I had a leak and didn't know what to do, so I called them kind of last minute--literally five minutes before they were about to close. I figured no one would pick up or they'd rush me off the phone, but Jimmy answered and took the time to really help me. He asked me a few questions, told me exactly what to do, and I followed his steps--and the leak stopped! He stayed on the phone with me the whole time, even though my call dropped a few times. I called them for service last year around September 2021. I was scheduled for a window in the afternoon. They didn't get to work until sunset and worked in the dark until after 9pm. The next day, several of the valves they installed had leaks and they had to come back out and re-do them. One of the employees made a comment that he knew they'd have problems because they worked in the dark. I turned my water off to the sprinkler system in late fall 2021. This April 2022, I turned the system back on and one of the valves has a major defect and just sprays water everywhere. I have been trying to get a hold of Sprinkler Logic for several weeks now to get this fixed but they aren't answering or returning calls or emails. The work they did came with a one year warranty but it looks like they might be out of business or screening calls/emails. If they still operate, I DO NOT RECOMMEND. read more

We just had a job finished by Sprinkler Logic and am very pleased with what they did. We had to replace two valves that were 10 years old on a brand new home. Jimmy came out the day we called and took a look and knew exactly what was needed. Moe came out today (Friday 7/22) and replaced the valves and made sure it ran perfectly before leaving. He even showed me how the new ones work and what I should expect from them. He even showed me what I needed to do on my timer so I could adjust things as needed. Great experience all around. If you need help with your watering system, I highly recommend Sprinkler Logic! They installed drip irrigation for me, and it is great! They are RESPONSIVE and FAST! They came out right away to assess my situation... scheduled the work very quickly... AND... after they were gone, I noticed one thing that I wanted changed, and again... they responded quickly, came out the next day and fixed it! They are very knowledgeable, professional and friendly! I ask a LOT of questions! They answered all my questions and then provided more information that led to more questions... all of which were answered clearly and completely. They showed up on time for the job, did everything exactly as discussed, cleaned up very well, charged exactly what they quoted. My job was maybe a tougher one - I wanted drip irrigation installed in my backyard, but the previous year I had a different (not great) crew out here who kind of messed everything up... so finding the lines was kind of hard. He promised that it wasn't a broken pipe, but a pressure problem because too many sprinklers were on one station and needed to be re-routed. I met Jimmy and told him that all of the sprinklers in the backyard, both front and back (2 stations), had been working perfectly and the lawn had been green.  Then one day, the front half of the lawn (1 station) stopped rising up high (only 1/2 inch) and wasn't working anymore.  Because it happened all at once I believed it had to be a broken pipe.  My gardener had checked the pressure back at the stations and there was good pressure, so he agreed something must have happened with a pipe somewhere. Jimmy did not want to really hear me and kept up with his sales pitch that I needed a whole new system, which would be $2500.00.  I agreed to let him redo the drip system as he said the redwood trees should be on their own station and needed to be fixed.  Keep in mind, this backyard had brand new landscaping including all new sprinkler and drip system in 2018 and was a nice looking yard until the front half of the grass died off because of the sprinkler problem.  Jimmy quoted another $2400.00 for the drip systems.  I reiterated the facts about the sprinklers having worked perfectly then ONE day they stopped and didn't understand how it could just be because of too many sprinklers on one station causing the problem. But Jimmy insisted it was NOT A BROKEN PIPE.  Work took 2 1/2 (VERY HOT days for those workers).  When they were done, I asked if I could run the sprinklers before they left.  I turned on the front station and 2 of the sprinklers were not reaching a certain area of grass and needed to be adjusted, Then I turned on the back station and a few adjustments were made. It appeared the back sprinklers had a huge amount of pressure, just as they had before, and the front sprinklers again, had 1/3 of the pressure that the back sprinklers had.  Jimmy had called me on the phone right at that moment and I explained, it really didn't look like the pressure was correct.  He didn't really want to hear that, and said he would talk to his guy.  A supervisor came about the same time, to have me pay the bill.  I asked him to look at the pressure on the front section.  After a couple of minutes I could hear that he was on the phone presumably with Jimmy, telling him there was a problem.  The supervisor came and told me that it appears there must be a break in a pipe and that they would be back tomorrow with a trencher to find the break and that they would make this right.  The next day, YEP, a pinch pipe from the redwood roots that affected the front station sprinklers, AS I THOUGHT.  Nothing was really wrong with the fact that there were more sprinklers on one station than the other, causing the problem.  Yes I got new pipes for the front half of the lawn and new sprinkler heads all around the lawn, (that hopefully are down far enough that my gardener can mow over the grass), and of course, new drip lines.  But, I don't feel like I should have been charged the full amount, since the back station/sprinklers had zero problem, but, it is what it is.  As a senior citizen, this was quite a chunk of my savings from over the last year, and I have learned that I will need to not be persuaded on getting something replaced if it doesn't make sense. read more

