    Slimy cucumber
    Patricia P.

I have been wanting to try springbone kitchen for quite a while. I am a mega fan of all things, bone broth, and soups, especially when they are seed oil free. Stopped in on a Wednesday early evening to try a build-your-own bowl and beef broth. I was a little surprise by the total price in the end. But given the area it felt acceptable. I got a cauliflower rice bowl, topped with chicken thigh and a few vegetable toppings (3 included) which included cucumbers, kale and broccoli. There was an additional price for the cauliflower rice versus the regular rice they had. There is also an additional price for chicken that is not thigh meat. Overall, including the additional prices of my selection added up to a grand total of $25 and a few cents. When I tell you, I had high hopes for this bowl, I was really let down. The chicken was tiny, minced pieces that looked like they were scavenged from different chicken preps, quite unappealing like the cucumbers that looked like they were oversoaked in a marinade, which made them very sour and slimy . Anything they touched had a sour taste. I did not like the bowl at all. The cup of bone broth was good. A fair price for the labor that goes into making broth. $5.XX The service was friendly and straightforward. They also have a bit of seating in this location. They have to improve the composition of the bowl, it was a shock for me. Haven't had sloppy food I paid for in a while. Maybe I got got :,(

YUM! We ordered from here for lunch in the office. I got a vegan Caesar which was awesome and a spicy broth. The broth was great for my cough and the salad was very tasty. I added broccoli and sweet potato to it. Everything was seasoned so nicely. Can't speak to service but the ordering process was easy. Everything also came packaged nicely!

Loved finding this place to the best bone broth ( no aftertaste, wonderfully seasoned ) I will be back !!

Best bone broth ever and there are so many tasty & different combinations to choose from !

I popped in here as I was in the area and looking for something warming and healthy to start the new year off right. I've known about their bone broths for a while, but had never tried them until now as I wasn't sure they had vegan/vegetarian options, and was pleasantly surprised. I got the spicy miso broth and it was exactly what I needed--super soothing and delicious. The staff who were working there were very kind and even offered me a broth for free that I guess someone didn't want in their order anymore (unfortunately it wasn't a vegan one), but I'm hoping someone else was able to enjoy it. The space is pretty small, with one long communal table and a couple of bar seats facing the window, but I was able to spread out quite a bit as it wasn't super crowded when I was there. I would definitely come here again if in the mood for an inviting space and a healthy meal.

BYO bowl was really good , bone broth rice chicken thigh, broccoli, hummus, feta, pickled turnips, kale slaw. A little overpriced but very fresh.

Their lunch bowls are nothing special, and feel like an unfortunate Americanized version of delicious Asian dishes. I got the tofu vermicelli bowl, which was quite watery - the tofu was however quite flavorful. I did try some of my friend's broth, and it was good so I'd probably stick with their that given it's what they specialize in.

    Build-Your-Own Bowl

Not only is the food here good for you, it tastes great too! I opted for a "Build-Your-Own Bowl" & was able to choose my ingredients, but there are many other delicious bowls to choose from as well. I really enjoyed my meal & even had some left over to take with me. I love the atmosphere of this space as well, very cute & well-designed.

    Summer bowl

Very healthy place with bone broth , I always get the immunity broth when I start to feel sick. First time trying the bowl and really enjoyed the summer one with quinoa, Guac, red onions, broccoli, carrots, lettuce, kale - very nutritious but everything is pricey. It's a small place with limited seating, but enjoyed how quick everything came out.

It's no longer halal :( they still have two veggie options, which is shiitake roots and spicy vegan, which are pretty nice, but the beef and the chicken is no longer halal

    Bad hombre
    Meera M.

I was running late and needed a quick bite/drink to hold me over, so I chanced upon this place on my way to the train station. As a lover of bone broth, I was excited to try it. I got the Bad Hombre and it was so good and hearty! It only comes in medium or large sizes, which includes rice and chicken pieces. There was a generous amount of chicken and the broth-soaked rice was very tasty. It's a bit on the pricier side, but it's a great healthy to-go option. The space is tiny, with one large table, and the staff is friendly. I'll definitely come back to try their other offerings.

Tried to order online for 5 minutes and got various error messages. Finally it said to wait 5 minutes to avoid double ordering. I gave up.

The arancini was a standout: perfectly crisp on the outside, creamy inside, and served with a rich, delicious sauce that tied it all together. To start with the good: the arancini were perfectly passable, and the Sicilian pie was enjoyed by all. I would describe it as more of a Detroit style actually, with a super crispy crust and nice textural contrast. On the other hand, we did not enjoy the seasonal vegetable pie or the nepo pie. I generally really like this sort of no-cheese, umami-heavy pizza, but the nepo was so salty! I'm not sure what specific ingredient was missing, but missing it was. My hopes for a recreation of the rossa pie I enjoyed at Farina prior to their closure were dashed. As for the vegetable pie, the vegetables tasted like the frozen veggies one might find in what was once marketed as a "TV dinner". It was a shame, since the sauce of the white pie was otherwise pretty good.
