As a native Vietnamese American I give this place my stamp of approval, I make spring rolls and pho from scratch on my own as well. I have to say first off the space is very open and inviting! It is similar to a chipotle or CAVA where you go down the line and customize your order! Or they have made options for you. My girlfriend got the spring rolls with chicken and said delicious and yes $11.50 seems expensive but it's two huge spring rolls rated 9/10 I got the regular size house special pho and I also rate it a 9/10 because the meat selection is great even raw slices of beef, brisket and meatballs great The broth was good but not knock your socks off Now however we did get this to go on our way back from the renaissance fair! Came in not knowing what to expect and was very pleasantly surprised. We ordered the Banh Mi - pork and all the fixings, fried egg rolls and crab Rangoon. To drink we got a passion fruit boba and a Vietnamese coffee. The Banh Mi was DELICIOUS. The bread was fresh and crispy. The meat was a perfect mix of seasonings and the veggies were perfection. I want to preface my review with a disclaimer that we ordered right at close, and I will be trying it again at a different time of day and may edit this review at a later date. That being said, we were extremely unhappy with the food we were given. I'll start with the pho; a lackluster broth that lacked clarity and flavor with no offer of chili oil, sriracha, or hoisin to help it be more palatable. I don't think good pho broth needs those extra condiments but in this case I believe it would have helped the cloudy brown broth at least have some redeeming qualities. We struggled to finish the bowl, and we spilt an order, and definitely did not drink the broth. However, the ingredients and meat were generally of good quality and freshness. Not enough jalapeños offered as well as we were given lemon instead of lime which, not that big a deal but sometimes you just expect the usual. Next, the Bahn Mi; it was ok. Nothing really wrong with it. My husband didn't know about the processed meats that are common in Vietnamese food so he was disappointed but all in all the bread was good, sauce was good, veggies were fresh, but no jalapeños in it which I was sad about. The pickled carrots were great. The golden milk tea with boba was very good but in my opinion can't redeem what the pho did to my appetite. Inside the restaurant is very nice, clean, service is alright for being right at closing time. Nothing to complain about there. Overall, a clean restaurant with probably better food than what we got. Our experience just happened to be tainted by our dinner's flavor. read more

I want to give this business 5 stars for their food. I've tried the Bahn Mi, Pho, salad, and various boba teas and it is all outstanding in flavor, quality, and freshness. Unfortunately on 3 separate occasions now they have omitted things from my order or made it wrong. Example: no protein and sauce with my salad, completely omitted my egg rolls that I ordered with pho, and gave me a slush versus tea boba. Attention to detail is where this place is lacking, and it seems as they are getting busier the details like: making sure an order is correct, and wiping off tables is lacking. They have lots of options for proteins, veggies and sauces. The boba was delicious and on par with places I've tried in Bellaire. Definitely worth a try for lunch or a quick meal.
