I live in Folsom after moving in to help my elderly father. The irrigation system was a mess with several leaks and a drip system that just sprayed all over the place or not at all. Called Sprinkler Works and talked to the owner, Michael...he was in my area working and came out within a couple hours. He did a THOROUGH walk around testing all my sprinkler and drip zones, he let me know what he suggested and gave me what I considered a very reasonable estimate for about 2-2 1/2 hours of work. He was able to schedule me in 2 days later. His team showed up and fixed everything in about 1.25 hours and surprised me with a bill less than I was quoted. When does that ever happen?!!? They worked efficiently, left no messes, and tested everything and reset and programmed my timer. Excellent service and I will use them again...I saw their reviews on Yelp which is why I called them. read more

Mike and Josh are the best at their profession! Simply the BEST! They don't leave a stone unturned and will even give you a tutorial so you have some knowledge of sprinklers and its history. It's as if they can walk right into ur place and immediately know the issue without even touching anything. I can't say enough about their service. Everything you're looking for a job well done and then some. Not to mention they are so kind. You can't go wrong with Sprinkler Works! read more

I've been using Sprinkler Works since 2014. They installed all the drip lines in my back yard. They installed a new water line and drippers to trees in our field. Now, whenever I need new lines or repairs (I have a knack for accidentally digging into the 5/8 inch tubing, I text Mike and he has his crew out in a day or two. It's wonderful to have a reliable, reasonable, responsive expert to depend on when it can be a night mare if you don't know who to call. read more

I have used Sprinkler Works at least 5 times over the last 12 years at several houses. A company you can trust that is truly customer service oriented! read more

Mike was fantastic! Great work. Explained everything step by step. Very transparent. Great work product. Highly recommend!

Now our go-to contractor for irrigation. Well-priced and extremely knowledgeable and passionate about irrigation systems.

Sprinkler works are absolutely amazing to work with. They are knowledgeable and very professional. Instantly trustworthy. They were able to install a new Rainbird control panel and download app on my phone with custom features explained in details. Also changing a few sprinkler heads all under 30 minutes. They didn't need to order any parts. They had everything on hand ready to go. Thank you for a great customer experience. read more

Great service, honest pricing. Have used this company multiple times and will in the future.

Let me first say the work they did was very good. Needed sprinkler system repaired and upgraded. The guys were running late getting to our appointment and the owner called to update the ETA. The guys were knowledgeable and friendly. Also includes a 90 day warranty. The only issue I have is the cost. There were two guys who spent 3 hours. That was billed to me at $155 per hour. Add on the $85 service call and 3 hours of work cost $550. Probably more than double what it should have been Again, the work was good, but I suggest you find out what the hourly service charge will be before hiring them. read more

Can't think more highly of Mike Laschalt and his company. We inherited an aging drip system in the flower garden of the house that we bought two years ago in Citrus Heights. We've put off work on it because of what we thought would be more than we wanted to face. S-Works first checked the operation of the Hunter Pro-C controller, then used some lines that we had, blocked useless ones, put in new ones with 360 degree sprayers and drips, and patched a leaking line. Total: $270 The service that we received was well worth the cost. read more

Called Mike - he was at a job but still made time to come by after his job was done. Very knowledgeable and able to fix our issue in an hour. read more

Great communication, easy scheduling and on time. Very professional and helpful! Reasonable price for sprinkler consulting and repair.

This is simply the BEST sprinkler services out there. Michael, the owner, came to my place ans checked everything thoroughly, explained the problems in a very professional and knowledgeable manner, did the work in a reasonable amount of time and charged an amount that felt deserved and proportional to the work. I can not recommend him enough. I rarely encounter service providers like that. read more

Highly recommend Sprinkler Works! Mike squeezed my appointment in-between his busy schedule and showed up at my house 30 minutes later. He instantly knew the issue with my sprinkler head and fixed it on the spot, along with a few other sprinklers. It was also reasonably priced! I'll definitely recommend Sprinkler Works to anyone else and will use them in the future. Thank you, Mike and team! read more

