I recently bought a home that have tall redwood trees with branches extending over my roof, as well as a lemon tree over the roof. I know having tree limbs on the roofis not good for the roof and also was allowing rats easy access into my attic. Hal pruned all the trees back and even pruned my two ornamental pear trees that needed pruning too. He gave me some tips on my irrigation that is saving me water and helping my landscaping. I hired Peace Tree to do general pruning of all the trees in my yard (there are 7). My main concern was just keeping them shaped nicely and away from my house (a few are too close, and had limbs that were way too large for me to attempt safely). Very reasonable. WE WOULD DEFINITELY HIRE THEM AGAIN. Shortly after purchasing our house we discovered that the mature ornamental pear tree in our back yard was an utter mess. It had been suffering from deferred maintenance (i.e., pruning) for a long time. We had hired two other arborists who charged a lot of money to chop portions of the tree, rather than prune it in an intelligent way.
