I recently had a horrible experience with a local "doggy daycare" that I would strongly advise others to avoid. Unfortunately, my poor pup was not treated with the care and respect that I had expected from this establishment. Instead of providing a safe and nurturing environment, they would often lock her up in a crate for hours on end, leaving her alone in a room while other dogs were allowed to play outside with the attendant. This lack of attention and socialization was not only upsetting but also neglectful, and I was appalled to discover that they had even forgotten to feed her dinner on one occasion.
The problems didn't stop there, however. The daycare's website claimed that they let the dogs out every 30 minutes to an hour, but this was clearly not the case. When I tried to monitor my pup's activities through their camera system, I found that it was often turned off, leaving me with no way to check in on her. When I called to request that they turn on the cameras, the owner became defensive and eventually emailed me to tell me to stop calling the center throughout the day. This lack of transparency and accountability was a major red flag, and I began to suspect that they were hiding something.
To make matters worse, the daycare suddenly increased their prices without informing me or other customers. When I asked fellow customers if they were aware of the price hike, I was shocked to discover that none of them had been notified. When I complained to the owner about the lack of communication, he became hostile and eventually terminated our relationship, simply because he didn't like what he was hearing. This unprofessional behavior was the final straw, and I am grateful to have removed my pup from their care. I would not recommend this doggy daycare to anyone, and I hope that others will learn from my negative experience and take their business elsewhere read more
