I have been going to this cleaners for years. I let them do my basic alterations often. Recently I took a brand new outfit to them and it's now destroyed. I wanted my jumpsuit hemmed and now it's too short. It has happened before and I let it go. This time I said something and she tried to charge me another $15. She didnt own up to the mistake or apologize. She said I don't care. I'm so sick of supporting businesses and getting bad customer service . They will never get another dime from me. read more

This was previously a half decent place for dry cleaning and very basic alterations but now it's been about two years with the new owners, I've found more things returned either not cleaned properly or damaged, and for the basic services I require, I won't be using this business any more as I'm fearful that they will damage items I care about. Within a few months of being a customer they managed to lose a pair of my $80 dress pants. They took the information down about the pair of pants and then when I followed up in person they told me to wait a month or 2 to see if somebody would turn them in. They didn't seem that intrested in resolving the issue so I came back a month later and asked for payment for the pants and was offered a credit for future cleaning. I was not planning to bring anything else since they had already lost a pair of my pants so she begrudgingly gave me $40. She told me they never lose things but when my husband was there to return the pair of pants I had mistakenly received, somebody else was letting them know of a missing item so it sounds like this does happen often enough. Brought 2 pieces here on a Saturday at 4pm to get one altered and one stain treated. The altered item appears to be good, but the stain treated item was a white baseball jersey, all she had to do was remove the grass stains on the back of it, which she did. However, she got some kind of chemical on the front of it and created a new orange stain on it. I brought it back in to her and she said, "that's the best I can do, besides I don't have time for this, I have dinner plans I'm leaving early!" I could understand if it was a stain she couldn't get out, but it wasn't, it was a mark that they put there. Don't take your clothes here if you good service and want them done right. read more

Ok so to be fair, I have only brought my SO's suit here to get cleaned and only a handful of times. The lady who runs it is really nice even though she doesn't speak much English. They are fast and their prices are fair, only ten bucks to get the suit cleaned, and it's usually done the same day regardless what time i bring it in. Also my SO has never complained about his suit so they must be doing a good job. So yeah if you have a suit that needs to be cleaned, you might just want to give them a shot. read more

Having my suits and dress shirt clean without mishaps is important, but this mom and pop shop does it so well and with a smile. Great prices. Awesome service! I really like the Chinese couple that's running this place, they are always super nice, and warm. They are just the type of people who you want to deal with and have in your neighborhood. Always clean my dress shirts here for pretty cheap. I've used them about a dozen times and they've always treated me well. Dress shirts, pants, suits were all fine. They even cleaned my wife's wedding dress without a problem. There's a couple of free 15-min parking spots in front, so getting in and out quickly is painless. read more

My wife's wedding gown needed altercation and Spring Fresh Cleaners was the only shop near by that was willing to do it. The owner was very helpful and the altercation was done within few days. The wedding gown turn out perfect and my wife got a lot of complements during her wedding ceremony. My wife also took in 2 sweaters for dry cleaning. They did a wonderful job as the sweaters look brand new. We will definitely use Spring Fresh Cleaners more often from now on. read more

