I get my sandwiches there a lot, and the last two times Rebekka has been incredible, very sweet and fun to order from, which has been super redeeming, as they had someone else in the sandwich spot who made the most angry sandwich I've ever recieved. The sandwich itself was a mess, and the wrapping half off it. I've had food made with love before, but not bitterness and hate. I can't believe I'm just hearing of this place, Sprout's, just recently! There's no Whole foods in Redding, so this is the next best thing. Actually, there some things about this store that are better than Whole Foods. It's kinda of a cross between Whole Foods and Trader Joe's. The service from the staff is way better than Whole Foods, super helpful and all over the store, so you don't have to go searching for anyone. The store is clean and organized and well lit. I'm not so much interested in regular groceries, like milk and produce and stuff, but I'm more interested in the deli and the meat counter offerings. They have a nice selection of unusual stuff, like different marinated chicken skewers to BBQ and big steaks on display. Lots of fresh fish as well. Then there are the ready made sandwiches for just $4.99! That's a killer price these days for a sandwich, but then I see they have made to order sandwiches for the same price! This way you get to have it made just the way you want, no mayo or lots of mayo, mustard or lettuce or tomato on of off. You just fill out a little order slip at the deli counter and they'll make it. They wrap them super nice with lots of layers of paper, I was impressed as I watch them make my sandwich with such care, totally unlike Subway or one of those chain sandwich joints! Then there's the ready made sushi! Wednesday is $5.00 special on a lot of the sushi offerings. I tried a few and I'll say, pretty decent for store bought sushi rolls, especially for just $5.00 bucks a box. No, not gonna be made to order sushi bar quality, but it's the convenience that's the draw here. I usually browse the meat counters for any bargains of marked down cuts and I found this 2 1/2 pound rib roast marked down, I guess it was close to the sell date. Oh my gosh, how could one store have so many great employees! Jennifer J was my online shopper about 4 days ago and again today. She is so great, helpful texting if something is out with photos and best part is she chooses great produce too! Thank you Jennifer J! I know the meat department is back there cutting our packaged meats and then there is Chuck at the deli counter, thanks to those employees as well! I've only ever seen reviews as we don't have them in the Portland area (psssspssspssspsss PLEASE come tk Portland and Beaverton Oregon!) I love the variety. There are great deals everywhere you look and man there is a GREAT selection for vegans too. Always positive. Jodi, who was doing samples at the entrance, was super sweet and welcoming. Me being Post Partum I love being able to find easy meals to just pop in the oven to have for dinner so I can focus on taking care of my baby. I wanted to come on here to leave a 5 star shout out to the in store Curbside Pick up orders that Sprouts offers through their Sprouts.com web site (I'm not speaking of instacart deliveries). Sprouts Curbside Pick up uses their own staff to shop the products and the service is incredible! I am handicap so this has been a weekly/bi-weekly service I have been using for over a year now. In thousands of dollars of groceries and supplements through their Curbside Pick up - I have only ever had 2 items that needed something addressed on them, whereas I have had more errors using the instacart delivery option. I can't say enough good about the Curbside Pick up and the gal that manages their Curbside pick ups - I wish I knew her name - she is delightful to deal with and today when I had questions about a BOGO sale - she went above and beyond for me so I got a great substitute. Also...their sales have been awesome lately which I really appreciate for the budget! Give Curbside a Try in Redding - Make sure you shop on Sprouts.com and not through instacart. I walked in by the Deli counter, smelled the bacon, told the workers it smells awesome, and with gusto Natalie jumped to offer me a sample of their warm yummy bacon...and near the end of the night!
