I found out about Ruby when my son needed alterations on a suit and I needed something quick. The…read moreservice was amazing and very fast (on request). I used to take all my suit/shirt alterations to Chicago but my guy left so I figured I would give Ruby a shot. So far they have been just as good as my guy in Chicago. I have not used them for dry cleaning just yet but I may switch this as well.

I had an extremely frustrating experience at Ruby Cleaners outlet; Naperville. I brought in 10…read moreitems for dry cleaning, and when I went to pick them up, all 10 garments were shoved into a single, see-through bag with just one tie at the top. When I asked for the garments to be bagged individually to keep them properly protected, they refused unless I paid an extra 10¢ per bag. After already paying around $50 for the service, having the manager, Siraj Patel, argue with me over a few cents was completely absurd. His attitude throughout the entire interaction was exceptionally rude and unhelpful. Between the lazy packaging, nickel-and-diming over pennies, and terrible customer care, they clearly do not value their customers or respect their clothing. I don't recommend to use them.

We've been using Sims for a couple years and I was almost ready to leave after my first visit...let…read moreme clarify. I have a bit of OCD in certain aspects of my life. My shirts all face a certain direction. After my first batch of shirts came back - they were going the wrong way! Do I take them off the hangers and switch? How do I deal with this? Argh! Over the next few visits the rest of my shirts slowly migrated to the reverse direction and it became the divider between my laundered shirts and my regular shirts - sorted by color of course :-) Despite all this, Sims gets a 5-star rating because they haven't broken a button of mine yet. My previous cleaner would regularly break buttons and I think would just randomly pick out buttons regardless of how well they match. Go back to my earlier statement about OCD and this is something that'll drive a person like me crazy. I think Sims has actually fixed button mishaps from the other cleaner! I've had other random things repaired and the pricing and turnaround time are wonderful. Absolutely great people to deal with and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone.
