I can't believe I'm just hearing of this place, Sprout's, just recently! There's no Whole foods in Redding, so this is the next best thing. Actually, there some things about this store that are better than Whole Foods. It's kinda of a cross between Whole Foods and Trader Joe's. The service from the staff is way better than Whole Foods, super helpful and all over the store, so you don't have to go searching for anyone. The store is clean and organized and well lit. I'm not so much interested in regular groceries, like milk and produce and stuff, but I'm more interested in the deli and the meat counter offerings. They have a nice selection of unusual stuff, like different marinated chicken skewers to BBQ and big steaks on display. Lots of fresh fish as well. Then there are the ready made sandwiches for just $4.99! That's a killer price these days for a sandwich, but then I see they have made to order sandwiches for the same price! This way you get to have it made just the way you want, no mayo or lots of mayo, mustard or lettuce or tomato on of off. You just fill out a little order slip at the deli counter and they'll make it. They wrap them super nice with lots of layers of paper, I was impressed as I watch them make my sandwich with such care, totally unlike Subway or one of those chain sandwich joints! Then there's the ready made sushi! Wednesday is $5.00 special on a lot of the sushi offerings. I tried a few and I'll say, pretty decent for store bought sushi rolls, especially for just $5.00 bucks a box. No, not gonna be made to order sushi bar quality, but it's the convenience that's the draw here. I usually browse the meat counters for any bargains of marked down cuts and I found this 2 1/2 pound rib roast marked down, I guess it was close to the sell date. Yep, there I was, a seventy year old, looking for a place to put my cart, with the only option apparent to me being to take it back into the store. Concurrently, an able bodied male employee walked right by me. I figured he was probably getting off work. But, no, he was going out into the parking lot to get carts, and he did not volunteer to take mine off my hands. Courtesy is rare these days. PS I just got an email from Sprouts saying I'm getting closer to a $2 reward, like that's a BFD. Two dollars! Whoever thought that marketing gimmick up is not very bright. read more

I've only ever seen reviews as we don't have them in the Portland area (psssspssspssspsss PLEASE come tk Portland and Beaverton Oregon!) I love the variety. I am very impressed. This was the best visit I've ever had to this store. I walked in by the Deli counter, smelled the bacon, told the workers it smells awesome, and with gusto Natalie jumped to offer me a sample of their warm yummy bacon...and near the end of the night! It is/was a great store for organics and vegetarian and vegan and plant-based, but they seem to be getting rid of much of their veg(etari)an products lately. Most of their vegan PB deli meats and cheeses have disappeared, which really sucks. I see a pattern here. Soon they will be a worthless store if they keep it up. It's truly unfortunate. First of all I love this store. They always have yummy snacks and I love the meat dept. Me being Post Partum I love being able to find easy meals to just pop in the oven to have for dinner so I can focus on taking care of my baby. It's always clean when I go there and the meat dept never smells bad like some other grocery stores. I just picked up a curbside order and was so happy with the whole experience. It was so easy to shop on the Sprouts app and the employee (Cameryn) who shopped my order made the process so much easier! She made a great substitution, just like I would have if I was shopping for myself. She was super quick and my order was ready for pick-up even before my time slot. What started out as a quick trip to the grocery store for a few items, turned into an enjoyable shopping and dining experience! As I walked into the store, I was greeted by a friendly employee named Sierra. They have a dining area in the front of the store, where I enjoyed some freshly made sushi rolls. They were affordable and quite delicious. It was now time to grab my few items for dinner. I haven't shopped in Sprouts many times, so I needed some help navigating the aisles for a few products. Cam was super helpful in showing me where the green onions were, in addition to explaining the layout of their organic and non-organic sections. I found Cam to be a wealth of knowledge and extremely friendly. It was time for checkout and the lanes were staffed appropriately with very little wait time. I ended up in Sierra's line, and was met with the same friendliness as when I entered the store. She bagged my groceries up and had me out of there in no time. From fresh produce to healthy snacks and unique specialty items, I can always count on Sprouts to have what I need (and often what I didn't know I needed!). What really makes this location special, though, is the staff--especially the manager, Julie. She goes above and beyond every time we visit. She's always friendly, helpful, and has a genuine way of making customers feel welcome. My kids absolutely adore her--she never fails to greet them with a big smile and a fun sample, which has totally changed the way they view grocery shopping. I like to buy cold cuts and bread as well as other many items at this store; but I always find the lack of help and support leaving me with a bad taste. At the sandwich counter one has to beg to be helped. Today there were three people working but no one lift up their eyes to help me. I had to ask one of them if there was a person working at the sandwich counter as I needed to buy two sandwiches. The lady said yes, there is two working there. The guy said "I thought you were helping her" when he had seen me raise my hand to get help. Finally, Ana helped me. But the sandwiches are sorry! The bread is old and the sandwich was not good. I would not surprise me if this store goes out of business pretty soon due to lack of service from their employees. read more

