Nice place! It is reminiscent of NYc village with the super small spaces. I felt a bit claustrophobic. I was also not a fan of the large dog walking around inside like it owned the place, especially after reading on the door that only service dogs were allowed... And this thing was no service dog. Our waitress was nice, but seemed to be in a hurry. I didn't get a water refill even after asking and the check was dropped off rather abruptly. She gave us the dessert menu, and when she returned I was going to order sorbet, but she dropped off the check! Apart from that, the food was quite wonderful. They have a great menu. I was not loving the crostinis base, but the toppings were delightful. I'd have preferred a fresh baguette. The salad was delicious. The chicken was seasoned and perfectly cooked. Went to Spiritz in Stuart on 2/6 for cocktails and listen to some music with my wife and friend. Sat at bar paid my bill with my credit card and tipped the bartender with a 25% tip in cash. Upon receiving my statement I saw an additional charge of 110.47. Called Bistro to report was told manager would get back still waiting. Now have to dispute with my credit card company. Very poor customer service. Live locally and they just lost a frequent customer. Just wonder how many other customers have been cheated without realizing. read more

This local small restaurant bar sits at the corner and is very very busy- make sure to get a reservation! We were lucky to get a table for a pleasant quick lunch. This time we only ordered the apple and blue cheese salad- the Boston lettuce was very fresh and there was plenty of the cheese, pecans and bacon bits that added flavor- however I had to ask for more of the dressing, and even when it was delivered, it was so subtle, that I could barely taste it. I would have loved some balsamic with this mix. The lobster roll looked very appetizing and was served with either a mixed salad- or French fries. We opted for fries and got the salad, by their mistake , so it looked very nice- but we didn't taste it as we were having the blue cheese salad. The setting of this bistro is very nice, the mood relaxed and fun and the service was very good as well. The process were high but this bistro is marketed to an upscale crowd. Enjoy! read more

