He grabbed the ATM machine plugged in what I owed, I guess, because he never said anything. Pushed it over-the-counter towards me without making eye contact nor saying one word to me. And expected me just to pay. No niceties. No customer service. No acknowledgement of my presence other than, "give me your money" which wasn't even verbalized just the machine being pushed towards me. His name is Jessie and he is the owner of the salon. I asked him if that was the case, he confirmed it. I said that his customer service was very lacking and that it just looked to me like he just wanted my money and for me to get the hell out of there. He said that he was sorry I felt that way. He is a condescending, not nice guy. No words for how rude he is. I told him that as well. I will not be back.

She was groomed down to the skin on her belly and between her legs making it very painful to walk. Took her to the vet where I was told she either had severe razor burn or an infection due to improper sterilization of the clippers. I left the vet with painkillers and a numbing Mousse. Tried for a couple days to reach anyone at the Shampooch shop but the phone was not answered. After about 5 days I got a hold of the Owner Jessie who told me that he would get back to me after he spoke to the groomer. When he called me back he said that the groomer did nothing wrong and that was the end of it. So basically I was told that my dog's pain and $300 vet bill was not his issue. I came to Shampooch because of the former owner Cheryl who was a fantastic person who truly loved animals and only hired the best groomers. After spending a week looking into my best friend's eyes and seeing the pain in them I will not be coming back to Shampooch and if you care about your furry child you should not as well. They don't provide any real report about your dog's wellbeing just generic words, "she's doing great," which was clearly unbelievably false. The kennels are worse than shelters. The condition of this place merits a free stay, not the absurd fee they charge. It's overpacked with dogs, nonstop barking, and clear signs of stress everywhere. Their so-called "privacy suite" is a flat-out lie. They do NOT follow your dog's needs. They claim each kennel has an outdoor run, They have to manually open it, so their statement that dogs can go out anytime is completely false. I told them my dog is a rescue with a history of neglect and abandonment, and I trusted them to keep her safe and supported. Instead, I picked her up in distress , injured, bleeding, and with her voice completely gone from what must have been nonstop barking and crying. EVEN THOUGH I PROVIDED THEM WITH HER SEDATIVES. She had made so much progress, and this experience set her back in every way. Blood was all over my car and the dog wash station from her injuries. It's heartbreaking and infuriating. The shelter she came from took better care of her than this place. I can't understand how businesses like this are allowed to keep operating. How do they sleep at night. Shame on you. PS: I suggest you concern yourself less with reviews and more with the wellbeing of the dogs under your care. At the very least, stop hiring low quality staff.

I didn't have a friend/family network in the area to help with my animals when I went out of town AND my dog Cooper was fear aggressive so it made it just that much more nerve wracking to leave him with someone. After two failed attempts at a dog sitter via a app based service (2 no shows for meet and greets!) I no longer had confidence in trusting a stranger found by an app to come into my home and car for my pets. I searched for kennels and found High Tails - LIFE CHANGING! From the first phone call to the last visit every experience was outstanding. Cooper loved it so much that when i would pick him up he would not want to get in the car. He was a different dog after his time at High Tails. It was a confidence booster for him and a relief for me. He became much less fearful even outside his stays. Saul, the cat was a little more subtle in his excitement - but he seems happy and content every time I picked him up after a stay. I believe we had about 4 stays at High Tails. One at Christmas time that I booked with less than 2 weeks notice and they were able to accommodate at the last minute. We moved back to St. Louis, Missouri about two weeks after their last stay at High Tails and I can say I was genuinely sad to no longer have the option to bring my pets to this amazing facility! When I moved I decided to try BandBox, which is just down the street from me. When I picked up my dog from BandBox for the first time, he wasn't crying, or shaking, in fact he seemed perfectly fine. I was amazed to see the difference, he wasn't acting like he had been through an ordeal at all, in fact, if his hair wasn't cut you wouldn't tell by his attitude that he had been to the groomer at all that day. I was also impressed with the care that was taken with his cut. He has been there several times now and always comes back with the same attitude and cut. I would definitely recommend this groomer. The price is a little more expensive than Petland and they only take cash but this is very worth it in my opinion and I am sure my dog would tell me the same thing if he could.

He's never been more excited to see his groomer and always comes out looking like a champ. They don't have a mass drop off time which is nice you bring them in and after a couple hours he's ready. He gets that one-on-one attention that I think he deserves and they do an amazing job of caring for him and making sure that he looks and feels amazing. Always excited to go and always just the best environment when you go there. Definitely a thumbs up thank you guys for taking care of him. She kept him for three hours to ease him into the routine. I'm not sure why, but my dog's hair prior to visiting May was matted. His fur starting growing massively, and it out of control. As a result, May has to cut off his beard, around his ears, and a couple of other problem areas where it was matted. We bought a new brush from May (good price too), to prevent this from happening again. Our puppy was washed, teddy bear cut, nails trimmed, ears cleaned, bum tided up, and with tip and tax, it came up to about $70. Since our dog was a puppy, May gave us a discount, which was much appreciated. I think for more basic services (no fancy haircut), the price is cheaper.

I am always so confident leaving Frank with these lovely people, all of them are always so happy and excited to see every dog. They try to put on events for the dogs. I love the fact that at anytime during the work day I can peak at the webcams and see what they are up to, usually just see my dog in the corner barking as usual. All in all we swear by dogs tail and would back up every single worker as well as the wonderful owner.
