This club was very clean and the staff were very welcoming. Check in was swift. I took the intro class which went well. They offer packages and you can pay for individual classes as well. I bought another single class but it has been hard to book a class at this site due to the classes filling up fast. I will definitely return to take more classes. I may try other Club Pilates sites. read more

I wanna love this place so much but as a healthcare worker my schedule isn't consistent and I'm lucky I get a month of it at a time.. even when I try to book weekends they have like 5 classes the whole day and 9/10 times they are booked. The place is clean, the instructors I've had the pleasure of meeting so far are very kind and helpful but unfortunately their "booking" is terrible and you're lucky you get to use the 8 for the month you get. I usually work nights (does change time to time) so usually the only classes left are 7am or 530am and I get home from my shifts by 11/1130pm .. so yeah not making those. lol I do wish they had a bigger studio that held more than just 12 & I do wish they had a better booking system. Or a minimum let the credits roll over. I am basically just throwing away 250$ a month and waiting til I can break my contract. And their weekend classes end by like 3pm and obvi those prob get booked fastest. So it's become impossible unfortunately I'm sure if you don't have a job or if you work a traditional 9-5 this may be a good fit but as someone who has a schedule that changes often .. even a full month out a time of schedule still isn't soon enough to get 8 classes booked for the month. I assume it's the people who "get first dibs" for paying even more a month. Idk like i said I wanna love it but their booking system isn't a good one and such small classes. read more

Great staff and studio. Easy to book appointments and great workouts without pain! I highly recommend.

I find it completely unacceptable that management is unwilling to waive an extra month of membership for a previous member who does not live in the area. I was encouraged to freeze my membership after attempting to cancel to "lock in my rate." I considered this and froze membership instead of initially canceling. The gym is currently placing a sum of 5x for collections since I disagreed that I should not have to pay an additional month for classes that I will be unable to attend. To charge an extra month after cancelation without considering any alternative is unacceptable. I am appalled that $139 is now turning into $500 worth of collections for classes that I did not even take. I would never recommend anyone to join this club for their predatory policies with cancelation. read more

I would avoid this place at all cost ....Wife has gone here in the past as well had a membership did not work out due to poor management and impossible scheduling so we canceled its been about a year she gave it another shot . Still a very disappointing place I would not recommend. All of the classes are booked out for weeks in advance with large waitlists . Would not pay for this place upfront they will not give you your money back on the credits when you cant get into classes because they are all booked. A lot of other local Pilates places that treat you like a customer and not a dollar sign don't get sucked into this corporate scam shop. read more

You are correct that waitlist Usually move fast - but as a consumer I don't enjoy being on a wait list and I don't like to be focused on checking waitlist to see if I got into a class. I guess you could say I like to have a schedule - I like to make reservations,plan ahead; that's me. While I know everyone has different priorities and some may not like being locked in to a schedule- it is diversity / individuality helps to make our world an interesting place. I understand and relate to the mantra : you can't please them all! So my review was really geared toward a person who wants a scheduled time rather than a waitlist!!! I don't enjoy the feeling that I must hope that someone else cancels- and I don't like checking the class lists - that's me - and I understand the mantra that you can't please everyone everyone! In the meantime I've been able to find a place where the class schedule is more regulated and yet still has the flexibility to accommodate variations! Lmk if and when things change!!! FYI! THEY HAD THIS REMOVED! I was walking with my husband at a fair when this man (I assume the owner or manager) ran in front of us and started fat shaming us! He was yelling at us to put down our food and to join his club. After reading previous reviews it seems to be a habit for this man to do this, no wonder they had it removed. I am new at Pilates and contemplated whether to commit. I am so happy I did , and I am thrilled with Club Pilates in Oceanside New York run by Allen and Pamela. Their customer service is wonderful and so are the teachers. The girls at the front are great. I would like to commend them all. Kelsey is always patient and very helpful, and so are all the other girls that are part of the team. The teachers are great too. They are very knowledgeable , patient, and caring as they guide us through a rigorous and rewarding experience. I am gaining confidence and strength as I persevere. I was tempted to give up, but like all good things in life , persistence wins the prize. I highly recommend Club Pilates in Oceanside. It's a wonderful experience. read more

FYI-THEY TRIED TO GET THIS REVIEW TAKEN DOWN! This review is regarding my interaction with Club Pilates when they advertised at the Long Beach boardwalk on Sunday August 1st 2021. I walked by their table with my husband and infant daughter while they were advertising via brief statements when people walked by. When we past, the advertiser, a older Caucasian man began then quickly stopped talking. Then he proceeded to insult my body saying "you know she's not doing Pilates" while a younger Caucasian male laughed, then he began with racial implications saying " don't get me started on THOSE people". The man either didn't realize or care that I was in earshot of their insulting conversation. While I personally don't care how a closed minded bigot feels about me, it was my duty to speak up about their lack of professionalism and true feelings of people who are physically unlike them while representing this business. I have worked in customer service my whole adult life and need to comment on Bari of the Oceanside location. As I have had the displeasure of dealing with her about 6-7 times, I believe she needs to be re-trained in the manner of how to speak to clients as she is nasty and disrespectful in her tone. She clearly did not want to be bothered everytime I spoke with her, whether it was on the phone or in person. Her attitude definitely played a part in my decision to end my membership. Scheduling is horrible. The classes fill up and your stuck in the wait list! I cancelled my membership and was supposed to be able to take the 4 classes I had paid for, but now that it's a new month I see they canceled my classes that were booked, even though my billing date isn't until the 9th!
