This right here is the most authentic and delicious Korean bites you can get in the Magnolia area!!…read moreWe ordered half Yangyeom(gochujang based sweet and spicy sauce) and Pringle(Korean cheese dry rub seasoning) chicken. The Pringle flavor is not overly sweet and has a balanced cheese flavor which is very addicting!! The Yangyeom flavor was the perfect combination of sweet, spicy, and had a nice garlic kick to it. I would recommend asking for the sauce on the side if you're taking it home!! I still enjoyed the wings 100%, but they were a bit soggy. That is 100% on us as we didn't account for the extended period of time to get home due to traffic. Every piece of chicken was super juicy and cooked thoroughly!!! Now the heavy hitter on the menu was the bulgogi fries. The fries were super crispy despite being smothered in bulgogi, kimchi, and sauces. These are possibly the BEST loaded fries I've ever had. The kimchi on these fries was one of the best I've had. It wasn't overly salted, had a perfect crunch, and had a nice spicy kick to it. Overall the bulgogi, kimchi, crispy fries, and the sauces are the perfect combination for that Korean American fusion dish!!! The restaurant itself is pretty small, but they do have a seating area!! When we ordered it was only Mr. Park in the kitchen so please be mindful of that. You'll have to wait a few minutes as each order is made fresh to order and it takes time to cook these items. If you don't want to wait I recommend calling ahead and ordering so that the food will be ready when you arrive. The parking area is also a bit limited so be mindful of that as well!!! Overall I'm so happy there is a great Korean fried chicken spot here in magnolia and I don't have to drive out to Houston or Katy!!!!

I'd rate the food a 7/10. Everything was cooked well, though the sauce wasn't quite to my taste…read more The menu is on the smaller side, but the prices are reasonable -- roughly $10-15 per person. The service and ambiance were enjoyable, making it a good choice for a quick, casual meal.

Magnolia Diner should come with a warning: may cause extreme happiness, food-induced tears, and…read moreuncontrollable grinning. The service was so fast I half expected my waitress to have a twin. The place was packed, but somehow still charming--clearly people know that the food here is basically magic on a plate. I had the country fried steak, which was huge and flavorful I briefly considered asking it to marry me. My fiancé got the big breakfast with biscuits and gravy instead of toast, and I swear the eggs, meat, pancakes, and biscuits were all conspiring to ruin every other breakfast I've ever had. Pancakes fluffier than clouds in a Pixar movie with a sweetness you question if it's just a flat cake, biscuits softer than a cloud's hug, and gravy that might actually be liquid happiness. Hashbrowns perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside--basically the Goldilocks of potatoes. If you go to Magnolia Diner and don't leave full, happy, and plotting your next visit, you are either a robot or lying. Highly recommend--you might even forget your own name while eating there.

We went for lunch and the place was absolutely packed. We decided to go back later because it was…read moreso packed. That was a good sign to us. Then when we came back, we were seated the waitress was extremely friendly and polite. She was on top of everything checking in. Do we need anything all the things that you want a server to do when you were at a restaurant. I ordered the chicken fried steak small size, it did not disappoint. It had enough breading, but not over and the meat went all the way to the edges. It wasn't just all breading with a little bit of meat inside. The mashed potatoes were extremely fresh and definitely made from scratch. My baked squash had the best flavor. We ordered a sampler platter that had a little bit of everything from cheese sticks to fried okra, onion rings, fried mushrooms, and fried pickles. When the owner came out and introduced himself to us a very quiet, humble older gentleman. He was so welcoming and inviting and told us about some of the specials that they're doing and we will definitely be going back. There's a few items that I really want to try like they have fish tacos that looked amazing. Definitely want to go back and have some more okra. I can guarantee like everything from beginning to end the ambience when you walk in is like a little café and extremely clean everything had a place. Just an awesome amazing place to go try.

We ordered and they brought these rolls to the table. I picked it up (still warm) buttered it and took a bite and my next words were "oh sweet Jesus." Best dinner roll i have ever had in my life. And there is real whipped butter on the table (score). My chicken fried steak was good. Tastes fresh and a good portion. Good gravy. The green beans were delicious and the black eyed peas were good. The banana pudding made a good dessert and was a sharing size. Fresh banana slices on the bottom, whip cream on top. A great value overall and if we lived closer we would be regulars.
