They totally missed the originally promised date of getting it done in two weeks. When they finally said it's done. I came to the shop, examined the skis and questioned if any work was done since there is no signs of binding remounted on the skis. The person manning the front desk (refused to give a name when asked) said confidently the work is done and made up reasons for why I can't see it. I fortunately had a picture from last winter showing exactly the positions of the binding. (Attached as Old). When compared with the pic taken at the shop (attached as New), it clearly showed no work was done to move it back. No apologies was provided by the front desk young man. I asked the man to write down a note for the technician since so much miscommunications have happened. He initially refused. When I asked to speak with the manager. He also refused. When I asked "Erik", another staff to help, this man told him to stop as well. Skiing is a high risk sport, and ski bindings are one of the most important part in keeping the gear safe to users. Their technician should get their certification/license canceled and this shop should be barred from working on technical sports gear in order to prevent blatant mistakes like this to happen again. Based on the reaction of the staff and lack of admission of their fault, I don't see any hope they can or want to correct their actions and keep their customers safe. The same report is made to the Better Business Bureau.

During this visit, I was browsing for cycling shorts and looking around other sections of the store--like I usually do when I shop for outdoor or camping gear. As I walked near the kayaks, an employee named Chad suddenly shouted across the store, "Are you OK?" in a loud, almost accusatory tone. I wasn't sure if he was speaking to me, but when I asked, he said yes. It made me feel like I was being watched suspiciously, even though I was simply browsing. When I went to the register, I mentioned that his tone had startled me. Instead of apologizing, he just nodded and made a "hmm, hmm, hmm" sound while looking away--completely dismissive and unkind. There was no "sorry," no acknowledgment, and when I paid, he didn't even say "thank you" or show the slightest courtesy. Immediately after, I saw him speak to another customer with a big smile and a polite tone. The difference in how he treated us was obvious and upsetting.

I dropped off the bike on May 7, 2026 for a simple flat tire repair in the Bellevue store, and even after more than 16 days, the repair is still not completed. My son has missed riding with his friends during some of the few sunny days we get here in Redmond, WA. For over 14 days, the store kept saying they were waiting for a tire tube from the manufacturer. Then, 2 days ago, the store representative said their purchase order shows "complete," but they still have not received the tire tube. The only options provided were: 1. Continue waiting with no estimated completion date, or 2. Take the bike back unrepaired. I also contacted customer service and requested escalation to the store manager. Unfortunately, the store manager never spoke to me directly and instead had another employee repeat the same automated responses without providing any real resolution. Very disappointing experience, especially after purchasing the protection plan expecting reliable service and support.

About a year ago, I ended up purchasing two new arm-friendly tennis rackets (Pro Kennex 7g) that Steve recommended after I described my arm issues and the type of racket I usually like to hit with. I've tried out about half a dozen demo rackets that Kick Serve let my try out at no cost before ending up with the 7g, which I'm loving! Several of my friends purchased tennis rackets from Kick Serve Tennis in the past year. The prices are extremely competitive with even the cheapest online retailers.
