We feel that TLE has created a community of parents, The "TLE family," and an environment of care and learning that has been exemplary for my son. He is almost reading as he leaves pre-K and has been well prepared for kindergarten. We made lifelong friends during our time here and always felt partnership with the teachers and administration whenever something came up. Covid was a very difficult time, but we got through it and TLE did an amazing job at keeping the children safe, communicating with the parents, and creating an environment of learning even during a pandemic. I highly recommend this daycare and school. They are amazing and we miss them already!

Shortly after, this person had to leave and we were in need of daycare that would offer care and education for our daughter (who was 2 at the time) that kept up the momentum for how much and quickly our daughter was learning. We eventually came to find TLE in Riverdale, and were so pleased with the initial impression. Through time, our daughter demonstrated continuous learning (started in daycare knowing numbers, letters, shapes, and colors, and now expanded number counting to 30, is able to list colors in Spanish, and always catches her mother and myself by surprise when she demonstrates her growing knowledge). Also, the way that this facility has managed safety and care during the heaviest parts of the COVID pandemic solidified to our family that we had chosen well. Since both her mother and I are considered essential workers, the fact that the daycare has remained open for a huge portion of this time (rarely did they close, but always had safety measures in place) made for a really supportive service. We loved that they also had requirements for the children to wear masks as well as the staff. Overall, there isn't anything negative I can say about this particular daycare. We moved away and had to select a new daycare, but I cannot emphasize enough how positive our experience has been with this facility. We will miss Surbhi, Teresa and all the lovely staff at this location dearly.

The classes are no more than three students per class and there are two teachers in the pool so you can feel very confident and safe for your child child. Now- this is not a high end location with changing rooms and showers etc. however- I have been to other places who have such a rigorous curriculum that they are not adapting to each individual child's needs. They are doing that here. So 1 no fancy locker rooms, no area for the parents to hang. BUT my kid was braver then she ever was in any class before.

It's a laneline, attached to a 5lb kettleball instead of the i-hook that is built into the wall of the pool. My five year old daughter, who is learning to swim, tried to steady herself and nearly pulled the kettleball into the pool and onto her head. I've implored them to fix this (which is simple). It's disappointing that they won't.

I went to my first class terrified of breathing under water and feeling super anxious. However I really enjoy working with Lori, she definitely pushes me which I need. I like how she gives me direction, and shows me examples of what to do. We also have good conversation throughout the class, which helps me to relax and doesn't make the session so stressful. I am becoming more comfortable in the water and more confident. We have been working on breathing, stroke and treading. We always start on time and It's nice that you have time after your lesson to continue practicing if you please. The pool Is heated which is a plus. Craig is also very nice and pointed out a few things I didn't even realize I was doing wrong, which will definitely help me as I continue my sessions. I look forward to more lessons.

I was encouraged by my husband to learn how to swim again after a bad experience from swimming lessons when I was a child. I contacted Lori and one statement she said stuck to me, "You will not be afraid, if you have an exit strategy." She put me in touch with Craig and when we met up for my first lesson, he just said: "As long as you trust me and trust yourself, I can probably get you to float during your first lesson." I honestly thought that he was quite ambitious. I had a two hour lesson and Craig spent the first part of the lesson getting me comfortable in the water and explaining to me theoretically how the water can work to your favor. I told Craig that my biggest fear was the front float as I was extremely uncomfortable with my face in the water. He explained to me that when I take my makeup off and wash my face in the shower at night, I had to hold my breath. He told me to treat it as it was the same routine. I held my breath and dunked my face in the water knowing that he was right there. Then, he proceeded to hold my hand and told me to try again and this time lifting my legs up. Lastly, he said, "When you first saw me, you gave me a hug...I assumed you liked me enough, that's why you leaned forward to give me a hug." "Why don't you try again, come towards me...trust me I won't let anything happen to you." And I guess, that was it...I looked at him, held my breath, and leaned in towards him and there it was I floated...just like that. I had a total of 4 (2 hour long) lessons with Craig. Currently, I am able to partially do the breast stroke, free-style, and float on my front and back. I've still got lots to work on and plan to continue my swimming journey with Craig, but I never knew I was able to do it until Lori and Craig encouraged me that I can. If you are an adult with a fear of water, but is eager to learn how to swim, please consider Aqua Skills. If you trust Craig/Lori and yourself, you can definitely do it.

The class is very serious and each kid works with someone but it's awkward and not fun. She did not look forward to going but on top of that , they cancelled the last 2 sessions of the class and never reached out to rebook or offer a refund. I emailed and called Wafa multiple times and he never responded. Then months later he sent me an email to signup for another class. Lol Who does this? Who ignores their paying clients and then sends them ads for future classes? I need the refund for the classes that were never rebooked. Stop running a clown show and treat customers fairly. Would not recommend. Wafa does bad business.
