My wife and I had the worst doggy daycare/boarding experience in the past. We took our dogs to two places and they were both big disappointment. We had to do a lot of reading and research for our 3rd attempt.
First impression is everything to us. This place came highly recommended by my coworkers and friends. After seeing their website, which btw is well made and very professional looking. I went through their website page by page and learned quite a bit about the company, owner, staff, rates and that they're enviornmental friendly. Right away, I decided to see it for myself and checked out their facility. The staff that showed me around was very knowledgeable and I could feel how dedicated she was to her work and to the pets that were there.
The facility was clean starting from the outside, to the lobby, to the suites, to the internal play area, to the individual potty area, and to the massive outdoor play area. It didn't smell like dogs nor cats, it smelled really clean. I also like the idea that it's owned by a vet. I believe they also have their own vet if ever there's any emergency, our pets don't need to be rush elsewhere. After the tour, I decided to tell the staff about our dogs and their personalities/special needs.
She was very accomodating and friendly. She reassured me that our dogs will be well looked after. They may be a large facility, however, they're well staffed and that they give each dogs/cats/critters individual attention and daily cuddles. They're also focus on making sure all the pets are eating right by monitoring their meals and their bowel movement. Also, she said they're expanding their facility to take on more spaces starting this summer.
I was still a little skeptical, so I decided to take my dogs for a test run. Lo and behold, they loved the place. Upon picking them up, they looked clean just how I dropped them off, not roughed up at all and no sign of any kind of foul play with other dogs. They looked happy. They also have a pet transporter if needed. I was given a full report on how they did. We'll definitely use them for boarding.
