Spring Grill House offers a unique Korean BBQ experience and good balance of prepared foods as well as items for self-BBQ. Items are easily ordered through a tablet at each table. The restaurant offers an abundance of items to choose from at reasonable prices - appetizers, dim sum, hot entrees, fried rice and noodle dishes, as well as traditional raw options for grilling. The Korean appetizers, dim sum and breaded shrimp and scallops were among our favourites. I would have loved to give the restaurant a better rating, but many hot menu items, including General Tao Chicken, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Curry Cuttlefish, fried rice and pre-marinated meats needed more seasoning. The sliced lamb was also very thin and fatty, which made it difficult to barbecue on the grill. It cooked very quickly and stuck onto the element. Service was very good and the restaurant had nice decor. For dessert, there was ice cream and deep fried custard buns to choose from. Cheesecake was extra. Overall, the concept was great; however more attention is needed to flavours.

Came here for AYCE BBQ while going for a weekend hiking in Hamilton. The price was quite reasonable - $34.99 you can get a variety of meat, seafood, dim sum, stir-fry and dessert. And the quality was great. We ordered almost all kinds of meat and seafood, meat was tender and pre-marinated, seafood was fresh. I personally like the Beef Short Ribs, Lamb and Ox Tongue. For dessert, you can get strawberry cheesecake, and they even have Cheesecake Factory available. Their drink items were creative. I find it quite inclusive that they let their staff create their own drinks. Recommend a purple drink called Pornstar Cocktail, which was pretty and tasty. The staff was nice and patient. The cocktail creator even shared his story behind the drink with us - I forgot the drink's name but he said it was created based on his personality. Food (quality, presentation) - 5/5 Drinks (quality, variety) - 5/5 Ambience (interior, cleanness) - 5/5 Service - 5/5 Value - 5/5

Definitely one of my favourite Korean bbq spots! Has an excellent vibrant atmosphere! The staff are so friendly and helpful! Best to book before you go to avoid long wait times! The food is really tasty! They have so much in the menu and honestly it never disappoints! This place is consistent every time! Don't sleep on their drinks either! Wether you're in to cocktails or mocktails they have such a wide selection! It's always a fun time when we come here!

We ordered the food over the phone, and it took about 15 minutes to be ready. We picked up the food inside the restaurant and the pick up went pretty seamlessly. The food was good, the General Tao chicken was OK but the beef short ribs were absolutely delicious, would definitely order again.

Spring Grill House is a sister restaurant of Spring Sushi, so I had to check this place out while visiting Hamilton. We came here without reservations on a Saturday afternoon. However, we didn't have to wait too long as the restaurant was really spacious with tons of available tables. We were having the AYCE dinner ($30.99/adult). You order on iPads and they will bring out the food to your table. Spring Grill House offers both AYCE BBQ as well as Dim Sum. I don't however, recommend the dim sum since it is after all, an AYCE place and those items don't usually have the same consistent quality of real dim sum joints. I did try some of the dim sum. The chicken feet, shu mai, shrimp dumplings, and the deep fried squid to be exact. And as expected, these weren't too tasty. We came here for the BBQ and really indulged in the meats. Of the meats, I enjoyed eating the AAA beef, sausage, and chicken thigh. These were marinated well. It had that savoury sweet soy-based marinade that I really enjoyed. They also have a variety of seafood to BBQ. I loved having the shrimp. It was sweet and juicy. It is important to note that at your table you have a good selection of sauces to dip your meats in. I loved the cumin-chili spice mix. It's one of my favourite dips for BBQ and I absolutely adore restaurants that serve it. For drinks, we ordered a couple of bottles of soju. It's great that they carry a wide variety of soju flavours!

My first time having AYCE Korean BBQ and I am soooooooo sad that I haven't had it before in my life!!!!!!! I don't have anything to compare this place with, so the rating is all based on taste and price. VERY WORTH IT!!! I was in Ontario for a concert, and found this spot on yelp and I knew I had to go. I spent $18 USD for the lunch menu which was missing a little of the seafood options. I ordered close to 10 plates of the AAA beef, i could not get enough of it!! There appetizers and side dishes were very tasty as well, but don't waste to much stomach space on them. It was also pretty cool ordering everything off an Ipad and not having to get a waiters/waitresses attention to order more. If I am ever close by or back in Canada, I will make sure that I come back to this place at least once.

This place gets busy during weekday evenings so do plan on coming before 6 for faster service. Much like the Spring Sushi across te street, the atmosphere here is very contemporary, unlike your usual Korean BBQ restaurant. The AYCE is decent and dinner options are well worth the price. Ordering is done via iPad which is a huge plus as you get to see pictures of what you're ordering as well as giving you the extra time to add or take out items before calling the server. Our food came within minutes of ordering. The meat was fresh and well marinated. My favourites were the short ribs, beef, and lamb. Other notable menu items included their deep-fried shrimps. Unlike the usual Korean BBQs, this place also serves up Chinese food such as fried rice and dim sum. P.S. Students have 10% off their bill with ID

