It was great, they would have their fill of fun and then we could go home and rest. Now years later my wife and I joined the newly renovated pool with all new lounge chairs, locker and rest rooms and a new kiddie pool with a slide. It is a huge improvement. It was ok before and now it is so much better. We came here quite a bit this year and really enjoyed it. There is no food allowed by the pool area but they have a snack stand with tables and benches where you can either purchase food or bring your own. We had a very nice time this season and will join again next. They also have other amenities at the park such as tennis and a meeting room.

The signs say "shower before getting into the pool," yet I was yelled at to shower just for walking to a lounge chair with my towel. If you have to shower the moment you step onto the deck, change the signs to reflect that. ​Dealing with the public is hard, but the staff here are completely miserable and looking for a fight. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere.

There are a few picnic tables and grills on the lawn. No pool lounge chairs or towel service so bring your own chairs, picnic blankets, food/snacks and other accoutrements to enjoy a leisurely summer day. Facilities are clean and well-maintained. Very kids/toddler-friendly. The sizeable shallow end has several sprinklers/splash fountains for children to play in, and there are slides on both the kiddie and adult sides. Also a playground in the back (not affiliated with the pool). There are always many life guards on duty every time I've gone. The pool is accessible only to Clarkstown residents and their guests, so if you're not a resident befriend someone who is. You must obtain a Clarkstown resident ID card first at the registration office at 31 Zukor Road in New City. (The pool won't simply accept a driver's license.) Rates can be either daily or seasonal for individuals or family, and are very reasonable compared to similar community pools.

You can even see right to the bottom. What a concept. This is what Nanuet Lake should have been like all along... no thanks whatsoever to my parents who thought this was some tough love version of Shangri La, albeit minus the all consuming bliss one often finds in paradise. I regret didn't buy the package because I just realized that unused pass can carry over to next year. I love the fact that we can purchase a day pass unlike some other pool that request yearly membership.The staff here is very welcoming. The pool is very clean and well maintained. Overall, I love everything about this pool. I just wish that they open a little bit longer. As far as I know the last day that they open for this season is Labor Day. The pool and the facilities are always clean. The lifeguard instructor was super sweet and my daughter learned a lot from the classes. It was extremely affordable and my daughter had a blast. I would highly recommend for swimming lessons. The only annoying thing was that they dont allow strollers on the pool deck which was inconvenient for me and my infant!

It has a fake little sand/beach area. Over looks Manhattan, there is also a wrist band needed for every 45min shift. For 15 mins each hour the pool is tested. And only a certain amount of people are let into the pool at one time. This is the most awesome public pool in NYC!
