My friend told me that I could buy the bulb at Knecht's and that they would even install it for me. I hadn't been in a Knecht's since I was a kid but it's the same as when I would go with my Dad. Rocky assisted me and for $7.99, I was on the road again. Excellent customer service and a very reasonable price. Thank you, Knechts!

But…read moredown side is I wanted this wiring harness that was literally probably 6 inches long put in then they brought up about a policy of outside customer parts, which to be honest I've never heard of that from private shops only like Les Schwab. And when they recommended a part I ask if they could send me the part number, and he said we don't do that we order it because you can just get one from the dealer. Anyway I think those 2 rules are weird, I don't wanna be mean but just plain stupid too. The BMW dealership in Eugene puts on parts I BUY from outside the dealership and they even SEND ME THE PART # bc they know I can get it cheaper online. It's comical that a dealership is more customer friendly. I don't know man their diagnostic work on my car was good and somewhat cheap, I think for about 2 hours of work they charged me 160 not bad. But those 2 rules just threw a curveball at me that I'm never gonna face or see again. Anyway Versionex shop is awesome they give me absolute 0 problems and they've done a ton to my cars. I just wanted to give this shop a try. I also heard Brooks auto doctor is good too, but I've never personally went there. But shoutout to the shops and i guess dealerships that let you bring your own parts and actually tell you the exact parts you need lol.

So despite the minor annoyance of them not being open on Fridays and the cringe inducing labor…read morerates they charge (we're talking up there with Porsche dealership type rates) I got the feeling they knew their shit and decided to settle in with them as my shop of choice. Initially my experience was great. They fixed a couple things another shop flubbed, and I thought I had found my home. As things went on i got the growing impression that they have zero interest in saving their customers money, charging me by the book on literally everything when I knew the job wasn't necessarily taking that much time. Again, exorbitant labor rates. I proceeded, and then i discovered that on the oil change they did for me, they overfilled my crankcase by at LEAST a quart. When I tried to get them to acknowledge this and make sure no harm had occurred because of their error (being very patient and kind in my communication) they got super defensive about it. This was the last straw for me. I didn't want to write this review, but as I search for a shop and have to make hard choices, I think it's important that the service providers of the Eugene area understand that enthusiasts will go to whatever lengths necessary to take their business to shops that are committed to excellent service and not fleecing their customers.

So he scheduled a appointment for the next morning. So I brought my coach back to them and once again they immediately got it in the shop and started working on it. Their service techs are professional, experienced and very knowledgeable. They found the problem pretty quickly and got it repaired. I was on the road in a few hours with a motorhome that went straight down the road and with good brakes. I sincerely appreciate the good old fashion quality customer service, at fare pricing. Updated Oct 19th 2016: I recently purchased a 2006 Marathon Coach and before leaving Oregon I brought it to Kaiser to have Mel check it out when I heard a unusual knocking sound in the front end. They immediately got it on the rack and did a full front end inspection. They found several issues with it that needed attention. Mel ordered the parts to be shipped UPS overnight and the next morning at 8:00am my coach was back on the rack and being taken apart waiting for the new components to be delivered by UPS and installed. It's rare to have a shop that will order parts with no deposit just based on your word and a handshake. Kaiser Brake is a good old fashion quality repair facility that offers great service and top notch highly qualified technicians. I am so grateful for the prompt customer service. Hands down a great customer service experience. Once again a big thanks to Mel and the staff at Kaiser Brake and Alignment for keeping my coach running straight down the road. Have a Blessed day !!!
