Decent amount of cardio equipment but if you come during the busy times (after work, after 10am on the weekend) you might have a tough time getting anything. My favorite part is the cardio mezzanine which overlooks the gym floor. Each cardio machine has a TV with cable and even a channel devoted entirely to watching the playroom where kids can be babysat while their parents work up a sweat- made especially for overprotective mothers. The classes are decent- I used to love Sonia's Pilates class (you could almost never get a spot to put your mat) but I stopped going when she started talking more and teaching less. Also Buddy's Cardio Funk is a great laugh, fun way to work out. I have taken 2 spin classes- one with Sonia who is a drill sergeant and Merri who's a lot of fun but none of them match up to the teacher I had in DC (she made spin actually FUN, which is nearly impossible). For those of you who like protein shakes and the like- there's a small bar where they make your pleasure after your workout. Water and other drinks as well as granola and powerbars are sold at the front. All in all a 2.5 but I'll give em a 3. They certainly work hard enough for it. also make a point to thank Darren (I believe that's his name) he's the custodian. He's a doll and makes everything so clean with a smile on his face. He deserves recognition.

Never had a 10 min neck and shoulder massage as part of a hydrofacial. Technician sat quietly more time then working on my facial. Then at the end, she massaged my hair with the cream she just put on my face! Good thing I wasn't going anywhere important after. She never spoke once or told me what she was doing or using on my face. This tech seemed to have "short-cuts" and needs to be re-trained.
