Have not been to Spring Creek in a while, Sunday after church stopped by around 11am. Walked in to a familiar setting, smell of hickory smoke & fresh hot yeast rolls. I ordered up chopped baked potato ALL THE WAY ! There was a two meat combo and chopped beef sandwich also ordered. Service was quick and food was hot, we found a booth that fit our needs for seating. Clean & tidy all around. Large group of folks enjoying and Sunday lunch across the way. Not a bad meal at all for the price. One little whiny concern. Mac and cheese could be more cheesy. Great meal, and those fresh hot rolls kept coming by. Don't forget & save room for snow Bluebell ice cream. I forgot to do that. Maybe next time. Get here it is a great place to relax with family and friends on a Sunday afternoon. Stay safe

no stars** YUUUUUUCK! Horrible excuse for bbq. the bake potato had uncooked bacon on it and taste like only pepper was used as season. Disgusting. I was so upset I got this for staff. But service was great

Every time I come back to Texas, I always crave BBQ. Unfortunately, this place hasn't been as great as it was in the past. Pros: + Best BBQ Chicken in DFW - This is the only reason I keep coming back. No other place can do chicken as well as Spring Creek + Hot fresh Bread out of the oven - I always wait for the basket to come around because this bread is straight out of the oven + Amazing BBQ sauce - I want to take a bath in this Cons: - Side dishes have become much worse recently - they lack significant flavor and taste as if they've been sitting out all day IG: QueenOfAdventureNYC

Dry brisket, and I ordered moist. Chewy and super disappointing. Mac n chz very blue box Kraft-like. Rolls heavenly. At $25 for the brisket meal plate (including $3.65 for a fountain drink) I hoped for more.

We stop here for lunch while in town on a work trip. The restaurant must have had a little storm damage. We were greeted at the door by friendly staffs. I ordered their two meat entrees with burned end and briskets. BBQ was okay. Nothing too spectacular than our Kansas City BBQ. They do make fresh buns there which is almost like a cinnamon roll to me. It must be something that they are known for. Staffs are very friendly. Casual atmosphere. They walked us out to our car with umbrellas since it was raining. Definitely a place that take care of their customers. Five stars for service. Three stars for food.

Sweet sauce at the butcher block is much better than the regular sauce they have on the line and at the condiment station. Sweet Sauce: Tangy and sweet with a good spice profile. Gentle and pleasant level of heat (3.5 out of 10). Really good. 7 out of 10. Brisket: Nice, but typical - odd flavor, nothing special. Tastes more like a semi-dry version of a pot roast. (Moist is a 8 out of 10.) Definitely use the BBQ sauce on it. Pork Ribs: Perfect Texas BBQ ribs. Gentle sweet and savory rub. You don't need the sauce. These are great on their own. Moist, 8.5 on a scale of 10. Definitely put on your plate! Regular Sausage: Extremely traditional mild pork sausage. Remind me of Eckrich Smokey Links - but better flavor. Pepper Sausage: No heat, just beautiful flavors and seasoning. One of my favorites! Potatoe Salad: One of my favorites. Not vinegary and all ingrate in the right proportions. Very tasty. Baked Beans: Perfect. Just the right amount of mild sweetness and spice. Bread: Awesome! Best in the industry. Backed fresh onsite. No good to-go or cold. Only hot and fresh. I enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant with the large mural of a Hawaiian beach and simple island decor peppered throughout. The restaurant is also very clean. I also was fairly happy with the portion sizes for the chicken dishes. The vegetables in the Hawaiian plates were cooked very well and were really good complements with the lunch meals. What didn't work for me: The decoration alone is where this stopped feeling like a Hawaiian restaurant. The Hawaiian plates felt more Asian inspired rather than true Hawaiian inspired. The flavor is excellent, don't get me wrong, but I felt it was a bit of an identity crisis. The Beef BBQ short rib pieces were fatty and overcooked. I had only a few tender bites of beef but the rest was so chewy and fatty that I had to spit it out. Also only had 6-7 pieces of short rib for a $20 plate which I didn't really feel was worth it. The chicken katsu was crispy however I didn't care for the quality of the chicken meat. It was very stringy and tough to bite through in some areas. I was very much looking forward to the macaroni salad but it was just fine. I had high hopes for this one but it just wasn't creamy enough to blow me away. If you have ever visited a Hawaiian island and ever felt like you needed a fix of that memorable vacation, this place won't bring you back to those island memories but you will still be treated very well from a very kind staff. Their attitude is very aloha however I hope one day I can take a bite of their meal and be transported back to island vibes. I would recommend this place if you want solid Asian flavors, but not Hawaiian island specific flavors.

They are fall off the bone tender, with a lot of meat on them bones and a good amount of seasoning. The mac & chz was SO good! Perfect amount of seasoning, amazingly CHEESY....Green onion sprinkled ontop so if you don't like that, they are happy to leave it off. 2nd visit. I got the ribs again (thats how good they are!), collards, mac and chz (for the husband this time lol) and the kool-aid. The collards are perfectly seasoned with a rich dark broth. Nothing needed to be added, salt, pepper, nothing! My cousin had the brisket. It had a beautiful smoke ring and char. Seasoned perfectly. You can see the seasoning. Perfect mix of fat and lean ratio. She had the same side as I did. Now, to the show stopper.... The KOOL-AID! It was hands down the BEST kool-aid Ive ever tasted. I never liked kool-aid because it would be so watery. Not this! It was dark red, with a fruit punch flavor and just the right amount of sugar! Do not leave that building without a kool-aid I'll be back to try their other menu items soon!

The food is delicious. One of the best barbecue places that I've been to is around downtown Garland, not in the square, kind of about two blocks away from the square, but when I went, I had a barbecue sandwich, which was delicious. I had a dessert, which was great. I think he was also featured at the state fair of Texas as well, but if you wanna try some good barbecue in Garland, try them out, I guarantee you'll love them.
