I agree with some reviews that Martha and Jim are very nice folks and they didn't pressure us, although their recommendations were some of the more expensive items they had, which we didn't go with. We went middle of the road for what we wanted and could afford. Overall definitely check this place for baby furniture. If you want a cheap $200 crib though, don't waste your time. Really nothing here we saw was below $400.

We walked in not knowing anything about baby products and walked out knowing exactly what we wanted. We were very upfront with them that we weren't buying that day but rather were looking to figure out what to put on our registry. My husband is 6'5" and I'm also tall so figuring out a baby carrier has been a struggle since we have zero baby stores where we live. They were more than accommodating and helpful in teaching us about the differences and letting us try them on. They went over the strollers and the car seats and the helpful functions with each kind. I wish we could take the staff and store home with us because it would make this whole first time parent thing a MILLION TIMES EASIER! We highly recommend them! The delivery people were the same both times and they are very nice and super tidy. This last time the nightstand was backordered which was no big deal but then after the delivery guys left I realized that the dresser had loose joints and was damaged on one of the drawers. I wrote an email to baby beaudoir and the manufacturer to tell them about the defects, complete with pictures. The manufacturer wrote back that they would not replace the furniture and just send parts! This would be pretty difficult since the entire side panel needed to be better assembled. Before I could even respond, baby beaudoir wrote back that they would be replacing the entire thing at no cost. At 8 months pregnant this was a HUGE relief! Due to weather and delays, the dresser replacement did not arrive until after my baby's arrival but again, the delivery men were so kind and careful, there were no issues! The store also had great communication to tell me when it would arrive. I will make sure to recommend this business to anyone who is expecting!

Not even a nod that a living human person has entered the building. Which probably is why I then shop in Just Ducky with a less-than-ducky attitude. The store merch is just okay. Definitely not "upscale" or "top notch," as others have said. Lots of GAP and similar brands. The last time I was in, there was a Mini Boden display near the front that seemed promising, but upon closer inspection the clothes were faded and pretty well-worn. Some of the items are also really over-priced. There was an older model BOB stroller (before the more sleek, contoured design came out) for $199. I actually took a double take when I read the price tag. You can buy the newer version on Craigslist for the same or less. I did not find a pot of gold sitting in the carriage so I'm not sure what got factored into that price. All that said, they seem to do a good job of staying relevant to the season, which I'm sure is not that easy to do. This month, October, they have an ample selection of Halloween costumes, many of them in very good and even brand new condition. Consignment stores are usually hit or miss and sadly for me this is consistently a miss.

Prices are high--even for incomplete items--and there's a serious lack of transparency. I recently looked at a used LEGO set marked "mostly complete." Priced at 25$. When I asked for details, I was told someone counted the pieces, but they refused to share how many were counted or what was actually included. Instead, I got a dismissive comment by the manager about how it sells for more on eBay?? If someone actually counted the pieces, why not be honest and mention it in the description? Is it 100 pieces missing or just 10-20? That's a big difference, and buyers deserve clarity if I'm going to spend 25$ on it. Worse, when I asked questions, the staff were rude and defensive, showing no interest in helping or being honest. It's disappointing and frustrating to be treated that way--especially by a place that claims to serve the community. I'm done. After years of supporting this store, I won't be going back. I won't support rude people who don't care about the community or the customers who make their work possible. I'm starting to question whether this is truly a non-profit store anymore. It feels like their focus has shifted to making profits rather than serving the community in need
