chosen anchor and educated me on the correct anchor as well as the overall use of the stud finder while I was trying to find a stud finder app on my IPHONE. What I can tell you if you're a Man - I mean you must be reading this for something informational enough to want to go to this store, is that their 80lb cement bags are $6.90 each, and it doesn't matter how much you want they have it on hand. And you are so welcome; I took all those pictures just for you big daddy.

I work from home and at this point people were suspecting that I was just leaving calls because I didn't want to be in them. When Isaac arrived, he gave me the run down on doing a mesh WiFi system, educated me on how the system works, gave me hacks and general tips about internet configuration. Any household that has anyone working from home needs to get their connectivity evaluated to ensure no drops. Please do so and I do recommend Zeekhelp.