Most placed I'd been to had small selections of their own beer, but to me you have to really diversity to get to that 50 plateau and I was right. 50+ beers from all over (even back home). Steady changing selections of all craft, some local, but as varied as anyone can get around here. It's dark, small, warm, cozy, inviting, but ultimately weird. Hipster AF. I was glad to see some classic cocktails on the menu which I also tried, but there is a weird bottle neck at the chalkboard as it narrows to the bar opening which makes ordering just awkward if the bar itself isn't open. They do an interesting thing asking for your name instead of tabbing you via a card to hold, but that also doesn't seem to be a Canadian thing like it is back in the States. My pisco sour was excellent, fresh juice, fresh egg white, well shaken, though I'm more a fan of metal on metal and I'm starting to think kold-draft is a luxury as many places simply don't have it. Kold draft or even 2+ inch molded ice has a very unique clang that I like. Ultimately bad if your shaking with glass though. My friends had a few lagers and ales which Hamilton is more known for than IPA's. We sat at the back where it was quite and we could hear ourselves instead of shouting over people. They have board games which I imagine is great fun and even a back patio which I imagine goes off in the summer. The staff are friendly and pretty knowledgeable, but I'd have like to seem a little more eye in the sky control, in that regard it's more barista than bar. On any given night here you'll hear conversations of beard oil, compost, prius', and other hipster topics. It's quietly romantic and dark so no one will bother you whatever your opinions are. If a Portland hipster mated with a San Francisco hipster, The Brain would be their baby.

The advertised beer special was not available, sold out, but the waitress allowed a substitution. Ordered the steak n guinness pie and was surprised that it was indeed a meat pie, not just stew topped with pastry. Disappointed that there was no steak n kidney pie. The meat pie was typical pub grub. Not a lot of choice for someone that's lactose intolerant. Bathroom was clean, the staff were friendly and efficient. Food order was also taken quickly and took a super long time to arrive. Servers shift was done, we paid and were told a new server would be taking care of us. That never happened. As our glasses sat empty, the Mr. went up to the bar to grab another round. For some strange reason 2 beers at the bar were almost $2 more than what we just paid. That's not cool. The nachos were really good (although $4 for the very tiny side of chili was overpriced) beer was cold, but the service was disappointing. For that reason I'm not sure if I will be returning.

The restaurant is within a walk of the Tim Hortons Stadium and many folks were walking past in team colours. There were also patrons leaving to attend the game as we were arriving. The menu has a good selection for a variety of tastes. We were promptly seated and waited for the host of our party. The wait staff were at the ready upon our settling in. The house was not overly busy and we had up to three wait staff working with us, although one was primary with the others assisting to keep all the tables satisfied. Some of our party had appetizers which they thoroughly enjoyed. Between the four of us we had two of the day's special and two from the menu for entrees. While we were waiting we had a lovely selection of breads some of which had a duck confit on them making a nice crispy change from French stick which was included. The butter was nicely served in a perfectly softened state. All the entrees had a great presentation and we all enjoyed the meal. A couple of us continued to a dessert. These were truly enjoyed by those of us that ordered the dessert. Great flavour and presentation were appreciated. The washrooms on the same level as the restaurant. Some seating is raised above making for a semi-private space. The sole issue is the step up to the door will be difficult for some mobility issue patrons. The restaurant is not setup for a wheelchair access. We were fortunate to get a parking space right at the door. The area has paid street parking at meters or using an app. Around the corner may provide no fee parking if available.

Would definitely order an additional dish if you would like a more substantial meal. That being said, the pork was done perfectly, and we really liked the spetzel on the side.

Yes the price is pretty high but I love supporting local (and my bday coincided with the Ontario Big Spend, to help stimulate local buying in COVID). Everything comes out looking absolutely gorgeous on stoneware and fun plating styles that flow right with the atmosphere. The atmosphere is very hipster chic and all the staff is very professional and knowledgeable. Also fantastic COVID protocol and safety while we were there. I think our waiter could have brought a little more energy but he was great overall! Started with some fun drinks and loved that the wine menu was at least half local selection! Came quick as well with pitchers of plain water and sparkling water. Started with calamari and Burrata platter. Calamari was delicious and came with both aioli and seafood sauce with arugula and lemon, loved it! Large pieces and perfectly cooked. The Burrata stole the show with a huge fresh ball over crisp and sweet cantaloupe and prosciutto with hot peppers and delicious fresh basil.... could have definitely ate that whole plate as my dinner. Truffle fries to share: fantastic shoestring cut with Parmesan and truffle with fresh scallions, crispy goodness! Beet salad: beautiful presentation and loaded with gorgeous beets, walnuts, roasted veggies and maple vinaigrette. Good earth power bowl: for the veggie lovers this one has it all! And is also pretty allergen friendly with greens, raw broccoli, vibrant purple cabbage, avocado, grapefruit, roasted crispy chickpeas, pine nuts, nutritional yeast, and toasted coconut flakes with lemon tahini dressing. I enjoyed this fresh and crisp bowl but I think it could have used more zing in the dressing. Pasta Special: thumb print pasta with salty venison sausages, sweet peppers, greens, salt/pepper and cheese. A tad salty but beautiful and fresh! Oysters: fresh and delicious with Parmesan and 3 sauces (hot, seafood, red wine vinegar) Cedar salmon: beautifully grilled cedar planked salmon with so much flavour from the maple bourbon glaze. Came with a tiny portion of veggies but the also a side, we choose the mashed potatoes which WERE DA BOMB! Could just eat those tbh.... Caesar salad: the most gorgeous! I didn't try but came with fresh crisp romaine, Parmesan crisps, crispy pork belly, poached egg, fresh croutons, and a full sardine to top it off! Dessert: no bake raspberry cheesecake, this was complimentary for the bday and we all split it. Delicious raspberry jam on light cheesecake filling with white chocolate and a thick graham crumb. Well done radius! Making local sexy AF!
