If you're new to pilates, you might have seen the SNL skit and all the memes. A couple of my team…read moremembers all have reformer pilates on their rotation, and learning that professional athletes can even find the classes difficult ultimately intrigued me. The instructors are all very nice and the first handful of classes I would let them know I am new. The first class killed me! I was sore for a whole week after! The 2nd and 3rd wasn't much better but you do get used to it. I love adding this into my routine and now I go 1-2x a week. Keep roking!

Beware of this studio…read more Wish I could give 0 stars. Their customer service is the worst I've experienced in a long time. My class was cancelled by an instructor and I was told by the staff (as well as via email and text) that I would NOT be charged. However, upon further investigation, I found out something interesting. I WAS in fact charged. Thinking it must've been an honest mistake, I reached out via email just to be told they don't do refunds after all. Instead, they offer "credits" to come back to their studio (that expire BTW). I was still charged after being reassured I would NOT be charged, for a service I never received. As if that isn't enough, the staff was also unfriendly immediately upon walking in.. I was blankly stared at by 2 staff members with no greeting for some time before they said anything to me. Plus, they don't offer modifications for people in class which was surprising to me, considering these are supposed to be "professional" instructors. There's fishy things going on at this studio.. I highly recommend taking your money elsewhere. BodyRok may as well be called BodyNOT.

I love Pilates Heartcore…read more I've been to five classes so far - two private, one virtual, and two group - and have been led by five different instructors. Each class was wonderful, as was each instructor. I'm new to Pilates - before Heartcore I had only gone to/done two studio classes fifteen years ago + a few YouTube (mat) Pilates videos over the years - so I was very nervous starting out. Each instructor made me feel welcome and very supported. In addition, when I first started taking classes, I spoke with Katie, the owner of the studio, over email many times (to schedule classes), and she was so helpful and very quick to respond. The studio itself is spacious and very clean (including the bathrooms). Also, Heartcore has no "surprises" - something I very much appreciate; all policies are posted on their website, so everything that prospective + current students need to know is there. People may need to set reminders for themselves about things - an upcoming class they registered for, the need to bring grippy socks to class (which they do sell in the studio), when to cancel your registration to a class if you won't be able to make it, etc. - but that is to be expected at almost every establishment/business. I've been a member here for just about a month, and I don't foresee myself ending my membership anytime soon (barring a faraway move or something). I look forward to each class, and I'm so excited to keep going. I love this studio!

This studio is a complete 180 degrees from what I am was used to and is fantastic. All of the instructors are welcoming, encouraging and often time funny. They have helped me on my recovery journey immensely and I will continue with this studio far into the future.

Been weightlifting for years and it was starting to become a little monotonous. Was searching for a…read morenew type of workout to get excited about. Enter **LAGREE**. Heard about it from a girlfriend at work, and fell in love! I've been going since October, and can feel myself getting stronger, physically but also mentally. The instructors are all super friendly and motivating. I'm sweating literal puddles during each session, and I walk out feeling like a badass. If you're on the fence about joining, just do it! You won't regret it.

This was my second attempt back at the studio and I am glad I gave it another try. When I first…read morecame, it was overwhelming and I had NO idea what was going. I swore it off however I went and tried other studios where I could get more confident and understand the form. So coming back to Instaphysique I had more of a foundational knowledge and knew what was ahead of me. But not only that but you also start to find instructors that you prefer their cues and/or energy and that makes a HUGE difference. I love my classes Kristin and Marisa. Clear cues and they have no mercy on my hammies and booty cheeks - but in a good way. When I started I was 5 months postpartum and they were very dedicated to giving me modifications but as soon as my strength started to build again, they challenged me without being pushy or making me feel bad if I couldn't follow. Some tactical things: parking is great in the morning but once 12p and beyond hit, you're fighting lunch and dinner crowds in the parking lot. Not impossible but just not princess parking. There are two clean restrooms in the studio. There isn't really a designated bag/shoe place but you can have it at your station or against the wall. Classes are a bit pricey, I have a membership to cut some cost. However, it's a great 40 minutes and it goes by super fast. I find it to be a VERY efficient burn.