Food sampler Jodi has been very friendly, informative and helpful every time I've seen her when I shop at Sprouts Redding.

Their manager is terrible. She does not care. I called her with a problem, a very small problem and instead of her fixing it, which was in her ability to just give me another half gallon of organic milk which the shopper did not ask me if I wanted a different brand I ordered 2/2 gallons of milk which I needed instead of asking me and let me know they were out of 1/2 gallon and get me a different organic milk, which they carry a couple different brands. She took it upon herself to just get me one instead of two so when I call and speak to the manager about it, she took my complaint didn't care to fix the problem so I called back again and said she should've offered to give me another milk. My husband was on his way to pick up the Instacart order. She had plenty of time to stick a milk in there for me. I shop there every month and we're done shopping at sprouts the shopper that was doing my shopping ignored me when I wrote her about stuff on my text messaging she wrote me and told me they were out of organic chicken breast. Would I like the regular and I said yes but did not let me know that I was only getting organic milk. I think it's ridiculous and I'm pretty mad about it. I can only drink organic milk and where I live they do not sell it. read more

I was in shopping today at this location and have to say I had the best experience I've ever had at any grocery store. I was approached by a guy named Jeff and asked if I needed any help. I told him just looking for dinner for myself. He helped me find some food by letting me try some samples. He walked me over to the deli department and I tried some things out of the deli area. He was so friendly and I had a great time listening to how much enjoys working there and helping customers find health foods. I will be back very soon. It was the first time in the sprouts store. I went shopping today for vitamins and girl help was so awesome she set me up with so I could get discounts she was patient with me and made me feel l was important to her and not a bother which I'm sure I would've been a bother but she was fantastic. I think her name is Amber and then I went to the checkout line and my guy that checked me out I should say young man was totally awesome. I just had a incredible visit in the store. My checkers name was I'm looking for it right now. He had a really cool name. The food is top quality although they're deli leaves a lot to be desired what kind of place named sprouts doesn't have sprouts for the sandwiches? what kind of place in organic doesn't have veggie wraps tortillas or rolls in their sandwich shop I don't understand that most of the managers were good people all the employees were some of the managers were well dick wads The only way I can put it however their prices are high on some things but isn't that just the way it is now? down lower on other things and as far as customer service from the non-managers that just goes without saying their tops The store is clean it's a bit upper scale which means that working-class people like me feel a little out of place I'm just surprised they're meat department is not bigger though. Good butter section good egg section definitely top notch produce but as I said before the attitude of some of the staff members leaves a lot to be desired and they're a sandwich shop I'll stick with Holiday market thank you much better sandwich and one last thing beware of the sandwich of the day that is a sandwich of the day because as I was informed by one of the employees it's all the meat that's getting ready to expire and they have to sell it or they have to toss it Don't buy the sandwich of the day it's old meat read more