This company bid a job at my house and the estimate was 4 TIMES HIGHER than the 3 other esitmates I got. The other 3 estimates were close together (witin 10% of each other) from top rated Angi's list contractors, so they were legit. Jimmy when doing the site visit did not measure anything, he did not look inside inside the existing pullbox needing work, and kept saying "I got it" when I was explaining the scope of work to him. I think he tries to do more than is required to bump up the fee as well (such as a concrete foundation at a hose bib rather than a deeply sunk metal post). He came across as a salesman and quite arrogant. He had a young man with him in training, but I can't imaigine the poor man learned anything but to try to take advantage of unsuspecting home owners. Clearly he was overpricing the job by not measuring or looking inside the existing pullbox. I felt he wasted my time and is looking for wealthy suckers to pay him for his overpriced bids. Called a week in advance for an appointment, was given a four hour time slot. 10 minutes prior to the four hour window expiring, got a call that no techs were available and we'd have to re-schedule. Re-scheduled for a two hour time slot four days after the original appointment and received a call as the time window expired that a tech was available. I missed the call as I was trying to call them at the same time, and once I was connected, I was rudely advised the tech was sent elsewhere due to my "failure to answer". Suggestions: 1) Please keep the customer in the loop much earlier. I took half a day of PTO and re-arranged weekend plans to try and make both appointment windows work. 2) Please be respectful of the customer experience when calling - blaming me for missing a call is no way to start a conversation, especially when I started off being nice (I was rude at the end as well and I apologize, but I was triggered) 3) Please advise up front that you'll need to be available for a phone call - this was never advertised to me. I was given two appointment windows and you failed to meet both of them. I'll be going elsewhere with my business from now on. read more

Major leak which flooded my backyard. Determined it was the sprinkler system. Had to turn off water flow to the entire house to stop the flooding, so yeah...no showering, no potty, and dying of thirst. Used Home Advisor to locate several repair companies. Most were pretty quick to respond but Sprinkler Logic was able to come out first thing in the AM. Tony arrived and I showed him where the leak was. He repaired it but then determined there was another leak. He gave me several options to repair...I took the less expensive option of course. He also showed me where the main shut off valve was. I had an appointment with Sprinkler Logic for someone to check my malfunctioning sprinklers between 9am to noon. When I made the appointment, I was told someone would call me before arrival. I waited until 12:20pm to call and get a status update (because no one called me). I was told the technician was running an hour behind and would be at my home around 1:00pm. I told the call-center agent I had taken time off work for their technician and they could cancel the visit. All they said was that they were sorry. The call-center could have at least called me earlier in the morning to notify me of the technician's delay. This would've given me the chance to reschedule and possibly get to work earlier. Yet I had to call them to get an update. This is poor communication, thus the poor review. So if you plan on trying out Sprinkler Logic, I highly recommend you get the phone number of the technician who will be visiting your residence. This eliminates the suspense as to the time they will actually arrive. read more

FANTASTIC work. I am so pleased. Jimmy walked me through the project; he was totally clear on expectations and came back again before I said yes because I had questions; his crew is awesome and super detail-oriented, and they communicated with me every step of the way. This was a bigger job, and I was not sure about many details. Jimmy walked me through a few different scenarios, telling me the pros and cons of each. That made me more confident about pulling the trigger and using these guys. The final walkthrough was great. They showed me each head and drip and then programmed the timer with me, telling me which valve did which zone, and gave me recommendations on how long and when to do each one. 100% will use again if I decide to do the front yard!! read more

