We had a Retaining Wall, Pet Turf area, Putting green/fringe, a main turf area, and concrete walkways put in. We did however had a synthetic turf issue where the turf had imperfections on it, (not caused by Advanced Pavers), Lucy & Edgar handled it professionally working with the manufacturer, the issue was remedied quickly. Edgar & Lucy went above and beyond my expectations with this issue leaving us very satisfied with the project. I recommend Advanced Pavers to anyone looking for a talented landscaping company. He was extremely professional in person and understood what direction we wanted to take along detailing what services he could provide for what we're looking to do. We met November 2024 and unfortunately could not pull off the project immediately and had to postpone for 12 months and not once was John bothering us after about the project. Fast forward to a year later, we now had the opportunity to start the project and within 18 working days, excavation, concrete, pouring, and final landscaping was all finished and wrapped up for our backyard, courtyard, and front yard project without any hiccups. His excavation team which included himself working every day, his concrete team/landscaping crew ex extremely efficient and professional, each and every day. After doing some research, I found The Grounds Company and decided to reach out -- best decision we made! Sebastian, the owner, is incredibly professional and just an all-around great guy. He came out for a consultation, walked the entire yard with us, and within a few hours we had a clear, itemized estimate that was very reasonable. The breakdown included everything: overgrown weed removal, tree trimming, debris haul-away, and even stump removal. Rain caused a couple of delays, but Sebastian was always quick to communicate and had us rescheduled within days. On the day of service, Sebastian and another crew member arrived earlier than scheduled and got right to work. They worked fast, efficiently, and did a tremendous job transforming the yard. What used to be an overgrown, cluttered mess is now clean, open, and dog-friendly. Our dog was absolutely stoked once the work was done -- the backyard is officially his turf now! When I decided to redo my backyard, I consulted with several contractors. My primary goals were to…read morereplace an aging deck and to cover the yard in pavers reducing the weed potential, which had been an ongoing problem for years. I chose pavers because they have a better track record for longevity than concrete. When I got back the proposals, I appreciated that the one from Forever Green Cali reflected everything I had mentioned in our initial meeting and had the best price. It was clear that attention had been paid during the meeting. Once selected as the contractor, the work began pretty quickly, nailing down details, making selections, identifying the things to stay, etc. The demolition of the existing deck and cleanup of the weeds went fairly quickly. And there were a lot of weeds. The rest of the work of preparing the foundation and sand and then laying the pavers went very quickly as well. Their employees worked very hard and with precision. I had an existing orange tree that was remaining and I really liked the outline that was made around it, including the darker accent pavers. I wanted a tree on the other side of the yard and I had failed to emphasize where I wanted it. When I asked about making a change to pavers already laid out in order to adjust for the tree, Firas was quick to accommodate me, and his employee made the change in no time. This cut out mimics the cut out for the orange tree and really complements it. As a novice at this sort of thing, I appreciated the good suggestions Firas made throughout the process. He and his team were very easy to work with. Part of this process included using their landscape designer to design the planting beds that were around the perimeter. She really took into consideration the kinds of plants I liked and the color scheme that I wanted. After our trip to the nursery, she provided a schematic so that I could anticipate what it would look like and also serve as a guide for the planting of the yard. I absolutely love the result. It is precisely what I wanted. I love the patio that replaced the deck. The edge is trimmed in a darker bullnose paver that makes it visually clear that there is a step down and the lights under the step emphasize this transition. Having broken my arm in the yard five months ago, this is a safety feature that I really appreciate. My backyard is now a much safer place to be which was a primary incentive for this entire project. Did I mention that I love my backyard? It's now a calm and tranquil place to relax. I cannot recommend Forever Green Cali highly enough. If I were to ever have another yard that needed assistance, I would definitely use them again.

Had to email them to tell them after a month we never heard anything back. Then they just emailed with no verbiage of our quote. It felt like they virtually just threw us a piece of paper. Victor came by when he said he would, answered all my questions, gave me some thoughtful options, and followed up with a fair estimate. They are busy so scheduling the job took a while. His dad, Sergey, is a true craftsman. He kept the plants safe while removing a bunch of turf with his mini excavator. The DG he installed is flat and even, he returned all the drip lines as they were. The new hose line he installed is clean, sturdy and works great. I had a leak in my sprinkler system and tried to fix it myself. Unfortunately, I caused the sprinkler system to turn on and couldn't find a way to shut it off. I called Vicktor and he came out right away. He had to hunt around, but he managed to find the shut off, fix the leak, replaced the batteries on my system, and even re-programmed it for me to operate the way I want it too. We had plants dying because the drip wasn't working in the front yard. I contacted Sprinkler Techs on Saturday afternoon. We received a response timely on Saturday. They would have come on Monday, but I wasn't available at all that day. They showed up as scheduled on Tuesday and diagnosed the problem. Called Sprinkler Works and talked to the owner, Michael...he was in my area working and came out within a couple hours. He did a THOROUGH walk around testing all my sprinkler and drip zones, he let me know what he suggested and gave me what I considered a very reasonable estimate for about 2-2 1/2 hours of work. He was able to schedule me in 2 days later. His team showed up and fixed everything in about 1.25 hours and surprised me with a bill less than I was quoted. When does that ever happen?!!? They worked efficiently, left no messes, and tested everything and reset and programmed my timer. Excellent service and I will use them again...I saw their reviews on Yelp which is why I called them.

He did a ton of unnecessary digging, used impermeable plastic in the system, and didn't even cap a drain. On top of that, he piled the plants he dug out right onto my dwarf blood red Japanese maple -- some were literally sitting on the branches. I fired him before he could make things worse. Would not recommend.
