While we waited we watched and interacted with Brooke and the other beautiful, well trained dogs who were in the process of bathing and hair cuts. It seemed like less than 5 minutes and Brooke was returned to us. I picked her up to inspect her nails. I was amazed and pleased when I saw her nails were trimmed back as they needed to be, without the slightest fussing. We are overjoyed to have found someone so superbly talented and inexpensive. I couldn't believe it when she asked for $ 10.50! I didn't ask if she charges more for big dog nail trims, just paid and left, promising to return. Thank you, "Dogs Rule Pet Grooming" for exceeding our expectations!

The owner, May, came highly recommended to me by a friend. It was our puppy's first time at a…read moregroomer's, and May ensured his visit was a positive one. She kept him for three hours to ease him into the routine. I'm not sure why, but my dog's hair prior to visiting May was matted. His fur starting growing massively, and it out of control. As a result, May has to cut off his beard, around his ears, and a couple of other problem areas where it was matted. We bought a new brush from May (good price too), to prevent this from happening again. Our puppy was washed, teddy bear cut, nails trimmed, ears cleaned, bum tided up, and with tip and tax, it came up to about $70. Since our dog was a puppy, May gave us a discount, which was much appreciated. I think for more basic services (no fancy haircut), the price is cheaper.

When I picked up my fluffernutter from her appointment, she seemed to be comfortable and content; and 4. Fluffernutter got just the hair cut I requested! It was a pretty simple groom, so ymmv if you're looking for a fussier style. We'll be returning to Puppy Paradise!

Jessie Funk of Funky Cuts has been taking care of my shih tzu Molly's hair for about 5 years now…read more If you have ever owned or even happened to pass a shih tzu in the street, you know how crazy their hair can grow. There is a reason these dogs are often modelling on bottles of dog shampoo. When lovingly groomed frequently, shih tzus can have quite luscious locks. When your shih tzu is like mine and believes she is actually a lab taking detours through mud and leisurely swims in the river, her hair can get to be a bit ...well...unruly. Funky Cuts is mobile, as well as, has operates a home based grooming salon. Having Jessie come to the house is awesome. Molly feels super comfortable at home. She's tough for 8 lbs of fierce girl power, but is still quite intimated by canines that are much larger than her. And with the mobile service, I know what time to be home and the grooming appointment takes at maximum an hour -- instead of me dropping molly off at a standard grooming parlor, having her sit in a kennel for most of the day and waiting around for the phone call that she is ready. We have also utilized Funky Cut's home salon where Molly can catch up with Jessie's dogs through the standard sniffs and smells. Not only is this a great experience for Molly, but through the years I have been able to get to know Jessie. She is truly passionate about the care and vitality of all animals. I am so happy that I was referred to her.
