I came here on a lunch break and it was great. I got the Sunrise which has a fried egg, chives, sour cream, and cheese. It was like chipotle or moe's but potato version. The staff was extremely friendly and we were able to sit outside and eat for a bit. Took a little bit longer than we wanted to so we had to get them togo since we couldn't finish it in the amount of time. read more

This food was so yummy and satisfying! I traveled with Girl Scouts who ordered a variety from the menu and everyone liked them. Mine was super delicious and satisfying - I got the classic. Nice soft potatoes and plenty of toppings. My only issue is that they do not stick to the hours listed on the website. I called on Tuesday and they were closing at 8 when the website says 10. This is my new favorite comfort food place! I'd been eyeing the restaurant for quite some time. We finally decided to give it a go and we were beyond blown away. My husband ordered the Bbq potato and I ordered the Monterey. We were both stuffed and had a portion to take home. Our total with drinks came out to be $21. That was amazing! If you love potatoes ... This is a unique place I happened to walk by and was drawn in because, well, because all they really serve are spuds. This is a no frills kinda place but if you love potatoes you have to try it. They are served in bowls and do fill the bowl. I had the classic - a Russet with black pepper, thyme, rosemary, olive oil and lemon juice. Quite tasty. Topped it off with water. I have died and gone to potato heaven! It is the definition of a hole-in-the-wall, or more like alley, place to eat. I ordered the BBQ Pull Pork-tato and it was amazing! The potato was fresh and perfectly cooked. Even the skin was clean enough to eat and didn't have the dirty taste of not being washed. The owner made the suggestion of adding tortilla chips to the toppings to give a crunch...I highly recommend doing the same. The potatoes are perfect, the best baked potatoes I've had in a very long time. The idea is great and the decor is awesome. I wish there was more variety in the toppings and a better quality. When we came in, we were the only ones here. Despite that, it took over 30 minutes to make us 4 potatoes and they were extremely salty and the potatoes were cold on the side still. All 4 of us ordered different potatoes and none of us liked what we got. If you're only going to offer potatoes on your menu, you should be able to at least make a good one and it should hopefully be hot. Also, we asked for 4 cups for water. They charged us for 4 bottled waters ($1.50 each) and gave us 4 empty cups. Apparently they were out of bottled water (which we didn't want, but had to pay for). Ordered online and it said 11:15pm pickup. Got there at 11:05 and waited 10 minutes for someone to come to the counter. I realized there was only 1 person working there and alot of people still waiting on food. I asked about my order which he did not even realized I placed. I was told 15 minutes so I went out and came back at 11:30pm. He was still making the potato bowls for the people in the restaurant at this time. I finally got my food at 11:45pm. The bowl itself was pretty good but I realized it's just a layer of potatoes, cheese, chips, and pulled pork without any mixing. The wait did not really matchup with the overall product. The price was around what I would guess for a downtown Savannah restaurant. I finished the whole bowl in one sitting which I was surprised given the depth of the meal. I would have given it 4 stars if not for the disastrous pickup process... It's a Friday night with 1 person behind the counter to handle in-store and online orders? Ridiculous. read more

I reluctantly came by at 3 on a Sunday, but I wasn't in a hurry so I gave it a try. The same person took my order and made the potato. She told me it would be 10 minutes and it was. I was the fist person of the day to dine in. Your expectation here should be that this is more a order-pickup rather than a quick bite kind of place. Great food! Came into town late and had to wait quite a while for someone to take our order.

I brought my out of town guest here because we couldn't stop bragging about it last night, 11/01/15. We put our orders in at the counter and sat with our group. I got the Sunrise which is normally "amazing" and my group got an assortment of the other delicious tatters. After 20 mins 3 of our group potatoes were brought to the tables. My friends from Portland waited and waited. Soon everyone who had gotten their potatoes were completely done and waiting on us. We waited 45 mins. When I finally got my "Sunrise" potato, it was half the size of everyone else's potato with only cheese and a well done egg on top. No butter, sour cream, chives...nothing else. I paid 9 bucks for a tiny potato that I devoured in less than 10 mins while the rest of my group watched and waited for us to eat so we could get going. I was going to say something to the guy at the counter who never mentioned they were backed up or that it was going to be a wait because they needed to cook potatoes. The guy was pretty chill drinking a BlueMoon beer when I tried to make eye contact, he was quick to put on the shelf. Not sure if they were slow, behind, backed up because they were to busy drinking on company time or they just didn't care. All I know the experience left me disappointed and hungry. Luckily we got to Lulu's for some dessert where the service was much nicer and professional. read more

Came in for the first time and the guy took our order while texting whom ever, then he sat in the back and talked about how he needed to fight someone and talked about sexual content loud enough to hear the entire conversation. The guy sat in the back talking about a cruise and new customers came in and stood at the register for minutes before he could get off his phone to come take the order.. took 20 minutes to get the potatoe. We waited for 30+ minutes for two baked potatoes and when we did finally get our food it was cold and I doubt it would have tasted good even if it was warm. I completely lost my appetite after a bite or two. It wasn't what I was expecting after paying $25 for two small potatoes and two drinks. To make it worse they brought my boyfriends food about 10 minutes after mine. I ordered the Pulled Pork Potato and my boyfriend got the Monterrey. From reading the other reviews, it seems like the only good ones either seem fake or are from people that had been drinking when they ate - I wish that I would have read more carefully before coming. Went here after work with some we learned about Spudnik from a flyer, we went to see what it was all about the very first thing to catch our eyes was the floor which is beautifully made from pennies with nickels spelling out "Spudnik" the menu was of smaller size but by the conversation we had with the owner I could tell it would grow with much more ideas and combinations,we ordered several different types of potatoes and sweet potatoes all of which were great,very flavorful and original,the staff and owner were very polite and welcoming all and all I enjoyed my time at Spudnik and plan to return soon! read more

On the 2 previous occasions I've gone, they are a little too slow in fixing a potatoe. Yesterday I went at 11:45 a.m., when I walked in Rap music was blaring and I heard "F" and "lick my b...ls." Disgusting. One of the workers then turned down the music. I ordered an Athenian and when I got back to my office all I had was a plain potatoe with herbs sprinkled on top. Very disappointed. The concept is great, the decor is cool, the food has been really good until yesterdasy, but I think the owner needs to be a little more "hands on" or train his staff to act like adults. read more