Mike did a great job at a very reasonable price. It wasn't a huge project - just replacing about 20 feet of line that had deteriorated in the direct sun. He did a nice job of replacing the feeder line and boosting the individual drips out to the plants we have. Then he buried the entire line under exiting decorative bark, so it won't take such a beating from the sun going forward. Pleasant, punctual, professional. read more

Great service and responsive. (Answered the phone directly) Came as promised and fixed leak, re-wired the sprinkler timer and replaced the valves. read more

Mike and Josh did a great job of fixing my sprinkler system at a reasonable price. I am going to hire them again to do more work for me. I would recommend them to others in the Sacramento area. read more

Had one broken sprinkler head in front lawn and asked neighbors for a recommendation for a repair person. All three said Sprinkler Works. Had them out and they tested my 9 zones, repaired some old stuff I knew needed to be addressed. 2 guys 2 hours $200 and I'm ready for Spring/Summer. Very very happy with their work. I even wrote a Facebook post about them. read more

Definitely got off to a rough start. Left a message saying I was in no rush and describing my issues...week and a half later, no call back. Called again, said he never got my message, but scheduled them to come the next day between 1pm and 3pm, so I worked from home to facilitate. No call, no show. Left a message at 4pm. Called me the next morning before I could call them again, and explained he transcribed my number wrong, and was by my place within the hour. Got a new sprinkler head dug and installed, they fixed a solenoid/valve, and set up my automatic watering schedule for me. Done in under an hour. Ultimately I would recommend. You just might need to be a little more proactive than I was. read more

Sprinkler works is honest and reliable. Mike is helpful and so detailed, always take time to explain. We have found our guy! We highly recommend this business. The best of Sacramento! read more

If you need a good sprinkler company, my suggestion is Sprinkler Works. I've used other companies that have run up big bills with shoddy work. Fortunately, I found Sprinkler Works. The owner, Mike, and his crew do a full tune-up for a very reasonable price. What's really nice is that they haven't suggested work on things I don't need fixed, nor have they gouged me on price. Highly recommended read more

This is the second time they've done work for me. Mike and Josh helped me convert the lawn irrigation system to be ready for drip irrigation. Also did a few valve repairs and gave me a quick tutorial on my Orbit programming box. Everything came out great and I'll use them again. read more

Work is good according to my husband. They come when needed. Been using them for 3 years; just wish it's a little cheaper.

Josh and Peter were here on time, fixed the leaky valve, proactively replaced the diaphram in the second valve, and answered my questions. It was just what was needed. The repair has a 90 day warranty. I'm relieved the valve didn't need to be replaced, and I will call them when that becomes necessary down the road. Recommended. read more

I had a leaky backflow valve assembly for my drip system, so I called around for repairs; while others were booked up for weeks or didn't respond, Mike answered the phone and said he could get the hard-to-find valve and be out next week. He was so busy (a good sign!) he sent Oscar out to do the work. Oscar did a great job and rebuilt the assembly good as new, leak-free. The price was very fair, even 1/2 of what another quoted. I had a minor issue afterwards to ask Mike about, and he came out the next day and repaired a leaky drip-line nearby, no charge since it related to the overall job. Sprinkler Works is a first-rate outfit, customer service is #1 for them, and I would use them again and highly recommend them. read more

I've used Mike and his crew for about ten years. He is great! His work is always reasonably priced and of good quality. I'd give more than five stars if I could. read more

Professional, showed up on time fixed the problem, reasonable price would use them again

Mr. Mike is very honest and knows what he is doing. He saved me $500 because some other landscapers said i had a leak meanwhile it was my neighbor's. This is how you keep return customers. Thank you so much. read more

Almost a month ago, this guy failed to keep his appointment with me then tried to blame me and even accused me of being the competition when I posted my review. I thought I'd heard the last of him. Tonight I get a vulgar cryptic text message from him. I suspect his true character is coming out in this message. I attached a screen shot of the message so I hope you can see it. It's pretty bad. read more

I had a broken sprinkler and the guy who came out was very professional and got the job done. I think his name was Dave. I can't remember, sorry. The owner Mike responded quickly and gave a fair estimate. read more

I'd give Mike 100 stars if I could. He owns the business and truly represents his craft! He called before he arrived on the day he said he would, he taught me a number of things about my system and set up, he replaced only the parts that needed replacing at a great price and gave me the peace of mind that I was looking for that my lawn will continue to be happy for years to come. If anything goes wrong in the future, Mike will be my first and only call! read more

He showed up right away and was polite and fixed sprinklers that day. Reasonable pricing, very knowledgeable.

