I had reserved time specifically for Dimitri's scheduled visit, so I was frustrated when he cancelled last-minute without any explanation. He called right at the time he was supposed to arrive. I suppose he could have no-showed without any call whatsoever, so I'll give 2 stars instead of 1. I can only comment on scheduling and communication. I have no idea about the quality of his work if he does show up. Update given the business owner's reply: I was a hopeful customer and he cancelled on me. Instead of finding narratives to externalize blame, Dimitri could instead have a gracious response or make a commitment to improve scheduling or logistics so he doesn't set appointments he cannot keep. read more

I scheduled a consultation with Prestige Irrigation yesterday for today between 4-6 PM. Dmitriy confirmed, I shared my contact info, and I added it to my calendar. Instead of honoring the appointment, he called me at 9 AM, and by 10 AM he canceled entirely--claiming he "hadn't heard back." When I replied at 10:15, reminding him our appointment was for later in the day, he was dismissive and even insinuated I had read his message and ignored it. Canceling a confirmed appointment with less than a day's notice, then blaming the customer, is unacceptable and incredibly unprofessional. I would not recommend this company. If this is their idea of customer service, I can only imagine what their repair work looks like. read more

I found Dmitriy because I contacted one of the other top rated irrigation specialists in Sac area and they weren't available and asked me to contact Prestige Irrigation instead. That was the first good sign. We had a few leaks I wanted fixed, plus the system had never been inspected in years. He arrived on time and fixed the leaks on the spot, and showed me how old our sprinkler valves were and it made sense they were beyond needing replacement. The communication was top notch-- even when the project couldn't be done because we couldn't figure out where the water access was, he kept me in the loop twice daily until he returned 2 days later to finish the job. He dug out the water access hidden beneath some plants for years from the previous homeowner (thanks for finding it!) and was able to install 4 new sprinkler valves for us at a super reasonable price. I called a few other companies and about pricing and his price beat the others. He is friendly, takes his time and showed me how everything works before and after. Funny story, the next door neighbor's sprinkler valves started gushing right as he was doing our job and he was able to help them out at the same time. He was professional through and through. Dimitry was quick to reply to my service request for a repair to my existing sprinkler system. Unfortunately, we did not get beyond that because of his inability to actually stick to an appointment time and show up to do the estimate. On one of the initial communications, he messaged after 10pm that he had availability to meet a couple days later. I replied an hour later approximately 11pm and he messaged me the following day at 9am that time slot was already filled. Doubtful, but fine. Next, he then offered to meet the upcoming Friday or Saturday. We made an appointment for Saturday between 8-9 am which was confirmed again on Wednesday. The night before we are to meet, Friday at 4:30pm I get a voicemail and message, that he needs to reschedule the Saturday appointment now for Monday and that he will be out of town until Sunday. Really?! Who does that? Why make an appointment if you will be out of town? This guy does not want to work or had something else more important come up. He is completely unprofessional and for a name like "prestige" it's anything but that. His time is more significant than yours. He can disregard you, he can disrespect you and cancel on you last minute which is totally unacceptable. I would have made other arrangements with other contractors who actually wanted to work instead of getting the run around from this guy. read more
