I've ordered from here a few times to go and it has been delish. I was recently there with my sister dining in, the service was quick and great, food was amazing as always. We both had pho, I got beef and my sister got chicken. The spring rolls were great too. It was a little chilli in there at first but once the soup got in my system I was just fine. I'm super critical about pho because it's a dish that near and dear to my heart. It's comfort food for me so I just have to give my honest opinion. The broth is ok but not great. There are many Vietnamese restaurants in Arlington and Sprout's pho broth was a little underwhelming. It's not as rich as I like. The aroma isn't as strong and fragrant. The shrimp torpedo was good. Chicken egg roll wasn't bad. Perhaps the best dish we had was the crunchy beef Springroll. Freshly made, beef cooked well, nice fresh vegetables. The Killa Pho is soooo good. I find myself craving it several times a month. It has the most flavorful, juicy tender oxtail meat in a fresh beef pho broth! So simple and delicious. I come here every time I visit my family in DFW. I meet up with friends and we get to catch up over spring rolls, boba, and pho. I always get all three. My favorite spring rolls are the Crunchy Onion Rolls with Avocado and Chicken. I also add tofu because I love tofu. You can get their bubble tea with or without boba. I love their Thai Tea. It's just the right amount of sweet. Their Pho is PHO-nomenal. :) I appreciate that you can get a regular sized pho or a larger bowl. There are so many options too. Seating is limited. I see a lot of people get Takeout. Please be aware that Lincoln Square is very busy. The parking is limited. Read the signs. Some parking is for the salon next door and some say it's a 30 min. limit. I ordered the grilled shrimp salad and California summer roll. The grilled shrimp salad came with 6 shrimp standard. I order extra shrimp and was treated to 6 more. The salad was fresh and crisp but very simple which accentuated the amazing flavor of the grilled shrimp. The issue was the dressing was missing from the salad. The summer roll was very nice with avocado imitation crab stick and rice noodle. I'd go back but I'm not leaving without my dressing!! read more

The service was slow and the place is definitely very much westernized. We tried Torpedo shrimp fried with cream cheese, beef pho deluxe which is beef with everything and Killa pho with oxtail. The broth is very plain and not flavorful at all and the meat quantity is definitely on a light side even for a girl. Probably won't visit again :/ read more

We ordered: Korean BBQ rice plate Grilled Pork and Vermicelli Shaken Beef Salad and washed it down with thai tea and cappuccino dream frappe. The shaken beef salad was outstanding. Their greens are super fresh and generous. The beef cubes were extremely tender and well seasoned. I enjoyed their dressing too. It was lightly gingered and a nice balance of sweet and tart. Their grilled pork for the vermicelli bowl was well seasoned with lemongrass but it was a tad on the dry side. It wasn't the old school grilled pork I was used to but it was okay. I think there are better vermicelli dishes to choose from. The Korean BBQ rice plate was so pretty and delicious. If you're not in the mood for viet, get this instead. :) Their bobas are quite good here. I think I like my bobas on the soft side so I really enjoyed it here. They have a HUGE variety of flavor and I think you should definitely try it. This place is a great place to introduce someone to Vietnamese cuisine. The decor is cute and clean and their service is quite fast even during a lunch rush hour. :) read more

Wouldn't seat us 30 minutes before close and it was a full house, practically every table full. If you're going to close at a certain time, that is when you stop taking tables. I've worked in the industry for 6 years and have never worked somewhere that stopped taking tables 30 minutes before close. If you don't want tables seated then close 30 minutes early. UPDATE: The owner commented on this and said they would never do that but they DID. At 3:30pm on Sunday. I drove 15 minutes from my house and rushed to get there by 3:30 so we could still eat there and they said they stopped seating people at 3:30... 30 minutes before closing. They're was two girl hostesses that told me that. read more