One of our zones wasn't turning on, so we had Sprinkler Logic come out. The tech found the valve for the zone had come unwired, so he rewired it, said it was all fixed and left. I went to turn on the zone and nothing happened. Tried calling the company many, many, many times over the next couple weeks. Sent emails, left voice messages, but they never got back to me. I'm out at the valve one day to turn it on manually when I finally notice that the valve is wired to a battery powered node timer that we have for a different zone rather than the main box back at the house like it used to be. Long story short, the tech had incorrectly wired a valve with the typical AC solenoid to a DC timer, which was never going to work. Even if he had swapped in a DC solenoid and wired it correctly, not telling me that he was changing the zone's controller would have left me very confused! This company has terrible communication even when you are face to face with them and the fact that the tech didn't seem to notice he was trying to wire an AC device to DC power does not inspire confidence. Find another sprinkler company! read more

We had new gutters put in resulting in needing to be re-alligned with underground piping to move water away from structure so we called Sprinkler Logic. Also, over many years we did lots of yard work/upgrades (in segments) resulting in a mixmosh of sprinkler parts as each part does not break/get damaged/ give way same time. And each time, the person fixing the "one small issue" made that one part good but at the expense of the functionality of the whole system it seemed because all sprinklers were not equal in how they worked or how much water coming out. It was annoying to watch one area of grass get great coverage while another area was getting spit on. So eventually we had lots of uneven and even some bald spots thruout the yard made worse by extreme weather. So Sprinkler Logic responded to our call and Jimmy and Joe came out in a timely manner and addressed our initial concern of connecting rain gutters to underground piping and it looks great and even less minimal and bulky than the previous. We then explained our concern about the lawn and after watching our mixmosh setup in action, Jimmy explained that to prevent the uneven/bald spot watering ideally we would need to have the same type of sprinklers to distribute the water equally in all ways both pressure and coverage and we agreed to change out the few sprinkler heads to match the rest. Took care of that problem lickety split with lawn looking uniform within days. Jimmy also made recommendations for the future (a few other plastic parts showing concernable wear vulnerabilty) which made sense as we understand the maintenance vs. crisis take and this is not our first rodeo in home upkeep. There was no pressure, just advice and we appreciated that. Jimmy also took the time to go over the watering scheduling system, explaining and answering questions which may seem simple and basic but not when you only have to adjust water schedule only every now and then. They were here for quite a long time and worked their butts off. Also quick response in coming back shortly thereafter to do a quick fix that resulted from another company/service that messed up one of the sprinklers shortly after Sprinkler Logic was at the house. So in the end, they responded quickly, worked hard, fixed issues for long term, gave good advice and came right back out to address our additional concern (not their fault) in short time also. I had Sprinkler Logic come out in May of 2017 to repair a backyard manifold. They said that the best way to repair it was to rip it out and build a new one which I allowed them to do. They charged me $950 and gave me a warranty of one year. In November of 2017 the manifold system began to leak massively. They came out and once again rebuilt the manifold and no charge. In August of 2018 the whole manifold system once again burst. I called Sprinkler logic and they said they were not sure it would be under warranty but would come out and take a look. They committed to a date then cancelled. They rescheduled and then cancelled and for a third time rescheduled and cancelled, and rescheduled again at which time I decided to go with a new firm. As the technician left my driveway, I was walking on air. He fixed my sprinkler problem truly through "Logic" at one-third the price of my other two bids. My 1950's house had a spaghetti mess of timer wires but Jimmy took the time to test them and get to the root of the problem. They said only 2 items were faulty but they suggest changing all of them since the other ones will go bad probably too. I wanted a 2nd opinion and they called back to lower the price by $20 a part. I said I wanted to have someone else look at it before I move forward. They got annoyed and said we're very busy.... forget it and hung up. Total D**k heads. When I had a friend look at the parts and the one they said was faulty we found a wood chip between the pieces which didn't allow the valve to close completely. This was what was causing a leak. They had someone look at it and they did not see this??????? AND they wanted to charge me close to $1,000 to make this repairs that I didn't need?????? F* them. Our sprinkler valve broke on Saturday afternoon. There was no shut off valve in the backyard, and we knew the water would be going down the street by nightfall. Called several sprinkler repair firms and all were booked for weeks. However, Sprinkler Logic could work us in on Thursday afternoon. On Monday morning we called the same firms to see if they had any cancellations, and they did not. Kimberley at Sprinkler Logic understood our problem put us on their emergency list. Within a half hour we got a call that they were sending Bryan right away. He installed a shutoff valve in the backyard and replaced both sprinkler valves.
