I contacted Spring Eye Care based on a recommendation from the urgent care doctor. I had blurry vision, pain and pressure on my left side and needed to see someone right away. I had no time to research or check reviews. When I called the receptionist was very helpful, warm, empathetic and got me in right away. When I entered the building the reception was very welcoming, engaging, kind and explained the paperwork needed. The wait was not long and Dr. Adkin was very thorough, completed all the required testing and answered all of my questions. He took the time to address all my concerns and was professional, patient and knowledgable. I appreciated how he explained every test result and walked me through next steps. I have been to the biggest eye care center in the Greater Houston Area and shuffled in and out without a single person listening to my concerns. I have been to the chain stores where I was defiantly listened to but walked out seeing worse than when I walked in. The third time is definitely the charm. Dr. Cox spent time with me and listened to my every concern. He was patient and worked diligently to make sure I could see. He explained the pros and cons of all my choices of contacts to help me make my decision. Been with you people for 8 years and loved every visit. Getting into the office one is greeted by the friendliest Ladies. Waiting time is "minutes" until one is taken care of by one of the nurses. Friendly Ladies who prepare for your visit with the nicest, kindest Eye doctor I've ever met. Dr. Cox is awesome, kind and also funny. Just a pleasure to have a doctor appointment. I have been seeing Dr. Cox for about five years. He is always so thorough and excellent. His explanations of my eye conditions and my husband's are easy to understand and I can depend on him to advise about what we should do on a preventative basis, as well. Earlier this year, I had Dr. Cox make new prescription sunglasses for me from his exam. These are the most comfortable pair of prescription eye glasses I have ever had. It took my eyes no time to adjust to them, including the pupil distance setting. Just amazing! They all go the extra mile, whenever needed. Our family has been coming here since moving to Spring two years ago. Service has always been excellent. As a senior I was just encountering diminishing vision and starting to develop cataracts. Dr Cox fully explained these events and the normal, more rapid changes as the cataracts formed. Highly Recommend this office. Spring Eye Care has been my eye care provider for several years. The entire staff is very friendly and helpful. Dr. Cox takes his time to go through your eye health and explain everything in detail. They do not try to push eye glasses or contacts on you. I have worn some kind of corrective lenses for over 50 years. Dr. Cox did the most thorough eye exam that I have had in years. The Optical Tech actually measured my head to get the right calculations for my glasses. They are very professional and complete in their exam and assisting with finding me the right glasses frames. Dr Akin was very thorough. He listened to my wants and needs and the trial contacts he gave me are better than my trials I got from another doctor just a month ago.