It's not authentic but it was ok at the moment. Hung over from the night before...anything would taste good? Not this case. This place is americanized. I dont care if they were on travel channel. It is not good! I also had their korean bbq rice plate...not good. It did not taste anything korean. It was just short ribs grilled. It was not marinated at all!!! Sprout's is absolutely hands down one of my favorite places to eat in Arlington! The food is always fresh, consistently good, and reasonably priced. The service is great too! I've eaten there nearly 50 times or more... I stopped counting a long time ago... and I've never been disappointed once. There was one time when they were extremely busy and forgot to make mine and my boyfriend's spring rolls and they corrected the error by removing them from our bill and brought them out immediately after they recognized their mistake. It's nice when restaurants are willing to own up to their misstep and correct it immediately! I'm beyond addicted to their grilled shrimp spring rolls, and vermicelli bowls... I've tried several (grilled shrimp, tofu, sesame beef, etc) and they are always delicious! The pho has such a depth of flavor to the broth and it is my ultimate comfort food! Overall... The pho is very authentic true to Vietnamese traditions, if not more! I could taste the thought they put into the ingredients. The shaken beef was exceptional and super tender! They use filet mignon cuts for their shaken beef, which most Vietnamese restaurants do not. Everything here is really good and exceptionally delicious. I would recommend anyone to come here. The place has very nice decor as well! The waitress provided service very well and was very attentive, especially when it was really busy. The chicken avocado spring rolls are really a unique twist that Sprouts added to the menu. You won't find these at your typical Vietnamese restaurant. The Vietnamese coffee was also perfectly made with just the right amount of sweetness and cream. Lunch today was light and tasty. This is the first place I have come across so far with the different types of spring rolls, so I had to try several of them out. They were delicious and tasted fresh. They were pretty busy today and the waitresses stayed on top of everything. My waitress was very sweet, when it came time to get a box she took it and boxed everything up for me. I called them, let them know the situation, and asked if they could remake them. I was told no because they were closed. I explained my order only contained 2 orders of 2 different types of eggs and that essentially half my order was burnt. The young man I spoke with double-checked with the manager and they said no and offered to give me a "free" order of egg rolls the next time I come in. I'm highly disappointed. Sprout's Springroll and Pho was featured on Man vs. Food. I saw the Super Pho challenge at Sprout's on Man vs. Food and went in to try one of their standard sized bowls. I ordered the large Beef Pho Deluxe bowl and thought that it was just ok, not a bad meal, but nothing to get excited about either. The bowl consists of rice noodles, eye of round beef, beef meatballs, brisket, tendon, and tripe, all mixed up in a hot bowl of beef broth. If you're a pho connoisseur, this would probably not be that memorable of a meal. Sprout's get's three stars for cooking up a perfectly average bowl of pho. read more

I prefer pho stock that is made with more anise, spices, fat and bone, so there's depth of flavor from the fat and marrow. This pho is lacking in that complexity but has a clean, fresh taste to it that is still good. The meatballs in the pho are superb. Had the classic spring rolls (average) and the garlic chile edamame for appetizers. The edamame was probably the best thing I had, no slight to the pho, it was just that good. First impression wasn't the greatest. As a vegan who is gluten free this restaurant needs to better train employees on these allergy issues. One of the waitresses is working to make a menu that explains these options better but meanwhile my husband and I were given fish sauce in peanut sauce along with soy sauce with wheat even after explaining to the waiter our dietary needs. The veggie pho does come with vegetable broth which is a plus. My son got the veggie fried rice which he said was great. My husband ate tofu orange chicken but after eating fish sauce by accident he wasn't able to relax and enjoy this dish after the peanut sauce incident. Overall it was ok but due to the various cooks in the kitchen the ingredients are likely not consistent. Not an issue if you don't have allergy or dietary preferences. The tofu spring rolls with peanut sauce used to be my FAVORITE food. I am a creature of habit and I loved this dish; but the past two times I've ordered from there I swear something is wrong with the peanut sauce. It's a different consistency and tastes strongly of vinegar. It's not just me, I've asked members if my family and friends who dont live with me (in case that and a negative 'Rona test weren't enough) and they all agree it tastes off at best and downright disgusting at worst.