Decided to try it on a Saturday early evening before a show at the Lyric. What I like: Great service, good energy. Great cocktails. The highlight of the meal was the Lobster Roll with Fries and the Tiramisu we shared. Lots of big chunks of lobster and the Tiramisu was perfection. What I didn't like so much:. The menu is a bit odd. Small plates and tapas and then a pretty limited selection for dinner. Overpriced in my opinion, with the exception of the Lobster Roll. well to start off with the restaurant was FREEZING thermostat reading 56 degrees. then it took forever to get our drinks we ordered 5 expressos. By the time they came to the table they were cold. As we were sitting waiting for the expressos I had to stop the waitress to ask if we could put in an appetizer because we were never asked if we wanted to start a food order. I've been to Spritz 3 times now and every time I left there blown away. Their menu has so many incredible dishes that I'm still eager to try but if the three I've had, (Braised-Rib, Chipotle Mayo Club, and I can't remember the name of the chicken dish, but the chicken dish I can't remember the name of was incredible. We absolutely loved our dinner here! We browsed the menus at all the restaurants at the Stuart river walk and this one seemed the most interesting for the best price. It's very reasonably priced compared to many of the others, still with high quality food. The drinks are strong here, my mom got a margarita and it basically tasted like a shot of tequila with little else in it. So if you're into that, this might be the place for you. It was hard to decide because the menu had a lot of interesting and unique choices on it, but I got the gnocchi for my entree! It had a very earthy flavor with a lot of meat and delicious root veggies. I basically devoured every bite. It was a very homey and comforting dish. For dessert we had the Ghirardelli brownie sundae. Located in downtown Stuart this charming little bistro with an exciting menu is waiting for you! We arrived just after 2pm with a large group and we seated right away. This place is light and bright with a touch of class. Nice bar area and a separate dining room. Our server was Tyler. He started us off with waters and even brought us little plates with lemons. He was really friendly and did a good job accommodating our large group. My friend and I ordered the charcuterie plate with two cheeses and a meat. This was plated with olives, breads and a yummy jam. Immediately on the menu the item that caught our eye was the truffle mac and cheese, turned out so rich and delicious, everyone who tried some loved it! My hubby and I shared the crostini's. These are so unique at this restaurant because they give you a list of different combinations and you can choose 3 or 6. My favorite was the pear and gorgonzola with hot honey and balsamic glaze. There are really some neat combinations so do check the menu and see which flavor combinations interest you! My friend ordered the lump crab deviled eggs and she really enjoyed them. A friend and I both ordered the Pear & Gorgonzola salad on his recommendation, and it was absolutely amazing! One of the best and Most creative salads I've ever had, and the price was fair at $21. There was a ginger dressing which really gave it lots of flavor and some zing! Another friend ordered the chopped Mediterranean salad and she absolutely loved her salad as well. The other 3 women in our group all ordered the Mocha fillet, which was another unusual menu option, and they all 3 said the steak was tender with a unique, tasty coating. Was cruising downtown Stuart with a couple of friends and came across this place! Very busy for a Saturday night around 10:00 p.m. We sat at the bar for some drinks and food? I enjoyed a very meaty Maine lobster roll with fries for around $21( Yes, it's really from Maine) and a caipirinha! The bartender/server was very attentive and accommodating. My only complaint was that the Caipirinha was way too sweet. The bar area is quite large and can get a little loud but nothing overwhelming. I didn't used to care for this place but I have changed my opinion. A group of us went before Christmas. It was decorated beautifully, which helped put everyone in a good holiday mood. The setting is quiet and intimate. I had the short ribs and mashed potatoes and root vegetables. It was so excellent and very satisfying. My friend had the risotto with seafood. While it looked beautiful, it didn't taste all that good. The risotto was dry and the seafood was overcooked. Resist the temptation to get it. It's expensive and not worth the price when there are better items to be had. Two others had the scallops, which they loved, and my other friend has the fish and chips. He said it was great. High-quality food, not over-priced (except for the risotto dish), and a lovely intimate atmosphere makes this one of downtown Stuart's best restaurants on the strip. read more

French Countryside Salad: this was a huge portion. Bright, crunchy salad with tangy dressing. Summer Risotto: this was delicious with a hint of sweetness. NY Strip: cooked perfectly. If I could rate it at no stars I would. They participated in the Humane Society Pup Crawl but they wanted nothing to do with the Pup Crawl patrons. They ignored my husband at the bar and he ended up walking out because he was never served. They told other people that ALL their taps were down (seriously?!) We ended up going next door to Dirty South where the bartender was great and the pups were allowed in. I was visiting from NJ and went to this spot with my cousin and her daughter. My cousin says that it is her regular lunch spot and everything is excellent. i can't confirm that everything is excellent since I only got to try 4 items from the menu, but I haven't found anything to disprove what my cousin said. Plus, I'm her favorite, so she has great taste. We started with crostini's. You get to choose 3 flavors and they were all delightful. Of course my favorite has prosciutto and ricotta. I forgot to take a picture, but I had shrimp tacos. The mango and yum yum sauce went together nicely. My cousin let me try her poke bowl for the sake of a good review. I thought it was awesome, fresh tuna and the sauce had a nice little kick. My other cousin for a chipotle club sandwich and only ate half. The bacon and guacamole almost made the sandwich fun, but it was probably the most boring item on the menu. Brandy was our server and the service was impeccable. She greeted us quickly with waters, was friendly and I'm pretty sure she was smiling under her mask. She was patient while I looked at the menu and answered all my questions. Our drinks and apps came out quickly, and our lunch was perfectly timed. She was very attentive with refills, making sure our food was good, and bringing the bill. The restaurant has a great location and had a great outdoor dining area. I recommend this place to anybody whether you live in Florida or are a tourist. But ordering a chicken sandwich from a place like this seems like a missed opportunity to try something really great. read more
