I visited this location recently to have some golf clubs re-gripped. I looked them up online first and saw they had the grips I was looking for, at a reasonable price, and offered free installation with the purchase. I wanted to check other competitors on my way so I stopped at another nearby golf store which had a slightly higher price and zero customer service. I was delighted when I entered Puetz that the store manager asked me right away what I was looking for and then proceeded to help me determine what size I needed. After I made the decision to purchase the grips and get them installed, the next day I got a call from the repair technician. He informed me my extensions in my shafts were just spinning around in there and I needed them re-epoxied. He offered to do this service for a dollar more per club! In the end, I was blown away by the customer service at Puetz and the results of working with them. I highly recommend any golfing needs for you to visit a Puetz location! read more

Unimpressive. This was the second time I have walked into this place and not been so much as greeted. Today I walked in to look at my first set of irons. I walked straight over to that department, walked around... no one said anything. Went and looked at the drivers then the clothes and then proceeded to walk out without anyone ever saying a word to me. Now understand there were 2-3 guys up at the front desk just talking to each other and ignoring the store. I proceeded to head up the street to the competition and dropped $800.00. I may not have been a pro golfer or big sale but I would think that you would have wanted to sell me something. My advice, someone needs to do a customer service class. read more

Nice selection of golf shoes for ladies, but the customer service was non-existent. No one spoke to us until we were standing at the front of the store as my husband wanted to try a driver. Then, one of the 5 men standing in the cash register area finally asked if we needed help. Another gentleman in the practice area helped my husband. This same person took the payment for my shoes as 4 others looked on, chatting and scrolling on their phones. We have experienced poor customer service before at this location. Great service and experience while I came in for iron fitting. JR I believe was the name of the employee helping me he was quite enjoyable to chat with. We ended up landing on a set of Ping irons set and a Maverick driver. Took them out for a game this last weekend and had a great time with the combination. I am a new golfer and this was my first experience at a Golf Shop since I bought my clubs used off Craigslist and at thrift stores. I needed to get my driver shaft replaced and also wanted to get fitted. Jeff is the definition of genuine and honest customer service. He took me through my fitting giving me quality information, not just fancy talk that would go over my head. He answered all my questions with ease and took his time to explain things. At the end of the fitting he got me set up with an amazing deal on a shaft replacement (I'd also thank the other older gentleman who he talked to to make it happen, maybe it was Doug?) Got a wedge fitting with Albert. He was very patient and brought me every wedge I wanted to test. Sat with me there for about an hour telling me about the pros and cons of the different grinds. 10/10 I would recommend asking for him when you go! They reshafted my old driver and let me reshaft it again, after I wanted a little more kick, for no charge and did it while I waited for 15 minutes. Steve is an expert golfsmith and knows the game as well. The entire staff at the Bellevue store has been great to deal with and are very knowledgeable about the game and equipment. Ended up paying to repair damaged club. Following fitting, went to first lesson to find out the clubs were wrong and needed to be returned. After this extremely frustrating experience, no money back. I am new to golf, but have been a regular at the driving range and on the course, so I decided to order the Wilson Profile SGI set. Due to the pandemic, stores were shut down so I decided to order online. However, due to UPS error (and NOT an error of Puetz), the set did not make it to me, however the team at Puetz is AMAZING. They were extremely responsive and helpful to make sure I got my new set and was taken care of. They are truly willing to help and have amazing customer service. Puetz Golf in Bellevue is amazing! Freeway close location, clean and well organized store. Everything a golfer needs. Specifically the manager, Jeff Kraft, is top notch. Even though though I'm a beginner/hacker, buying basic gear, like a Sunday bag, etc. Jeff gave me VIP customer service. I checked out a couple of other local golf equipment stores, they don't come close to to Puetz. i'm looking at adding a couple of used clubs, and Jeff explained I can view the selection online at their Seattle location, then have clubs shipped at no cost to the Bellevue store, that I can check out with no obligation. I stopped by Puetz Golf in Bellevue to have new grips put on a couple of clubs. I was quickly approached by a salesperson who helped me, recommended a couple of grips but left me not knowing which would be the best grip for me. While I was standing there, another salesperson stopped and said you have a question. I asked again about the golf grips. He pulls out a couple of other recommendations. I ask which would you prefer and he held up one. He asked how does this feel? He asked what size golf glove do you wear? I told him, and he pulled out the same brand we were looking at but in a slightly larger diameter. He asks how does this feel compared to the other. I said this is it! Went to get fitted for a driver but honestly never got any real suggestions. I was expecting to try multiple shaft/loft combinations based on my numbers but that never happened. It was just me hitting balls in the simulator for 20 minutes with 3 different drivers and no modifications. I had never been fitted for a driver before so was really excited walking in, but was honestly disappointed with the lack of variation. I ended up buying the one that felt the best but can't help to think that my loft and shaft isn't optimized because it was never talked about or adjusted. read more

