It has lap lanes pool, kiddie pool, diving pool and sliding pools. The shower / changing rooms are maintained. The manicured lawn is complete with beautiful landscapes. There are plenty of family games provided across the lot. Portable and stand Bbqs are available to use. Lots of picnic tables, chairs and umbrellas that can be use for larger groups. The pool is accessible only to Clarkstown residents and their guests, so if you're not a resident befriend someone who is. You must obtain a Clarkstown resident ID card first at the registration office at 31 Zukor Road in New City. (The pool won't simply accept a driver's license.) Rates can be either daily or seasonal for individuals or family, and are very reasonable compared to similar community pools.

This is what Nanuet Lake should have been like all along... no thanks whatsoever to my parents who thought this was some tough love version of Shangri La, albeit minus the all consuming bliss one often finds in paradise. Within less than 3 months, my trainer missed two sessions without notice ("no-shows"), and the quality of the training has been inconsistent and unprofessional. When I asked to cancel because I wasn't getting the proper service I paid for, they told me it was "absolutely impossible" to cancel -- no matter what the situation was. That is completely unfair and unprofessional. Customers should not be forced to continue paying for a service that is not being delivered properly. I'm very disappointed and would not recommend this location to anyone.

So if you're looking to enjoy the pool and a drink, make sure to do it in a weekend.

Very spacious and clean pools. About 50-100 tanning lounge chairs to choose from. Very attentive lifeguards. Snack bar is available as well. A diving pool, Olympic pool, swimming lanes, adult section, and various feet of water to swim in. This is all included when you pay the one time fee for the day. So sad I only learned about them towards the end of the summer! They close on Labor Day. Will definitely make it a staple to come back next summer.