Bridgeport's Worst Dry Cleaner - Don't believe any reviews about the 'sweet' owner.....I have been a customer for at least 10 years and here's what happended to me...I cut the tags off a brand new Polo button down shirt and brought it in to be washed and pressed. It WAS going to be my son's 1st Communion shirt. When I picked it up, there was a stain on the left arm area. They tried to get the stain out, but they could not. Next they totally denied they were at fault, and would not even refund me the cost of the cleaning ($3.60), much less the $35 (plus aggravation) that I will now have to spend to get a new shirt! 4.5 In Bridgeport this is my spot to go to if I want something dry-cleaned nice. I had a white coat that I wanted to throw away after an hour lecture from my mother when I visited her in Hong Kong, but the lady in there gave me a weird look like "why would you throw something like that away?" BEWARE!!!! My son had graduation @ Healy brought his pants in (2) days prior & when I went 2 pick up his pants, they wer lost. I had to rush to a store for a new pair & thankfully found one & cheap. I went back to cleaners showed her the the receipt & she hesitantly reimbursed me & still charged me for cleaning. She contacted me bout week later that my sons pants wer found & to come & pick up. I did & she wanted her money back for the new pants! I was shocked, appalled & very disappointed! Being the "Too Nice" I am I offered half & with great attitude & hesitation she agreed so I im turn gave her the lousy $23.00 for the pants. (The whole amount)!! $23.00!!!! I HATE dry cleaning. But it needs to be done. I try very hard to purchase clothes that need as little maintenance as possible but the little dry clean only tag seems to slip in here and there. Whenever the rare occasion occurs, I bring them over to Spring Fresh Cleaners because I'm too lazy to bring it anywhere else but that might just have to change. I brought a silk shirt in for dry cleaning because I got a stain on it. A few days later, I pick up the shirt, stain still intact... After years of existence, I have come to learn that not all stains are removable. And that's fine. But if you can't get it off, don't get mad at it and ruin it! I don't know the process of dry cleaning, but whatever they did not only did not work, but the area of the stain got really thin and you could sorta see through the little silk threads. And yes, I still bring something back to get cleaned. Everyone deserves a second chance. I brought a dress in to get dry cleaned after I dropped some salad dressing on myself (I attract food). The stain is gone... but then I realized that they used a safety pin to secure my dress onto a hanger. And now I have two little hole on the straps... =( read more

I went to Spring Fresh Cleaners when K's Cleaners nearby rejected my winter coat. This place is so friendly--the owner was really sweet. She took my winter coat no problem. I took in a coat for cleaning. The owner raved about it being deer and marveled at the price I paid for it (had just gotten it at a thrift store). When I picked up the coat 10 days later it had magically turned into fake fur. I had the same lining-wrong coat. She insisted it was the same coat. It was a true bait and switch. My coat had no white coloring and was fur; this is mainly cream and fake. Either she switched it or her furrier did. She is a seamstress so I'm guessing she did it. She offered to refund part of my cleaning fees-further proving her guilt. Under no circumstances should you use this cleaner. read more

This is the WORST dry cleaners I have ever been to. We brought in my fiancees wedding dress to be cleaned. They did a horrible job, and ruined some of the stitching. When she went to complain, with a friend, they completely ignored them. Then when they were finally addressed, they were told to shut up. This lady, Lee I think her name is, absolutely has no idea what she is doing. And is nothing more than a complete bitch. I was looking forward to having a good dry cleaning option relatively close. Unfortunately spring fresh cleaners is not that option. I took in three pieces( two dresses and a sweater) none of which had any stains but had been worn a number of times. It is hard to find flattering dresses so when I find a nice one I treat it well. The clothes were ready when promised but when I got the home I noticed that one of my dresses had a number of stains that were not there before, they looked like chemical or water marks/lines. I immediately called the store and was told to bring it back which I did and they did get the stains out. However, the second time around they had left a bunch of fuzz on the dress in the exact location of the stains. The cleaning service itself was bad and the customer service is also poor. I thought the clothes had too strong of a scent after being cleaned, and I was disappointed to see piling on one of my favorite winter scarves that looked fine when I brought it in--however, I'm not sure if it was the scarf or how they took care of it. read more

This place of business if thats what u want to call it! I brought a real fur coat in to get cleaned beacuse i was giving it as a gift. The owner when i went in was ooo'ing n aw'ing over because it was REAL fur. When i came back in to get what i thought was going to be my coat was a completely different coat the lineing was ripped out of it and a differnt coat was attached it wasnt even the same color. The owner told me that i shouldnt expect anything more then a 16$ coat back. DONT GO TO THIS AWFUL PLACE! If it happened to me i am sure it will happen to you! read more
