If you decide to go with someone else or not do the work then you get hit with the fee. I'm OK with that. But that's not how this company operates. I had a leak. Adam showed up. I showed him the leak. He dug it up and fixed it and charged me. Perfectly fine. And then they charged the $110 on top of that. They refuse to waive it. IF you're OK with this policy, then you will probably like them. IF like me, you think this is not customer friendly, then be aware and you may want to consider one of the many alternatives. I was a repeat customer for them with winterizations, spring start up, etc. Because of their policy, they lost my business. Edited in response to owner's comments as she is leaving out critical information. Donna R says she listened to the call but she is leaving out that she also heard me comment about the fee and express dissatisfaction with it. She also heard me say that the leak was in the same place where last year they replaced a valve component. I expressed on the call that I thought it would be a warranty repair. THAT is the only reason I agreed to have them come out. As it turns out it was not related to the valve and thus I was responsible for the repair. Which was fair and have no problem paying. And regardless of whether or not I was told up front, it is not a customer friendly policy. One that I would not have accepted if not for the possibility of warranty coverage. And one that i will not accept moving forward. And no, Donna R., I'm not calling the office to discuss. I don't need to hear you explain the policy again. It is what it is. Charge your customers all you want. If they don't care, good for you. I care.

Five Towns Sprinkler has been around since 1982!!!!!!…read more They are the only irrigation company that still puts quality over quantity!!!!! Not only do they install and service Irrigation systems but they also install water wells so your sprinkler can run off of a well and save you money on the water (Also a Plus if you have a pool you can fill it up from the well) If you are looking for the job to be done right i would not hesitate to call Steve.

I dug the line, built the manifold, ran wiring for solenoids to the timer and electric for a well pump (the well head professionally done). Problem is when you do things for the first time there's always bound to be mistakes. I contacted this company once at 8pm on a random weeknight intending to leave a message but Steve (owner) picks up the phone to my surprise. I tell him a problem I'm having with my well pump short cycling. After listening intently he recommended a pump start relay which cracked the case. I always remembered the kindness of a stranger. Fast forward 2 seasons later I was having a problem where my system was running but wouldn't discharge to the zones. I called upon this company again in hopes of resolving the issue as my grass was left to die in the August sun. Steve was at my house the next day to look into the issue. I knew I built this system with the proverbial rubber bands and chewing gum and my beginner-mess showed clearly. I came home, they had installed a new pump start relay that had electrically shorted on my watch, ran new hard wire from the relay to the pump, ran a new ground wire in a conduit and buried it underground from the pump house to the valve box, ran all new wiring from the solenoids back to the timer and fixed the issue. Not only fixed the issue, but put the system in a safer and more sustainable place than it ever has been. I didn't know what the scope of the work would be in advance but after he solved my first relay issue 2 seasons ago on the phone and yet yielded no business in return for his advice, I trusted him implicitly to do right by me. This kind of business feels increasingly rare - the kind where you have the guy that runs the business and makes you feel like you're worth his time no matter how much other work he may have. I've dealt with my share of contractors and it's very easy to feel like just "another." Kudos to Five Towns Sprinkler for a job well done and being a trustworthy company to help keep my yard investment safe!

They were professional, punctual, and reasonably priced for the scope of work. What really stood out: after they left the gas company nicked one of our lines during unrelated work, and they came right back out and fixed it free of charge, no questions asked. That kind of follow-through is rare these days. Can't recommend them enough.

I went with them last year to lay irrigation down in my front yard with a whole new system with foundation plantings to be watered by drip irrigation. With the really hot summer of 2025, I called two times for them to come out because the foundation plants were not adequately watered with drip irrigation. The first time, Reynolds came really quickly. The second time, I was told that I could change the amount of water myself on the app and that the team had already come out once to service me and that they had changed out 3 leaks in the drip system for free! The issue is, drip irrigation put in place did not reach all the plants - even though I was told it would- so I could increase the amount of water as much as I want and all it would do it drown some plants while others stay dry. Fast forward a year later, some very valuable trees have withered and died -3 japanese maples and 1 blue spruce along with some other shrubs. They also neglected to tell me that they reduced the amount of water everything was getting by 1/3 last summer because of the water shortage. They probably thought homeowners can change this themselves if plants look like they need more water. But we were away for July 2025 and came back to dead trees. An email telling us that they were doing this would have gone a long way. After thousands of dollars, I'm now back at square one and needing another system. Oh, they also told me they would change my old system (valves etc) and they didn't. They retrofitted everything to an old 30 year old system - I was told this when I got a new estimate recently. I was also told that the drip irrigation system was improperly installed, not suitable for my foundational plantings and were getting leaks because they didn't put a regulator in for that much water pressure. It would have been good for them to tell me that before installing the system. What a mess! Stay Away!
