We found that at Treetops. The staff is so caring, and really got to know our dog's habits, and playmates. He never said our dog's name incorrectly (which happens at almost every other place we go with him), which proved to us that he cared enough to learn our dog's name. After a two week stint at Treetops, our dog was exhausted and elated. He was so happy running around with his friends, he almost didn't want to leave! Their prices are great, and the staff loves dogs. Great place to take your pooch.

Hello to all dog owners, I feel it's time to write my review…read moreabout my second experience in Treetops kennel with my sable German Shepherd by name Jasper from work line and intact at that time.I'll go back to Spring 2015 when I had to put my GS in Treetops kennel due to visit my mom in Europe.My dog was there for almost 2 weeks and when i came to pick him up he was jumping up to my shoulders and happy to see me.Unfortunately I had to put him down almost 3 weeks later it happen so fast due to his enlarge heart and so much body fluids in his lungs, on top of it vet did find fracture tooth.My dog was always a very healthy dog whole life and never slow down,but he lived in city,but not outside in a dog house.That kennel is not heated or close at nigh( during cold weather).Due to a very cold conditions he got very sick! I didn't have a friend/family network in the area to help with my animals when I went out of town AND my dog Cooper was fear aggressive so it made it just that much more nerve wracking to leave him with someone. After two failed attempts at a dog sitter via a app based service (2 no shows for meet and greets!) I no longer had confidence in trusting a stranger found by an app to come into my home and car for my pets. I searched for kennels and found High Tails - LIFE CHANGING! From the first phone call to the last visit every experience was outstanding. Cooper loved it so much that when i would pick him up he would not want to get in the car. He was a different dog after his time at High Tails. It was a confidence booster for him and a relief for me. He became much less fearful even outside his stays. Saul, the cat was a little more subtle in his excitement - but he seems happy and content every time I picked him up after a stay. I believe we had about 4 stays at High Tails. One at Christmas time that I booked with less than 2 weeks notice and they were able to accommodate at the last minute. We moved back to St. Louis, Missouri about two weeks after their last stay at High Tails and I can say I was genuinely sad to no longer have the option to bring my pets to this amazing facility! Don't hesitate! If you are looking for a exceptional kennel to board your pets, this is the place!

They don't provide any real report about your dog's wellbeing just generic words, "she's doing great," which was clearly unbelievably false. The kennels are worse than shelters. The condition of this place merits a free stay, not the absurd fee they charge. It's overpacked with dogs, nonstop barking, and clear signs of stress everywhere. Their so-called "privacy suite" is a flat-out lie. They do NOT follow your dog's needs. They claim each kennel has an outdoor run, They have to manually open it, so their statement that dogs can go out anytime is completely false. I told them my dog is a rescue with a history of neglect and abandonment, and I trusted them to keep her safe and supported. Instead, I picked her up in distress , injured, bleeding, and with her voice completely gone from what must have been nonstop barking and crying. EVEN THOUGH I PROVIDED THEM WITH HER SEDATIVES. She had made so much progress, and this experience set her back in every way. Blood was all over my car and the dog wash station from her injuries. It's heartbreaking and infuriating. The shelter she came from took better care of her than this place. I can't understand how businesses like this are allowed to keep operating. How do they sleep at night. Shame on you. PS: I suggest you concern yourself less with reviews and more with the wellbeing of the dogs under your care. At the very least, stop hiring low quality staff.

Upon our return, we were very pleased to see that Poppi was perfectly happy with Susan; she was happy to see us but not over the top like it has been in the past. Poppi even whimpered when Susan left...which says a lot . Susan is perfectly competent to handle dogs, and she has a definite connection with them. She is 100% there for the dogs. We would recommend her to anyone hoping for undivided attention for their dog.

I just saw the police break the windows of a Pooches in the Park van in Leichhardt. Two big brown…read moredogs were taken out and in a bad way. They had been locked in the Pooches in the Park van all day. The owners of the dogs were there and when the Pooches in the Park owners were called, they seemed to think it was a joke and took their time in arriving back at the van. However, by this time, the police had broken the windows and the dogs were on the way to an emergency vet hospital. This is appalling behaviour and this is not the first time, as a neighbour, I have seen dogs locked in this van. The last time I confronted the owners about locking dogs in the van and they told me to 'mind my own business'. Stay away if you love you dog....

Then I found this place on pure accident. Love bringing my puppy for grooming here! Have been for 7 years now. The staff are very friendly and take very good care of my fur baby. There is now Covid protocols in place. - you show up 5 minutes before appointment give them a call and the staff will come out to your car and take Your fur baby for grooming. Take all the information for grooming. They are very good at estimating how long it will take for the grooming to be completed, they will also give you a call when to pick up your newly groomed family member. They take cash and e-transfer. There is a restriction to only have one customer in at a time for pickup or drop off. I will be coming back for many years to come.

We, specifically, requested the dogs have their nails both trimmed and dremeled. The nails were not dremeled, nor were they groomed well. We noticed within a day that our daily brushing was still removing hand fulls of hair. Clearly an indication that the dogs were not thoroughly groomed. We dropped the dogs off at their 1:00pm scheduled appointment and were told that they would call us around 4:00. As we didn't receive a call we called and were told the dogs would be ready at 4:30. When we arrived we were told 10 more minutes. By no means did we rush them and we, patiently, waited in our vehicles for 15 minute to lessen the chaos inside. We are, extremely, disappointed with the service and the response we received. A, total, lack of accountability on the business.