SOLD ME LEFT HANDED IRONS!!!! I went in yesterday evening and bought a new set of irons. Sales rep set me up to try one out. That was all good. But then when I paid for the irons they had brought me the left handed ones!!! Didn't realize it at the time - they switched the hands on me. Today morning I went to golf in the morning, showed up at the course, started practicing and realized Puetz gave me wrong handed irons. Total screwup!!! I had to get a rental set and wasted 30 min of playing time going back and forth at the course. Very frustrating!! Went back in and got them exchanged. UPDATED: got a call from the manager, he apologized and offered to pay me back the rental charge for the clubs at the course. Also offered an extra gift card for future purchases. Mistakes happen. First off, went in to just look around and received a full club fitting from Rich. There is much more space and looks better organized than the North Seattle location. If you want to match Rickie Fowler - they have tons of PUMA gear too! I'm not much of a fan, but was amazed at their selection. Also, working with Rich was pretty interesting. I don't play near as much as I used to and am thinking about getting new clubs that are more forgiving. He helped me try out a few and really gave me some good pointers. While I didn't buy the clubs (have to check with the boss), if I get the approval I will be buying them from Rich. Another note - you can buy the Ping Irons a few at a time for about $100/club. For those like myself who can't just buy a whole new set, it's a pretty novel idea to purchase club by club based on use. With the different SKU numbers on "your" set, PING can easily send you the matching 7-8-9, etc, to whatever club you already bought. Very impressed and will be back again. Would have given 5 Stars - maybe if I buy the clubs I will upgrade. read more

The Bellevue location of Puetz Golf Superstore is awesome! The second I walked in the store, I was greeted and asked what they could do for me. On this trip I needed to have my putter shortened and re-gripped. They did this for me in less than 10 minutes and did a great job. I even found a few extra golf essentials while I waited. :) The customer service is excellent. Everyone was friendly and helpful, including the customers who gave me information about the nearby golf courses to try. This location had a large selection of golf bags, clubs, and other accessories like shoes, tees, balls, etc. They had a lot of golf attire for men, but not as much for women. In one corner of the store, they even have a hitting area that's pretty cool. I am definitely going to go back to Puetz in Bellevue. read more

Pietz is a great box golf store. It's not the cheapest price that you can find but you can go in and check out a putter for an hour without some sales guy breathing down your neck so that you can take the time to find what you want. They have knowledgeable people who will answer your questions but they will no pressure you and I like that. Store is organized just fine. Large video golf area in the back for improving your game. Just got back from having Steve Creekmore help me select a great set of clubs. He spent a couple of hours watching me hit balls, trying new shafts and heads until I hit the sweet spot for both irons and woods. With the combo he built I was hitting balls consistently further and straighter. Can't wait to get these out on the course. He was very clear on the options and helped steer me to the best deals to meet my budget. Not pushy, just deep on facts and quality and detailed examination of my swing style and let me try everything out till I found what worked. The rest of the staff was also very helpful. Got fitted for a new driver by Sam Varon. Sam worked with me for nearly an hour with no brand leaning whatsoever. So happy with my fitting (Ping G400) that I bought the 3 wood too with the same custom shaft. Took them to the course for the first on course experience in Tucson and not only impressed myself but impressed my playing partners with fairway after fairway. What a horrible experience! Called for a specific putter and ask it to be held. Drove there to find they held the wrong one and the salesman was incredibly rude about it. Found a similar one and decided this might do so I got another rude interaction with the same salesman at the register. Should have stopped right there, I but really wanted to get this putter for my husband so I went through with the purchase. I was very upset about these interactions when I left so I decided to visit the golf store around the corner. Such a difference as their staff was so friendly and helpful! Ended up buying the same putter elsewhere and returning the original putter to Puetz the same day because I just couldn't bear to give my money and a sale (and likely a commission) to such a rude salesman. read more

Went there on 8/29/2014 in the late afternoon. Came in browsed for a minute or two and then headed over to look at their putters. I made eye contact with three different sales clerks while in the store. Only one of them acknowledged me by saying hello. I asked one of the clerks about a Ping putter and he told me he would send someone over in a minute to answer my question. The store was NOT by any means busy. I observed several other customers receiving personal service but for some reason I was forgotten. I waited around for several more minutes trying several putters in the practice area. I was ignored. I was fully prepared to pay good money for their $199.99 putter. Apparently no body wanted to sell me anything. I left after about 15 minutes of being ignored and I will not return. Plenty of other places to spend my golf $$'s on. read more

The lady working this morning (Saturday, 6/27) wearing a green tank with medium length brown hair was probably the most unfriendly and rude cashier I have ever witnessed. She was extremely unhelpful and didn't even pay attention to the man who was waiting at the counter before us for a question. She seemed to only care about wrapping up our sale and getting us out the door. Her cashier number on our receipt is 2180. I always like a local golf store. Puetz is a good one. Their selection of clubs, bags, putters, balls, grips, shafts, shoes, you name it, they have it. I liked their customer service. The guys at the front desk were very friendly. When I had my grips replaced, they were very nice and friendly in the way they recommended grips. They were also patient. They didn't walk out on me when they saw another customer. I like that. They also have good prices in their sales, and they have sales quite often. I stopped by Puetz in Bellevue for the first time a few weeks ago. Like a lot of newer golfers, I came in with a set of used irons that needed to be fitted. Michael B. was the first employee to help me out and he did a great job! He was easy going, knowledgable & very eager to help. After spending some time analyzing my swing and ball flight he built me several clubs until we came up with a plan to get my irons dialed in. He even helped me work on my swing! This was a very different experience from another golf store nearby, where all that employee wanted to do was sell me a new set of clubs. I will definitely be back to Puetz for all my golfing needs.