I live in Folsom now and called Mike. He came out the same day to fix our sprinkler valves. He is very knowledgeable and gave me lots of information about setting the timers and making sure everything runs smoothly. I appreciate that he just charged the service fee and did not try to sell me things we did not need. read more

Would give 10 stars if possible. Great guy and hard worker. Fit me in after an appointment late in the day on short notice. Fixed my sprinkler valves/system and caught an issue in the drip system. Most people want to do the work and leave but me being a new homeowner, I have a lot of questions and wanted to know how everything worked so I could troubleshoot or fix it myself in the future. He took the time to explain what was wrong and how to fix items without needing to call him back. He also charged me more than a reasonable price. He is honest and I won't work with anyone else in the future on my larger projects. I would highly recommend Mike and his guys! read more

I got a recommendation from NextDoor for Sprinkler Works. Mike left my home several times without finishing the work, then charged me almost $80 just for the visit when he returned to finish what he started. Each and every time he came to do work, I'd end up with more problems, including him breaking things, then charging me for what he broke! He would do things without telling me, then after he was done, he'd tell me what he did, and charge me a lot for things I never agreed to. One time he removed a sprinkler without my knowledge, and now I have a big brown spot on my lawn, and my flowers all died as a result. Unfortunately, his modifications were NOT anything close to what I wanted, and now I have a big mess in both my front and back yard. I do NOT recommend this company at all. read more

This review is quite late. I had work done in my front yard ibn October of 2018 and just now am getting around to writing a review! Sorry, Mike! Please don't let that in any way make you think I was displeased with the service! After requesting a quote on Yelp in October, I received a call back from Mike Laschalt very quickly, I believe the next day. We scheduled an appt. within a few days. On the day of service, Eben and a co-worker (Sorry, can't remember your name), arrived on time and ready to work. I had received other quotes but the couple of other companies that had come out all tried to get me to totally redo the entire front sprinkler system. I had already put several thousand dollars into the back yard in the summer and I wasn't anxious to spend another couple of thousand on the front yard! I had explained to Mike that I just wanted to get the sprinkler heads replaced and adjusted for now. He never tried to upsell me. When Eben spoke to me on the day of the repairs, he had already been briefed. He took a good look at the front lawn and located all of the head locations which was not very easy. Some of them were completely buried. He changed out all of the broken heads and tested the system. It turned out that we actually had a couple of broken pipes which he quickly located and repaired. After that, the system was working perfectly. I have nothing but good things to say about this friendly, local business. Great service, very affordable rates! I will definitely use them again in the future! Pleasure doing business with them. read more

Sprinkler Works is about as good as they get. Mike showed up early on a Saturday afternoon, ran through a complete check on my sprinkler valves, wiring and timer to diagnose an intermitent problem and left me with instructions to complete the test. This is the third time I've used his services. If you have a sprinkler problem, call Mike. read more

Mike did a great job replacing the valves on a very old system. It was not a routine replacement and I appreciate the time and effort he made to fix the system correctly. He was professional, good communication skills, did the work in a timely fashion and was a reasonable price. I highly recommend him. read more

Based on a high recommendation from my neighbor, I called Mike and we set up an appointment for next week. He called today saying he had some free time. I said come over and he was here within half an hour. Mike and his associate were friendly, liked my doggy, and were very knowledgeable. He quickly diagnosed (operator error) the sprinkler control problems and fixed and reprogrammed it. Then he examined each sprinkler in my five zones; most were OK, but some needed replacement and others just needed adjustment. Then Mike explained all the work they did, explained the new controller settings (more frequently but using less water), and was sure I understood all I needed to know. And his work comes with a guarantee, and I thought his price was very reasonable. I am very pleased. Highly, highly recommended. Thank you. read more
